This place is fast and good! There is rarely a wait to be seated and the food comes out so quick. The price is right here too, very rarely do I spend over 50 $ for my family of three.

My average phở place to go to in Fremont. Nothing special but the phở is consistently good. My only problem with this place is their meat is never consistently cut. Sometimes in my rare steak phở i’ll have super thick pieces, and other times I’ll have nice thin pieces. Their noodles have a good bite to it, never overcooked or undercooked. They have a lot of condiments on the table for you to use. I also love their shrimp cake, which is this shrimp paste wrapped in tofu skin and deep fried. It’s delicious! I have also ordered their vermicelli with grilled items on top, and it’s not bad, but they serve it in a shallow bowl and there isn’t much noodle in it, because they fill the bottom with lettuce. Service is fast and efficient, never waited more than 10 minutes for my phở to arrive at my table. However don’t expect super happy smiley service, this place won’t give you that. This is a nice neighborhood phở restaurant, good place to get my fill on some viet food ^__^

Location is great for anyone travelling to/from Fremont BART station. Unfortunately, the Phở was only luke-warm and the service was non-existant. For example, we asked for extra lemons, and they didn’t come within 10 minutes, so we went up to the register to ask as it was impossible to flag down a server. When we were ready to leave, again it was impossible to flag down a server, so I went to the register and asked for to-go containers, but the two at the register were on their phones and seemed bothered that I had come to interrupt their cell time.

Not the best phở, the waitresses were pretty rude but honestly I’ve never had good service at a phở place. We ordered 4 phở bowls and they bring one small plate of mint with only 2 limes. We ask for another plate and the guy disappears. When my sister asked the older guy in the front for another plate he refused and said only one plate per two phở bowls and she replied with«we have 4 people with 4 bowls». How cheap and rude. Not to mention their own waitress wasn’t very educated on their menu and the hair in our water was pretty gross too. Won’t be returning

This place is a great find. Located across from city hall and the hospital. They make great phở and bun bo hue. I enjoy the PO6 the wife gets bun bo hue. We recommend those dishes. Service is above standard and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Best phở in Fremont. Shaken beef with garlic noodles is the best. Always fast, always good and very nice staff

Considering the A-framed house-shape venue and the location of Fremont, one would expect first-class Vietnamese experience. The service is abiding but dispassionate, and the array of dishes is overall haphazard. I thought a rice plate made of beef and chicken wings would be exciting, but it’s merely budgetable and adequate. I’m not protesting, but I’m not on cloud nine either. Stick to the Phở and Vermicelli, and you will be contented. Those are the two made with some heart in it. #pithy

Definitely better than a lot in the area. It’s so close to me that I tend to come here a lot. The fried chicken wings and rice plates are pretty decent. You definitely can’t compare to some resto’s in SJ or SF though but for Fremont it’s a good size and they are fast. If you come here on a cold day for lunch be prepared to wait. Sometimes it can crowded as I found out about a week ago.

More of an Americanized phở restaurant, in comparison to phở places you can find in San Jose. I wasn’t willing to make the drive to San Jo on this particular Friday so decided to try out Basil Leaf instead. I wasn’t super impressed but wasn’t disappointed either. There are lots of options for phở, vermicelli, spring rolls and other dishes you would find at a similar restaurant. On the bright side, there is plenty of parking in this plaza so you should never have a problem, they accept credit cards, and service was fine.

This used to be a great place for Phở. But after several visits, it is apparent now that it is not what it used to be. For examples, the service is quick and simple however, they have no mannerisms or etiquette a simple thank you is left unanswered a simple question is answered as if one is not educated. Secondly, the beef flank or well done beef is always in large sections where it is difficult to break apart or even chew, not to mention the smaller portions of basil leaves they serve now. I waited to review this place after several visits and after today I am still not satisfied. As stated before, I have been coming here for over several years but now will take my money elsewhere in the future.

We eat here at least once a month. The rice plates and phở noodle soup are good however the quantity of the phở can sometimes be inconsistent. Also, the one thing that really bugs me is when the server brings out the bowl of Phở carrying it with one hand. There are times when his finger will get dipped in the soup which very unsanitary. MANAGEMENT: PLEASEHAVE the server wear some gloves or carry the soup bowl with two hands so their finger does not end up in the soup.

Phở lacks flavor and the broth is always hot/warm. Every single time! It’s not hot enough to the point where your rare steak remains rare. Spring rolls are so stale and very gritty. You can totally tell they pre make it probably days prior(gross) Two stars because the food comes fast

Service here is eh. No one was at the front to greet us, and it took around 3 minutes for my family and I to be seated at a table. When it comes to serving water, they are lightning quick to giving it to dining patrons who just arrived. However, ask for a refill and you’re better off not asking in the first place. I asked for a water refill twice to 2 different servers, with both saying that they will be right back to refill it. I gave them until I finished my phở and still no water refill. The mint leaves that came on a plate with the bean sprouts for the phở was terrible. Many of the leaves were limp and had lots of dark spots on them. I was only able to pick out 2 decent leaves from the 2 stalks of mint leaves that they provided for us. Many of their utensils were dirty, as well as the carpet on the floor. Bits of pieces of food were littered under many of the tables. The only good thing was the phở. The size is pretty decent, and the phở itself is tasty.

Phở– it’s not bad but we ordered three phos. Two of them were only half full and the third was almost all full. There were also barely any noodles. Pad Thai-I know I shouldn’t be ordering thai food at a Vietnamese place but this was the worst pad Thai I’ve had in my life. Super oily and no flavor! Spring rolls– they only give you two. Service-to start of the table was very dirty. Plenty of waiters around but we had to ask for an extra bowl to three different waiters until we finally got one. Plus one of the workers hit on my girlfriend. Wouldn’t not recommend even trying.

I wish I could give this place 3 stars… This place is not good for phở. I am not too sure about the other dishes but my boyfriend and I tried their phở and boy, it was tasteless and bland. We had to put lots of sriracha and hoisin sauce so that our broth could taste better. You can totally do better at a different restaurant. or just go towards South Bay. We also ordered their spring rolls, which were good. Tasted like any other spring rolls– nothing crazy special. It tasted fresh and had a good amount of greens and meat. I’d order this again if i come back. In regards to drinks, I decided to try their freshly squeezed lemonade. It was really refreshing and had a good amount of citrus sour and sweetness to it. Definitely order this if you feel like a cold drink! Overall, the things on the menu were affordable. If i come back, I’ll have to try their other noodle soups like bun rieu or bun bo hue or stir fry noodle dishes.

So whenever I’m sick(or hungover) I go for Phở. I came here with my mommy last week & it was honestly just what I needed for my sore throat. The prices aren’t too bad & my mommy loved the vegetable Phở. I got the wonton soup(I’ve had better at Mr. Phở, but it was still good) & veggie spring rolls. The spring rolls are one of the best I’ve had though for being vegetarian…

A clean phở spot, +1 for that! As my friend says, «This isn’t San Jose phở.» Which simply means it does not live up to the expectations of what«good phở» is in the Bay Area. Yea, this isn’t the best phở, but it’s not the worst either. It gets the job done AND it’s local(well, for me at least since I live in Fremont). I ordered their«small» Phở Tai and looked like I barely touched it in the end. The portions are a good size and they give you ALOT of noodles. Dishes come out pretty fast here too.

Pros: The phở broth and noodles are very delicious! The broth is on the«less oily» side which is always a plus because it feels and tastes clean and clear. They give you the option to choose«fresh noodles» or the normal rice noodles. The fresh noodles are wide flat noodles which is more of a Hong Kong style. Both are delicious with a good amount of «q» meaning good chewiness.” The employees don’t speak the best English so you know it is the authentic real deal. They are very nice and service is pretty decent. Cons: The place can get a little warm(probably trying to save on the A/C). The portions are also variable as one of my friends got his bowl on the leaner side while his wife got a lot more noodles and meat. So you can only pray that you get lucky and get more! Overall: Great delicious phở at affordable price. Highly recommended :)

I used to like this place but it keeps letting me down. As a phở eater who is allergic to cilantro, I do everything I can to make it very clear that I do NOT want the topping on my phở. I tell them twice if necessary and this is the ony place which cannot comprehend that. Each time I get the young Vietnamese girl as my waitress I tell her many times and tell her to please write it down which she says she will remember it. Each time she does not. And she gets fustrated with my party that she didn’t write it down each time it needs to be fixed. The phở here is mediocre, but would be two or even three stars if they actually listened to their customers. I hear many other customers asking for customizations that are ignored as well. Egg noodles to replace rice noodles. No onions. These things are messed up on each time and I always see a customer complaining about it. I’m not the only one. I’ve tried to give this place a chance but they keep letting their customers down. I’d rather take my time to go to the ones in Union City or Milpitas even. This place really needs to fix their waitresses. Unless you want ignorant service with cold noodles, I suggest you go some place else.

2nd time to Basil Leaf for lunch Tues 5÷20÷15 with mom and aunt. It was busy because it’s close to the Superior Court and Fremont City Hall offices. Mom and I both got Fresh rice noodles w/seafood soup. I picked Small because didn’t want to be too full. Mom got Large and then shared some noodles with me. A. got lemon-grass chicken w/rice, comes with a side of soup and fish sauce. She seemed to like it. Took half home. A. paid so didn’t see how much. She charged it. Separate bathrooms in the back. Women’s is just 1 sink/1 toilet.
