Cake Whimsy

Diana was fantastic! My husband and I chose her to do our birch bark wedding cake last week and it turned out beautifully. My maid of honor and I went to the tasting and ALL her cakes were delicious, but we went with the cookies and cream. She was professional, friendly, and was able to replicate what we wanted perfectly. I would absolutely recommend these incredibly talented cakemakers :)

Absolutely thrilled with my daughter’s graduation cake from Cake Whimsy. Diana and I designed the cake through email, and she got it spot on. Embarrassed to say that I never even tried their cakes before ordering, but that didn’t matter; it was incredibly moist and delicious (toffee crunch). Diana will be my go to in 2014 for my next daughter’s graduation and 2017 for my youngest daughter’s.

I’ve gone through Cake Whimsy to order cakes for 2 occasions.
The first was a joint bday party for my two brothers — this was in March. I emailed Cake Whimsy and told them what i had in mind — something that incorporated soccer and tennis. That’s all i had. I received a prompt email with an idea to make the cake green, half of it a soccer field and half of it a tennis court, with a soccer ball and tennis ball on top, both with «flames.» On one side of the cake it said «Goal!» and on the other side it said «Match Point.» This cake looked great and tasted fantastic! The flames were a bit fragile, so I was worried about the drive home but they held up well.
The second was just this week. I ordered 2 9in round cakes, plus 12 cupcakes, PLUS some cake pops — big order. Once again, i was vague on what i wanted because i lack creativity, really. One cake was for June birthdays — 9 people, and the second was for Father’s Day. The June birthday cake was a simple, buttercream cake with 9 balloon cut outs on top with the initial of each birthday person. It was fresh strawberry filling with vanilla cake. DIVINE! The second cake was for 6 fathers — all of whom are into soccer, golf and work in construction. Cake Whimsy made a golf ball and a soccer ball sit on top with construction hats on! It was the cutest cake ever! The cupcakes were for my 4 year old niece’s bday– and they were PINK! with glitter! with princess-​y stuff on top! My niece LOVED them.
Overall, I was very impressed with the work done. The prices were what you would pay at a top bakery, and the attention to detail and flavor is very much worth it! Will definitely use again!

I recently ordered 100 cake pops for an event that my company was organizing. I had never tried cake pops before I went to cake Whimsy but that quickly changed. The cake pops were INCREDIBLE. I am not a cake person by nature but I know dream of the pops almost every night. Diana was great to work with and I plan to work with her (aka bug the crap out of her to help feed my new addiction) whenever I have a chance.
The one and only regret that I have is that I cannot have Cake Whimsy make my wedding cake in Hawaii. although trust me I tried to figure out a way to transport the cake pops there!
Use Cake Whimsy and you will not be sorry! I can not recommend them enough!

I ordered a cake from Cake Whimsy as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. The cake looked and tasted great! We had a safari-​themed cake, complete with rhinos, giraffes, and zebras. Diana paid meticulous attention to detail and even researched the animals she was going to use on the cake. Aside from the amazing design, the cake tasted great! My boyfriend and I highly recommend her dark chocolate cake with raspberry filling. All the people at my boyfriend’s birthday party were very impressed with both the appearance and the taste of the cake :) You can really tell that Diana puts a lot of time and effort into her cakes, and they will not disappoint!
