It’s not often that I enter a bay area business of any kind that is NOT culturally diverse. I went to this office on an interview, this interview included about an hour of testing. There were NO black, white, Asian or Indian people working or interviewing there, I was the only one who was different. When the woman looked me in the face, her mood went dark. About five minutes into the test, one of the employee’s began talking on her cell about two feet behind me(she was almost screaming in Spanish), the next thing I knew the office was crowded with about ten people, all speaking Spanish very loud(I was effectively surrounded). I feel this was done to intimidate me, and it worked! The office made it pretty clear that they had no use for«my kind»(although, they refused to clarify what my kind is). This office is not diverse, and clearly seeks out one ethnicity for employment. I do not practice discrimination or intimidation, and felt both were unfairly directed at me, based on my ethnicity.
