Just went to Pure Salon for the first time. Looked up their reviews ahead of time and was very impressed by what other customers had to say about all the stylists. Initially I asked to be booked with Crystal, but they had no available appointments before Friday so they booked me with Lindsey. All I can say is that the experience was great! I told her about the history of my hair, she asked me what I wanted to do with the style, she gave me her recommendations which were informative and the results were amazing. I have viewed her work for color and cuts on Instagram and all I can say is that this girl knows how to do hair. She took a mess of a hairstyle and turned it into this sleek, beautiful style. Lindsey is a extremely talented stylist and I highly recommend her!

I was able to make an appointment within twenty minutes of calling in.
While waiting I wanted to see what other services they offered. Unfortunately their website on Unilocal and on their business card was not working as of June 11, 2016.
My hair stylist did a great job of cutting all my dead ends. Cut it exactly the way I wanted. Will definitely come back for my trim.

This is a long time coming! I went in to have my hair highlighted about a month and a half ago. I saw that Lindsey had good reviews so I went with it. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint! I thought I wanted a particular color of highlights, she had a different vision and reasoning behind it. She showed me some samples and we went with it. Let me just say, I love it! The cut to the color to the feel. I highly recommend Lindsey and her opinion, she does know what she’s doing.

I have been a client of Pure Salon for years and I continue returning because I absolutely love the services, I have never once left unsatisfied.
Kelsey, my esthetician is amazing! Thanks to her my eyebrows are always flawless. I tend to have a negative reaction after a waxing, (hives, redness, itching, etc…). Kelsey noticed it right away and offered an alternative product to prevent any discomforts. She is friendly and has a way to her that makes each facial and session relaxing and enjoyable. Getting a facial? Go see Kelsey!
Lindsay, my hair stylist. I can’t say enough about her. She is completely up to date with new hair techniques and styles, which can be difficult to find in a stylist now a days. She just recently did bayalage highlights on my hair and with her advice and guidance, my hair looks amazing. I recommend Lindsay. I have seen her work in other clients and just by seeing how great each of her clients looked I knew she was the stylist for me. Friendly, patient and talented. What more can I say?
Love Pure! The turnaround is not frequent which in my opinion speaks volumes of the salon!

I went in expecting a big change considering I was cutting of 14 inches of my hair, but I did not expect to leave so incredibly happy! I went into it knowing kind of what I wanted, but with Lindsey’s help/​advice/​magic I ended up feeling AMAZING! I’ve seriously never been so happy with my haircut and I can’t thank her enough. Lindsay is the best! She’s so sweet and hilarious! She always makes the experience fun! And let me tell you, she knows what she’s doing! Ive had some pretty bad experience before with other stylist but I know I can trust her to make sure my hair looks great! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Had my hair done by Adelaide Sousa and what a fabulous job. I got more complement. She is the best. She is my go to hair dresser. She will make you look special. I highly recommend her. Even my hair color turned out fabulous
I have been going to Pure for about 2 years now and I can’t say anything negative. All the girls are polite and very accommodating. They all get along great and help one another. I have seen so much fantastic styles and hair color go out that door. I am satisfied every time I come out of there. I even enjoy my cup of tea that I am offered each time I sit down. I was in town for a few days and in desperate need of a root & all over color touch up, I had put it off for far too long! I called the salon and was pleasantly surprised that they would be able to accommodate me as a new guest so last minute and got me in that same day.
Szekaio was my stylist and she was fantastic! She offered me water and we got started promptly. I provided her with a color formula to go off of from a different Aveda salon that I had been to and my hair turned out great, exactly how I wanted it to. I was most pleased with the blowout she finished with. I will definitely be coming back when I find myself in the area again!

Great quality hair cut– attention to detail. Solid 1.5 hours for wash cut and style. Great price for the value. Clean, modern, calm, trendy salon.

I notice a lot of reviews for Lindsay but I got to show some serious love for Ilyssa. I first starting going to Ilyssa when my previous Aveda stylist moved out of state and I was in need of someone to maintain my partial blonde highlights. After having the same hair color for 3 years I wanted a big change and asked Ilyssa to make me a red head! I absolutely loved the color but I’m the type of person who needs to wash my hair every day so unfortunately the color didn’t last very long. However, it did fade into a very pretty auburn color.
Just recently I wanted to try a balayage/​ombré for the summer season and Ilyssa did such an amazing job! I’m always getting compliments on how great it looks.
Ilyssa is always up for a challenge with my desire to always change my hair color while at the same time she maintains the health and strength of my hair. In addition, she is an absolute sweetheart and whenever I’m at the salon I always feel like I’m chatting with one of my girlfriends. Highly recommend booking an appointment with Ilyssa!

I don’t do reviews, so this will be the very first one I write. came in for a haircut by Lindsay, and it turned out the way I wanted! Really appreciate how she’d ask for your opinion before and during the cut, and really tries to do exactly what you want! Also liked how she took her time with me and did not rush through it. So she successfully took off all the dead-​ends without touching the length and giving me a new look! Will definitely consider getting some color work done by her as we get closer to summer! Today I got a balayage and trim on my hair by Lindsay. I came in ahead of time and got a semi consultation, which I recommend if you want to ensure you have enough time to have everything you want done on your hair.
My hair is extremely thick, even with it being thinned out a few weeks prior to me having it done today. But Lindsay worked in a timely considerate manner and was very thorough.
Some may find it very expensive, but I found it well worth it for the thoughtfulness, care, being plant based and eco friendly.
I plan on coming back here for whatever treatment I decide next and recommend to anyone else

I had a great experience with Lindsay she was very nice I loved having a conversation with her she smart and pretty and also she did a excellent job on my hair I love it I will come true her soon to do the second process to go lighter she knows what she is doing like I wanted go lighter but she told me to wait because I would have no hair lol but I definitely loved this place thank you

So happy I came to Lindsay! She gave me the most beautiful highlights and completely new color. The Aveda products made my hair feel like silk too! I will definitely be back!

I called for a last minute appt and they were able to fit me in for a haircut. Lindsay cut my hair. She did a great job, very happy with my hair!

I gave 5 starts to the place because is nice and clean but if there 10 starts I will give to my hairstyle Naydene. I went yesterday with my groupon that include hair cut and scalp massage! Naydene was really nice and sweet. She really dedicated in my hair talking to me the whole time, She made me feel really comfortable. She massage my hair really good but the way the aveda products are really good and what i like more is the smell all natural :). at the end Naydene did a really good job in my crazy curly frizzy hair. I ended buying a product over there. but what I love was the way Naydene treated me. Thank You

The Unilocal reviews seemed promising, but after my very mediocre experience I went back to check and found that most of the 5 star reviews were written by people that only have 1 – 2 reviews. Seems biased…
My actual experience:
I came in for a hair treatment. When I asked which one I should do, I was told the damage one. I later found out out of all the different treatments, I was given the most expensive one and was not given the full treatment that was described on the site (description included scalp massage + hand massage, I definitely didn’t receive a hand massage).
When I went to go pay, the person checking me out was going to charge me even more money for work I didn’t get done. Luckily I caught it in time and asked her why it was so expensive.
Overall the actual treatment + blow out was very mediocre. My hair came out very stringy. I asked for waves for the blow out, but my hair looks super flat and stringy.

I had a great experience here with Lindsay! She was so genuinely friendly and welcoming, even though I was a little nervous.
I have always loved Aveda products, and their plant based philosophy. Although my review is on the spa itself, I have used many of their products and my favorite is the Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioner. I just bought the color conserve, and am going to try the dry shampoo.
I hadn’t gotten my hair done in over a year, and did not know what to do with it. I made an appointment without knowing anything about her. When I told her I do not really know what to do about my hair, she knew just what to do! She brought me swatches, and specific pictures of hair that would look good with my skin tone. I was delighted to find out that she was such a knowledgeable and talented stylist! I ended up getting a color and cut, which I love!
I felt very comfortable here. The other stylists were friendly to me too, even though they weren’t working with my hair. It kind of felt similar to a girls day out, with cookies and mimosas! I wish I brought a friend!
Needless to say, I will definitely be back!

Yesterday was my first time going to a salon to get my hair professionally colored in a very long time and I couldn’t be happier with the results. All the stylists at this salon are so amazing and helpful. Lindsey was my stylist yesterday and she is absolutely wonderful! She colored my hair a beautiful «vintage purple» and I am so in love with it. Not only is she funny, but she is extremely talented at what she does. I am so happy I have finally found a great salon and stylist to color and cut my hair.

I’ve been here a couple of times now —
First time was 2 years ago, where I was trying it out for the first time. I had Sung as my stylist. At that time, I had longer hair and wanted it cut to a medium length with layers. She did exactly that, and it looked great.
Second time, I came in 2 weeks before my wedding last year and booked an appointment with Sung again. This time I just wanted a quick trim/​touch up, since I wanted my hair as long as possible, but just trim off the split ends and make everything look good. Unfortunately they do not have a separate price for trims, so I still paid for the full amount for a haircut.
Third time was a month after my wedding — I wanted the post wedding chop that most girls probably go through. Apparently Sung did not work there anymore, so I went with Crystal. I was a bit nervous because I’ve usually kept my hair medium-​long my whole life, but I wanted something new/​short. She suggested an A-​line cut. I trusted her judgement and went with it, and it turned out great! I had long enough hair to donate 10 inches, so that was nice too. I also changed my bangs from my usual side sweep to straight bangs. They were super cute, but I’m very low maintenance (I like to roll out of bed in the morning, run a brush through my hair, and go) so that was a bit too much work. After keeping the bangs for 2 months, I grew it back out again.
4 months after that, my hair was in that awkward stage between short and medium. I decided that while the short hair was cute, it’s too much maintenance for me. I decided to have it cut again in layers, so that it will grow out nicely. I went back to crystal again, who did a great job. I also decided that I wanted to try coloring my hair the first time. I knew I wanted a balayage or ombré — basically something that’s not too crazy and is once again, low maintenance. Crystal handed me over to Abby, who I think does the hair coloring. She recommended the balayage, and helped me choose a color that would look natural, which I stressed. During the whole procedure she was very helpful in explaining what she was doing, since this was my first time getting my hair colored. She also recommended me some hair products to use in order to protect the color as much as possible. I LOVED it! In the picture, it’s a bit harder to see since it was taken the same day and indoors, but it’s a dark brown that’s very natural looking. It lightened up a bit over the next few weeks, but still looks great. Now that it’s about 6 months later, it’s grown out great and still looks fantastic. I will definitely be going back for my next cut, but that probably won’t be for a while since I’m planning to grow my hair out long. Minus one star because the place is pretty pricey — you can definitely find better prices elsewhere, but so far I am happy with the services.
