I definitely do not recommend getting the food to-go. I was told that they would bring my order to me at the bar, but they forgot. My food was sitting there for a while as I could see it from the bar, but didn’t know it was mine at the time. Everything was cold when I got home. I ordered herb encrusted salmon. It was overcooked, dry and bland. My wife’s chicken picatta was smothered with sun-dried tomatoes but hardly any sauce. The only thing that was done well was the excellent service by the bartender.

I have to say as a disabled American that because of the host, Christopher, that I had one of the best experiences out since I was injured. I look forward to going Jack again. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the salad and some of the food was not as fresh as I usually expect.

Seeing as i fancy myself a bit of a food connoisseur, the four stars were based on overall experience. As of lately i have tried to stop frequenting commercial, franchised restaurants and gone for the small businesses. For the appetizer we couldn’t decide between the lasagne frite and the new mozzarella sticks, so we told the server to surprise us with whichever one he chose. Worked out well bc we got the lasagne frite, which is what i wanted! My mother got the piadina with chicken and spinach and maybe sun-dried tomatoes, which came with salad. I ordered the chicken piccata, which was tasty but had way too many capers, and i don’t like capers! The piccata came with parmesan beaded zucchini which was good, but not great. The zucchini was soft and a tiny bit on the soggy side, but dipped in Alfredo was a big plus for me. I would have liked it better if it were more crisp though, definitely! The appetizer was delightful but everything else was average, food wise. We sat in the bar so i believe our server, josh, was the bartender. Whoever he was, he was hella cute! Tattoos, piercings, guages… and very neatly done hair! I loved it! He was very attentive but not over bearing, came at the perfect moment for refills and add i was showing my mother how the ziosk thing works he popped up bc he saw the«call server» light was blinking! Don’t come for the food, if you want from scratch Italian food go to basilico… but here you get great service! I always say great service can trump bad food(it wasn’t bad food, just average) and make it a great experience anyways, and that was the case for me!

I ordered the lasagna fritta and it came to my table so fried and hard that you couldn’t even tell what filling was in it. I sent it back and what appeared to be a chef brought it back out and this time it was cooked perfectly. I loved it, tasted great! The problem I have is everyone ordered an entrée except for me my meal was an appetizer so I had to order a salad. When the salad came to the table it was two bowls and I ask where my salad was and the waitress told me that everyone share the salad because it was family style. So I asked why did I have to pay additional for my salad but then turn around and have to share it when everybody else salad was included? The explanation totally didn’t make any sense so that’s why they got two stars. I will never order an additional salad! So FYI, If one person orders a salad at your table share the salad because its family style… what a ripoff.

Nice wine tasting when we arrived, and they also gave my son a soda. Which made him extremely happy to get a drink while waiting for a table!

Mediocre, as the reviews indicated. Skip this one Olive Garden and go to Carrabba’s — I wish we had. We had decided to go to Carrabba’s but my husband got into the wrong lane so it was easier to go to Olive Garden. Everything about this restaurant was mediocre. …maybe because it was 3:30 in the afternoon, I don’t know. Hostess dutifully led us to our table, server dutifully took our order… food arrived promptly. …and yet. .there was something missing. …perhaps everyone was unhappy? There was no warmth or joy… and this was reflected in the standard fare — which I usually enjoy. Unless I see higher reviews, I would not return here.

Food was great but service was underwhelming. Never ending soup, salad, and bread sticks only works out if your server ever shows up.

My daughter and I got there right around 12 and were seated right away. We ordered the calamari to start which was light and delicious. The breadsticks and salad came next and both were fresh and extra yummy. For our meals I ordered the Chicken Marsala Ravioli which was on the specials menu. This was fantastic! I want to order another bowl ASAP! My daughter ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and a huge meatball! She loved her meatball but was not a huge fan of the sauce. Next time I will order her the regular sauce. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. All in all we had a great experience and will be back.

I came here on Veteran’s Day with my two daughters. We had actually attempted to go to Golden Corral first. That was a big mistake. I’ve been living in Stafford for a little over a year, and was living in Gloucester prior to. So most of the restaurants I patronized were either in Stafford or in Williamsburg. I’m not that used to the extremely large crowds that require a wait time of over an hour. So olive garden was the second dinner choice since it was 10% off for family members for the day as well. I was given a wait time of 1Hr15Min, and given a buzzer. Of course being that it was Veteran’s Day; there wasn’t anything but standing room while we waited, and barely that. The hostess informed me that wine was 50% off at the bar with the buzzer. I happened to luck out and walk up while four patrons were just leaving their seat. So at least my daughters and I had a place to sit down while we waited. I got myself a glass a wine and non-alcoholic drinks for them. The bartenders were very attentive even though they were still swamp. Of course some people opted to just sit at the bar and order food instead of waiting for their buzzers to go off. I ended up doing the same as well after 20 minutes of sitting. I don’t have any complaints about the food. The food was good; neither great or horrible. I’m giving it four stars because I believe that the bartenders excelled ensuring that we got our orders, and even refilled the salad and bread sticks after the food came. It was a madhouse in there and they definitely handled it very well.

Do not come here for Veterans Day. They do not honor Veterans. Last year on Veterans Day the employees doing the seating put Veterans on the back of the line so they could seat their lunch time regulars first. Then the Veterans had to wait even longer to have theirs orders taken. It’s better for the Veterans to go to Ryans just down the road in Central Park. Who needs stale bread sticks anyway.

Awful service. Bread crumbs on gluten free?! We generally enjoy olive garden, especially since they have gluten free options. Tonight we visited this location and the experience was extremely disappointing. They topped my gluten free pasta with bread crumbs. As a gluten intolerant person. This actually makes me sick. So that’ll be fun. Even though we ordered bottomless salad and soup we never got our refills. No drink orders were taken, nor was our water refilled and they allowed our plates to just stay stacked on the table. We may have asked nicely for refills but the waiter only came by once and when I asked about the bread crumbs .he definitely didn’t care. Oh well. Won’t be back. Good luck, I’d suggest sitting at the bar, probably better service.

Salad and Soup… My favorite meal from Olive Garden. When I want something different I get pasta with salad. Their wine special with three glasses of Italian wine(white, rose and red) is my beverage of choice.

A total of 4 of us visited this facility on Aug. 17 at about 1:30pm to avoid the prime lunch time crowd. I live in the Woodbridge area and never visited this one… The décor was very nice and I liked the seating area around the bar which was located just after entering the restaurant… We were seated promptly and our drinks and breadsticks arrived promptly… The breadsticks were delicious, fresh, warm and nicely seasoned… Party members ordered… Chicken Scampi… Shrimp Scampi Fritta… Stuffed Rigatoni w/sausage…and I ordered shrimp Alfredo along with salad… When the entrees arrived they all looked appetizing and colorful except MINE… mine was plentiful enough but being alfredo along with the pasta, shrimp and cream sauce, was a sea of WHITE… no parsley or anything to garnish and make the plate more colorful… Everyone else’s plates looked appetizing and colorful… amazing how a sprinkle of parsley or something else would have improved my plate appearance… I didn’t sample anyone else’s plate so can’t comment on them at all… My entrée was tasty & fresh… My major complaint about it /along with the other entrees was… None of them gave off any aroma of basil, italian seasoning, oregano or even garlic. My dish was tasty but bland and lacking taste… How can 4 entrees arrive at one table with NO aroma. It was as though no seasonings were added to the meal… If mine tasted bland I can only guess the other meals were the same even though no one complained or mentioned this… As a matter of fact while entering and seated there I never got an aroma to remind me this place is an italian restaurant, unlike other ones… And the cardinal sin of this restaurant was my the lettuce in my salad was mostly FLAT… the majority of it was LIFTED onto my fork where as salad should be crisp enough to be PIERCED by the fork, a major flaw… It appears that maybe the salad had been sitting a while unrefrigerated and since it was late in the lunch hour that may have been the case… either way the lettuce should have been kept at a chilled temperature until it was ready to be served… The one plus was our server who did not pester us but was available for the few times we needed her… Don’t know if I will visit this one again as there is one closer to where I live and I will go there to make a comparison… Deep down I want to compare this place to Carrabas but realize there is no comparison and that is why I mentioned the lack of aroma while in the Olive Garden, something that any Italian restaurant should be able to establish with no problem.

I have been going to this restaurant for past 10 years, their food quality is going down day by day… no HYGIENE at all… I will never go there again! Today, I took my daughter to this restaurant. First, they ignored us to be seated. It smells like PEE near toilet and I thought if we go inside it won’t be a problem! To my surprise, it smelled pretty bad inside too. There are FLIES on the tables. NOHYGIENEATALL! They added lot of different entrées to their menu, but food has no quality! Just too much cheese. I won’t recommend this restaurant to any one!

Good(as in «not Great») food. Easy to get to, but parking can be a problem. My wife and I stopped for an early lunch while on a longer trip down I-95, had trouble finding a parking spot, and found the IHOP next door to have a wait, so we came over to the Olive Garden. The food was ok, and the service was good.

Came here as a surprise for Valentines Day. My wife has been craving the food so I figured this place was best. We arrived at 5 pm and to our surprise we were told 1 hour wait. I asked if shes ok waiting and she was ok. I then started to panic as I had tickets to a 7pm movie across the street at Paragon and route 3 was slammed just like this place. 20 minutes into the wait my wife asked why I look worried and I proceeded to hand her the tickets to the movie as she was stoked then realized that we didnt have a lot of time. 545 comes and we still havent sat(we were hoping 1 hour wasnt true as many people left with leftovers) so we said 5 more minutes. 550 and our buzzer goes off thank you! We were sat in the back of the restaraunt and she wanted the fondue appetizer. I let her know we had no time and we decided popcorn at theater would be fine. Our waiter was very good and very nice but I dont remember his name. We ordered our food(wife had shrimp stuffed tilapia and I had the chicker parm). We received our salad and breadsticks fresh and gobbled it all up. Make sure you get the alfedo dip for the breadsticks because it makes them even better which is hard to believe I know. On to the entrees: My wife wasnt impressed with her food. There wasnt a ton of flavor for her. I did not try it. My chicken parm however was awesome. The chicken was breaded perfectly and the pasta had just enough sauce and cheese to not make it overwhelming. I would order again and I do not believe my wife would order the same. Overall we love Olive Garden. The service is always good the atmosphere always good the food mostly good. I wish it was not as crowded as most times are but our taste is the same as others. We ended up making the movie on time in case you were wondering and the waiter received over a 20% tip. 4 stars due to the wait and my wife didnt care for her meal all that much but we will be back and will continue coming back unless they open one up in South Point. :)

I have been here before and my great experience is not due to the restaurant itself but this phenomenal waiter named Joshua S. This young kid treated my wife and I like we were Jay Z and Beyoncé. Best service that I have had in six months.

Went to dinner with a friend, and it was very crowded but we were seated in 10 minutes or so. Our waiter was nice and checked on us regularly so no complaints for the staff. However, after ordering are meal the waiter informed us that the calamari might take longer since it was still thawing. A little odd but I guess it was good to know. When the calamari came out it was completely bland. It needed a lot of salt and my friend agreed with me. Also the salad that came with our meal, specifically the dressing, wasn’t very appetizing. Usually I thought they asked what dressing we wanted, but they did not. The dressing was kind of a sour citrus taste that suited neither of our taste buds. As for the main course, I had the tour of Italy which included the chicken parmesan, Alfredo, and lasagna, while my friend just had the lasagna. I wasn’t too impressed with my dish, nothing stood out. The cheese for the chicken seemed to be a mixture of yellow American cheese with Parmesan cheese. The Alfredo was unmemorable. My friend also had complaints about his lasagna, since we both had it. It looked like from a cafeteria where they cook it in a large tray and just cut out a portion. The meal was a little bit pricey for the quality but we left very full. I think I would come back if I just wanted to stuff myself rather than eat for quality.

Came here on a very busy saturday evening. Throng of crowds with different special occasions to celebrate were all waiting for a table. The front end staffs were organized and were handing out pagers. We were initially asked to wait for 45 mins but then it was stretched to an hour for a party of 7. Service was ok. she got the free salad and breadsticks down the minute we were seated. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted as it should be. Would come back but not on a very busy weekend.
