My husband and I both are patients of Dr. Herrera, who was highly recommended by our dentist. We both had some oral surgery done in the Salinas office. After the surgery I had no pain and very little discomfort. I was back to work the next day Amazing !!!

My 15 year old son had his four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Herrera. He and his staff were professional and there were no complications. However, they did not let me know when the procedure got started nor when my son was in recovery. His appointment was at 9:10am. I went in with my son and stayed with him until the IV was set up then went back to the waiting room and did not get called in until 11:30am. The waiting room is sparse with the same 12 minute loop playing over and over on the TV and a very little selection of magazines that were 4 months old. There was no toilet paper in the one restroom they had. When I went to the recovery room to collect my son, he was obviously still sedated, which is to be expected… but the nurse marched in and nicely but overly quick went over the after procedure instructions, made my son stand up and guided us out to the parking lot and closed the door behind us. I ended up leaning my son against the wall because he was so dizzy he could not stand and ran to my car to drive it over to him. I felt like we were parts in an assembly line. The job got done… but the service is lacking in bedside manner and general courtesy.

so first of all i was refer over by my dentist and when he told me i needed my wisdom teeth pulled, i was terrified… When i called to make the appointment the receptionist was really nice and she got me in right away, very professional. Once i came in to my 1^st appointment the assisitant were so professional with me and very caring, they knew i was so scared but took care of me. Once i met dr Herrera he was very professional and knew what he was doing. i also met the financial person and she gave me a copy of the treatment plan and explain to me detail by detail on the insurance and told me how much it was going to cost. Fianlly i had my suregery and i felt so confident when i came back becyase i knew i was in great hands. i had no pain at all and the surgery went EXCELLENT!!! i highly recommend dr herrera if i ever need any more treatment im coming back and im referring my friends and family to dr herrera!!!
