Hrmm… $ 10 for a sandwich, plus another $ 2 – 3 for a soda. We’re not getting off to a good start here. There was only one lady working here when I came in for lunch on a Saturday, so the service was kinda slow. While at first glance, it looks like a run-down, miniature 7 – 11, there’s actually a small dining room off to the side, that is *exactly* reminiscent of somebody’s grandma’s house. The sandwiches only turned out to be OK… nothing special, and certainly not a great deal for the money. On the flip side, they’ve got a good selection of hard-to-find German groceries, like Glühwein or Spätzle!

Been going here before the intrawebs was even born. Love this place! Rita and the ladies there are always friendly and the sammiches are sooooooo good! I still can’t find a better Chicken Salad. I guess that’s why you have to get there early to get some! I shouldn’t have said anything because now I’ll never get any ;) Spent many days in the back on rainy days(remember those NorCal?) eating the homemade soups with a sandwich and then grabbing a little desert from the wide European assortment of delectables. Next time you’re in there, say«hi» to Rita for me! I’ve been away for a bit but I’M BACKNOW. Support local businesses and nice people. If you like a good deli sandwich, this is your place!

I’m giving this place one star because I will never come back here. The food is good but it is very expensive. My fiancé and I got two sandwiches and two drinks and the bill was $ 28. The price isn’t the reason why I won’t come here again. I will never come back here because the women that work here are very rude. It seemed like they were annoyed that they had customers in their store. My fiancé and I were waiting to order while one woman was making sandwiches. After a few minuets of waiting they woman making sandwiches came over to us and said ‘What do you want? I’m making sandwiches.’ We ignored her rude comment, ordered, paid, sat down and ate our food when it came to our table. I wanted to look at all of the cookies and sweets that they had in the small store. My fiancé and I were in one of the two isles of the store looking at sweets that I wanted to buy. One of the women that works here wanted to get past us and I didn’t notice her right a way. Instead of politely saying excuse me, she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at us. I was willing to spend more money in their store because I wanted to try some German sweets but the rude attitude of the women that work here made me leave without spending anymore money. I have never had such rude service in my life. I will never come back here again because of the way I was treated.
