I enjoy a fresh salad, and that’s what I always get when i come here. Not to mention their potatoe salad is to die for. I have used their catering service as well and everything is so fresh and yummy.

Never knew this place existed in all my years in Fremont Really great service. Excellent menu. Love the way the sandwiches come in a freshly baked pita bread . Very relaxing place to dine and makes me want to come back to try their other sandwiches.

I always rate restaurants I go to for the first time but I never thought of rating the ones I’ve gone to for years. Let’s just say Minerva’s is something I crave. The salad bar is fantastic and their pita sandwiches are something you can get no where else. House made pita bread is to die for. Service is always friendly and it is a north Fremont staple.

I got the Teryaki Chicken in a pocket bread and my son got the Submarine one suggested by the young girl that worked there. We both loved our sandwiches. It is so tasty. I live all the way in Sunnyvale, but when I am in Fremont, I will be ordering more… and I think that day is tomorrow. HAHAHA.

I absolutely love Minerva’s… I have been coming here for years. And I always order the Super Club, but I will order something different soon, you will not be disappointed with the super club though. They offer great costumer service and the food is fresh, and tasty. I have to say: they have the best macaroni salad I have ever had. Way to go Minerva’s, I will definitely be coming back!

Okay, Minerva’s is the best restaurant ever. They have an amazing staff whose service is always on point. And their food is even better. Everything made from Scratch and I have had tried almost everything on their menu without ever getting disappointed. Go there now!

Fabulous find in Fremont. Wonderfully homemade fresh food. Pocket bread is phenomenal… simple, crispy & delicious! The people running the place are friendly and make everyone who comes in feel like family. My dad was raving about Minerva’s his entire visit & we had to go back before he left! Cookies are yummy too, the oatmeal raisin cranberry coconut are my favorite!

I’ve been going to this place since I was in elementary school. Despite changes to ownership this place has remained the same– great, friendly staff and customer service, tasty food, and a comfortable dining experience. Minerva’s Delight lunch special is a favorite, and more recently the BLAT salad. Their pita style bread is the best! I could probably eat lunch here everyday :)

Wow! This place is fabulous! Fantastic, homemade food and cheap! The grilled vegetable sandwich was delightful. A pita pocket crammed burstingly full of a large variety of vegetables. There was a sauce in it that gave it a slightly middle eastern profile. It was wonderful, and healthy to boot! Tasted like eating something your mom made for you. My friend had the Dijon Chicken and though I didn’t try any, I heard similar ravings. He was impressed by the perfect layering of ingredients. The potato salad was great as well. Normally when I eat potato salad, I can’t eat a huge amount because the flavors get too overwhelming, but the potato salad at Minerva’s was absolutely perfect. It might be the best potato salad I’ve ever had. Even if you didn’t see them making it behind the counter, you can tell it’s homemade. Huge, perfectly cooked chunks of potato and perfectly flavored. I could probably eat a gallon of the stuff… Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast, and I will come out of my way to grab lunch here!

I love this place. I have tried almost everything in here. If I come to Fremont, I usually make sure to come here before 10:30am for breakfast. I had veggie omelet today and it is the best omelet I ever had so far. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a nice breakfast or lunch in a friendly environment. A+++

Minerva’s has the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Their pita pocket bread is what makes their sandwiches unique. Each is stuffed with a balanced amount of meat, lettuce, and other goodies. I always get the submarine with potato salad as a side. Their potato salad is also the best potato salad I’ve ever had. It’s homemade and delicious. You really can’t go wrong with their sandwiches. Paired with a side, it’s a filling meal. Their décor is outdated, but I always get take out so it doesn’t bother me. This place should be more popular– it’s that good! Food: Delicious! Price range: ~$ 10 Service: Friendly Ambiance: Casual, quiet Décor: Outdated

This place has been an institution in the city of Fremont for as long as I can remember. So surprisingly, I finally stepped foot in this restaurant only yesterday, despite the fact that I went to school down the street from them for 9 years and I’ve always heard of their catering business. They’ve changed ownership, but I don’t know when that happened. All I know is that, WOW, I really enjoyed my meal. We all ordered sandwiches, which, by the way, aren’t your typical 2-pieces of bread run of the mill sandwiches. They are actually big pita pockets stuffed with whatever fillings you desire(that are listed on their menu). I got the linguisa in honor of my alma mater’s Portuguese heritage. I also got to try the crab salad sandwich and the pastrami, both of which were good as well. I just wish mines had more veggies in it(maybe served on the a side, so that they are cool and fresh instead of hot and soggy in the sandwich). There were a couple of tomato slices in there to keep my linguisa company, but come on, I need a lot more roughage to keep things a-movin’. The potato salad was delicious, but my opinion may be influenced by other Unilocal reviewers who report that it is made fresh. The potato salad definitely doesn’t taste like its store-bought out of a plastic container. The macaroni salad was good as well. Prices are in the $ 7 – 9 range, which is reasonable, especially when you’re thinking about getting a fast food meal. Just pay a couple extra dollars to get a healthier(errrr…relatively) and more satisfying lunch. We walked in to an empty restaurant but by the time we were finished the place was full. Minerva’s is not showing any signs of slowing down. I’m glad that I found a new food option! And it was right there all along!

When you’ve got something down, you’ve got something down. This place has the pita pocket sandwich market locked. While I’m dying to change the décor, there’s nothing else here I don’t like. Stacked sandos, infamous potato salad, salad bar o’ plenty, pita flatbread pizzas, fresh ingredients, friendly service… are you still reading this? Get in that car already and get your pita on.

The sandwiches here are delicious! the Pita is so crispy and nice to eat. I’ve had about 5 different sandwich fillings and I don’t know which is my favorite. The potato salad is wonderful. I enjoy supporting a local business. I did not give 5 star because the salad bar is so-so and it’s a bit expensive. I just bought a whole club sandwich and oatmeal cookie and the charge was $ 12.10. However, I can consider this two meals because of the quantity(including a large pickle and orange slice).

A great structure always starts with a great foundation, and boy are these pita pockets a hell of a foundation. Tip of eating here: JUSTGO! Its nearly impossible to beat a sandwich made on fresh baked bread, but they do by having the lovely mother of the house put her perfect touch on the portioning of everything in your sandwich. Plus their sides are great, wether it be macaroni or potato salad or their salad bar that they prep everyday, or even the seasonal fruit that they chop themselves. Don’t want a sandwich? Try a cheeseburger, or a pizza, both of which can be made on they’re delicious pita bread. Or come early enough and have flavor filled omelette. If your reading this in hopes of finding a good sandwich shop in fremont, my friend you have hit the motherload and found the best sandwiches in ALLOFFREMONT. So do yourself, and all the people of fremont, a favor, and TREATYOURSELF by eating here. Help keep this gem alive(not that they’re in dire need.) It’d be a sad day in fremont if Minerva’s were to close down.

I’ve been coming to Minerva’s since I was a kid. I try to come back at least a few times a year. I always forget how good their sandwiches are. They make their own fresh bread daily. I think that’s what adds to the sandwich. I often forget how good and big that they are. I ordered the super club with sprouts added. It comes with turkey, ham, and avocado. one thing that I like is they do not skimp on the avocado and its real avocado. Not avocado spread like some sandwich places use. This place will definitely have you leaving full! The ladies that work here are very nice and you can pre order and pick up if you don’t want to dine here.

This review is from a catered event. The pita sandwiches are delicious. Light bread and all the fixings. A great vegetarian option with sprouts and avocado. So good! Also, I’m not a fan of potato salads normally(besides my mother’s, of course). But this potato salad is so tasty. Not sweet at all(because I don’t like sweet potato salad) but very savory. Kind of makes me wish I lived closer!

Minerva’s is now my favorite local sandwich shop! I came here for the first time with my best friend when our lunch plans elsewhere didn’t work out. She raved about their pita pockets and initially I wasn’t thrilled. When I think of pita sandwiches, I think of that pre-packaged crap you’d find in the refrigerated aisle. I ordered the BLAT(bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) pita sandwich and my mind(and life) is forever changed! From what I’ve been told, what makes their bacon different is that they bake it instead of frying it which results is crispy bacon that isn’t too oily. The bread was fresh and held up well to the fillings. I was worried that the sandwich would be dry but it was pretty moist up until the last bite. I ordered a side of fries and they were perfectly crisp on the outside. Ask for a side of ranch and you’re good to go. The workers here are always friendly. It appears that they have some regulars here and I’m not surprised considering how good their food is. They also offer pizza and desserts. Maybe I’ll try them someday but for now I’m stuck on their BLAT. So crave-able and worth coming back for.
