This place is kinda spooky. I hate the smell in there. It smells like cigarette smoke, toilet and a dead body! What the hell is wrong with this place? Really disgusting!

OMG! Please don’t ever waste your time or money here. I wish I could rate it a zero Star. First of all the place just looks shady. My husband and stopped by on a rainy night for a simple massage. We’ve been to these Asian massage places but never one this nasty. Even if in the end the massage was good and the place was shitty I wouldn’t be soo pissed but the freaking massage SUCKED! The whole time I thought it was just my lady«Lisa» but no my husbands lady«Coco» was just as bad. Top it off I’m sure they’re not only a massage place I’m sure they attempt to give you a happy ending and if its as bad as the massage trust me you won’t have anything more than a horrible ending. PLEASEDON’T GOTHISPLACESHOULDBESHUTDOWN! try the massage place on the other end of Thornton towards Newark.

The workers there gave me nice and kind service. The atmosphere was comfortable and calming with comfy massage beds and music that puts you to sleep instantly(exaggerating haha but it did calmed me down). The environment complimented well with the massage and I felt tranquilized the whole time. The massage was terrific! My neck, muscle, shoulder and body all felt really relaxed and great afterwards. No more tension and back pains since I work a lot and I don’t get enough rest. Definitely worth a visit! I will definitely come back again and again. Don’t trust the negative reviews, they were just being mean and biased. Give this place a try: D

I found this place on the internet, looking for a local, moderately priced massage. The web site is incredibly misleading… what you see there is NOT what you see if you actually go there. When I arrived, I walked in the place to see a guy(the owner?) sitting on the customer seating, laptop next to him… a dirty, overcrowded aquarium in the corner(poor fish, swimming in that mucky water!), and the television blaring. I was asked to pay first, then told there is a $ 2 fee for using a credit card. It’s clear they prefer cash. The massage was okay, but could have been better; the table was squeaky and the sound annoying. They put me in the first room closest to the entrance and put a sign on the door stating a «Lady Client» was inside. Huh? Why advertise to everybody who’s in which room? The TV kept blaring, some other music was playing, and across the hall, it sounded like Chinese Party Central, with endless chatter and laughter. The ringing phone didn’t help the ambiance either. The atmosphere was most definitely not relaxing, to say the least. The walls of each massage room are open on top, and the little windows between them at a bit unnerving(those little windows were covered, but it would be really easy to move the covering aside and check out what’s going on in the next room.) I felt a bit uncomfortable, too, unable to avoid hearing the people in the room next door to mine. Another thing: Why the sign inside the room saying that«inappropriate behavior» will not be tolerated? My first thought, on seeing this, was that maybe they offer ‘select clients’… err, extras but don’t want to get caught running something other that a completely legitimate massage therapy business. Still, the massage was decent though not expert, the price was pretty good, and an hour massage actually lasted an hour.

I would not recommend this place at all. My boyfriend and I dropped in randomly for a massage. We didn’t expect the place to give us fancy spa treatment. We just wanted a simple, decent massage. Unfortunately, it was an awful experience. We got a massage in the same room. One masseuse gave an okay massage, but the other one probably had no idea what she was doing. I’m guessing the certificates on the wall were fake. The masseuses kept gossiping to each other in Mandarin the whole time. There was some music on, but so was the television and I could here the phone ringing throughout the hour of the«massage». The massage table also kept squeaking and the sheets looked dirty. At the end of the massage, they left and then came back in with water and straight out asked for a $ 20 tip for each of them. We ended up giving the manager $ 9 for each of them, which by the way is already 20%, and he had the audacity to ask for more. I told them they were talking too much and he just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. I checked out their website later and it is soooo misleading. Don’t be fooled! This place is shady. I’m pretty sure there was some other stuff going on there. Needless to say we skipped the sauna.

I dropped into Lucky Star this afternoon and, being a newb to professional massage places, had no idea what was«up.» I asked the manager what he recommended, and he set me up with a korean massage. I was weirded out by the whole deal with small windows between the rooms when undressing, but the majority of the experience was pretty good(I was taken aback when she started walking on my legs and back, but it was kinda cool). The downer was the abruptness in which the hour ended with a «Time up!» from her and, after exiting the room, returning with a small cup of water and a «No tip?» question after I asked where the bathroom was. Not to mention that the lady who took over for the manager had to call him to figure out how to do a tip on a credit card when he should have told her what was going on before he left, thus delaying my ability to leave after things were finished. I’ll return because of the price, but I’ll try a thai massage and(most definitely) a different girl next time.
