From the moment I walked in, things went wrong. I went in to get my hair dyed from the bright purple that it was to my natural color(light/medium brown) instead. None of the stylists seemed to want to do it, but the manager(Sylvia) finally agreed to. She kept telling me I should keep the purple color over and over, but I explained that I couldn’t since job interviews were coming up and it wasn’t professional. The game plan was to strip my hair of the color, then put brown on top. Sylvia told me it wouldn’t destroy my hair like bleaching it would, and that it would remain as soft as it was afterwards. After an hour or so, she started explaining how they weren’t allowed to keep people after the business closed and that they got charged money if that happened. I didn’t really understand why she was saying it since I had gotten there almost five hours before closing. It made sense once it was ten minutes before they closed when she told me she was done and spun me around to show me. My hair was red – bright, orange-ish red. It wasn’t even uniformly the wrong color but instead had streaks throughout. Out of all of the salons I’ve been to, if something messed up this badly, they fix it on the spot. Not at Regis. The main problem was that the next day, as I had explained to her, I was going to an annual family Christmas party. Lots of pictures were to be taken. That was partially why I had asked in the beginning if she was sure it could be fixed that day. I was trying not to panic, but Sylvia just looked at it and said, «better than green, right?» She told me the red would fade eventually and if it REALLY bothered me, I could come back later, but the heavy implication was that’s a silly idea since it’d fade with time. While paying($ 209 for a trim and the coloring), she gave me a small bottle of hair product and assured me over and over that it was worth money. I assume it was given with the hopes that I’d not raise a fuss over my hair? Long story short, I had temporary dye in my hair for the Christmas party, but orange still peeked through no matter what I did. I went back a few days later so she could«fix» it, but honestly, the end result wasn’t worth the trouble. She said she didn’t understand why I had made a big deal of it when I had been told I could come back. I was told that I should have planned it better and gotten to the salon earlier on the first day, despite the five hours she had to do my hair. It was made clear that this was MY mistake, not theirs. Sylvia made me feel like I was being an oversensitive whiner, and at the time, I believed it. But after allowing some time to go by and after reading other reviews that state similar issues as mine, I no longer see it that way. All I wanted was my hair to look good. That wasn’t too much to ask when that’s their job, and yet it apparently was. A few other notes: –The second day I was there, a gentleman came in and asked if he could get his hair cut. He was ignored for about five minutes in the beginning, but when he was finally acknowledged, Sylvia told him the girls who could do it were on break and that they’d be back within fifteen minutes. He agreed to come back then. Twenty minutes later, he showed up and was completely ignored. He waited for ten minutes or so but wasn’t spoken to; it was like he wasn’t there at all. He left and didn’t come back. –The remark about my hair not being damaged like it would be with bleach? Ha. As she brushed it through on the first day, she said something along the lines of «say goodbye to how soft your hair is.» And boy, was she right. It’s been almost a month and my hair is just now finally recovering from the processes. I don’t mind that since I expected it, but I would have preferred not to have been lied to about what the state of my hair would be afterwards. –Before I left on the second day, I was given another«free,» half-used product. Again, I think it was supposed to pacify me into not posting a review or complaining to corporate. Take it from the girl who is still trying to remove the last remaining red that should have never been there in the first place: save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

So I came here before to get my hair cut and loved it, so this review is on when I took my daughter in to get her hair cut. Walked in and saw a lady at the counter trying to pay and the employee trying to take her card. I guess there was a problem and she couldn’t pay. She never said anything to me, so we waited for about a minute more and then the hair stylus walked over with her client and looked at the other employee and then looked at me asked what I needed and told her I needed to get my daughters hair cut. She looked at us and said 5 minutes. I said okay, but she didn’t offer us a place to sit and the other and sorry I’m saying this but I’m pissed about how they had their customer service, fat chick sitting on a chair and not saying a word playing on her phone and she looked at me all strange like cause I wanted my daughters hair cut. So I looked at my daughter and said lets go. They didn’t even care! They didn’t know how to take the payment of the First Lady and they didn’t know how to offer us a place to sit and the fat chick didn’t know how to say anything but play on her phone. The first trip was fine and I was happy, but now I will never go on there again!

Came for a 1 inch trim, left with the worst haircut EVER! Don’t remember the lady’s name but I came in an hour before closing and she seemed to make a big deal of it. I have long, thick hair and she«brushed» my hair with a freaking comb! It made it all frizzy and poofy and she cut it before washing it. Chunks of my hair are at different lengths. Ive been growing out my hair for so long and she ruined it. DONTCOMEHERE! Ive added a picture of my «trim».
