I haven’t had any bad experiences with this place. I had ordered the thin crust veggie pie, cheesy bread and a regular pan pizza, and one with pepperoni and mushrooms. We also had gotten a great deal on them! There was a special deal if the Yankees won so everything was 50% off!!! Cannot go wrong with that! Delivery was fast. Overall, i had a great experience! I recommend to others.

We ordered from here all the time. But today was the last day. We had already eaten two slices of the pizza, and I went to eat another one, but I seen something under the cheese. It was a hair. And not one from your head. It was melted into the cheese. We of course couldn’t finish the pizza which was not even half eaten, and we will never order from here again. Absolutely disgusting. I noticed that I had posted this review along with a picture from a previous account, oops!

Placed an order and was told it would take an hour. Contact the location to check on order an hour and 20 minutes later and was told that the driver was on his way and would be there shortly. 25 minutes pass so contact the store again. Spoke to a different employee who stated that my delivery was listed incorrectly as a carryout but the driver was leaving and so would receive my order in 5 – 7 minutes. 25 minutes from the last phone call I called back to cancel the order as I still had not received my delivery. At 10:50 while laying in bed and ready to fall asleep, my doorbell rings and of course, it’s my pizza order that I had canceled 20 minutes before. I find it problematic that I’m getting different answers from each person I spoke to. There was incorrect information given to me simply to appease me which only made the situation worse. This location needs to learn how to be honest about expectations so people like me are not kept up late waiting on food when I could have found another option. This is not the first time that I have experienced terrible service from this location. I will no longer frequent this location and as it’s the only one that delivers to my area, this probably means that I won’t frequent Papa Johns anymore and will become a Dominos customer.

I wanted to update my review — I’ve ordered several times since and it has always been brought right to my door. Last time it got here in less than 20 minutes. Trust and business restored. I love your pizza — thank you.

I’m never ordering here again. There are better pizzas in the neighborhood, and this is not it. What happened was that I ordered two boxes of pizza online, and when I finally got them, to my shock, I found the garlic sauces in each box were opened all the way. With a closer look, I noticed that one slice was placed back in after being detached. This made me lose my appetite. I immediately called to say what happened, and was rudely dismissed saying that they will fix it… they never did. I submitted a complaint explaining the problem and have not gotten a response. Whenever I call Papa John’s they’re always rushing to get off the phone. What’s the deal? Never again. Anyway, I don’t trust the workers here. If you go to the establishment, you can see them goofing around in the back and sitting on the tabletops which probably explains the overcooked parts of the pizzas and breadsticks and cheesesticks in the past. They’ve also messed up with giving the right soda. I’m not sure if the delivery guys are lazy or what, but every time they make up excuses to try and get away with not bringing the food to my door. Another thing I noticed is that Papa John’s stopped including plates and napkins. I don’t mind that so much, but the parmesan cheese packets & pepper flakes packets, which used to come free aren’t free anymore. The worst thing is that the pizzas became significantly smaller, so a «Large Pizza» looks more like a medium. It doesn’t help that they are very stingy with toppings.

Most of the staff here are nice and well-mannered. They never screwed up any of my pizza orders but have given me the wrong soda. I think it’s weird they don’t have plates and napkins and are seriously cheap with the pepper flake packets. Maybe that’s just a Papa John’s thing?

Papa johns better ingredients, better pizza, but epically bad service. I nominate the workers of this store as the laziest people in the world. They take not caring to the next level. The customer service is so bad it is actually sadistic. I would rater spend a day at the dmv than to have to deal with these guys. If you are the owner of this franchise, congrats! You are truly a bad person. This has got to be the worst papa johns in the world. The management refuses to fix any issues. Drivers are also lazy as hell. On a recent order a driver told me that I had to come outside to pick up my order. He said he was already out there and he was not allowed to deliver to my door, despite the fact that just 3 days earlier another driver had no issue bringing my pizza to my door. I used my credit card and had already put a tip on the card($ 5 on a $ 14 dollar bill), thus he wasn’t interested in providing any service whatsoever. It was raining pretty hard that day, and I did not want to go outside, which is why I ordered delivery. I had a bad ankle and was trying to take it easy for the night. So despite my effort to avoid putting stress on my ankle, I went downstairs to get the pizza. When I made it outside, the guy wasn’t there. 10 minutes later he pulled up and honked his horn, like a redneck does when he is picking up his date. He didn’t even want to leave his car, but why would he? He already had his money. So after shelling out more than $ 2 for a delivery fee and $ 5 for a tip I had to walk out in the rain on a bad ankle to get my pizza. When I called the store to complain, they just hung up on me or put me on an endless hold. Thus I called the 800 number. They promised a response within 72 hours. After a week I had not received a call. I called back customer service and they sent another email. Another week later nothing. The 3rd time i called i demanded to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with Terry in the Memphis customer service office(what a good guy) and he promised me that I will get a response by next Friday, but I seriously doubt it. The owner of this franchise gas got to be either lazy, stupid, or a pompous ahole. Moral of the story is don’t tip in advance or you will be given horrible service. Also management is a complete joke.

The food is awesome but there customer service sucks. My fiancé had ordered food and he is disabled the driver called him and was fighting him to go down stairs and get the food mind you he is unable to. After 5 mins of arguing the driver finally walked up one flight of stairs and gave it to him. I called and complained to the manager and they didn’t do anything about it. I also emailed the company and nothing was done. This happens all the time with this location they expect you to meet them in the lobby. If I wanted to leave my apt to get food I would have picked it up. Not to mention we pay a delivery charge for a reason the least you can do is at least walk it up the stairs.

I’m not the biggest papa johns fan in the world, but I do like feasting on this from time to time. Place seems pretty clean and organized. No seats, this is a take out only type place. Dudes at the counter are super dry, like robotish. I consider myself to be pretty friendly, so dryness is weird to me. Don’t remember them ever messing up my order so I’ll let them slide on the tightness…(sometimes we make large orders for office birthdays). Food is good, fresh and hot. Doesn’t really take that long, think its like 10 minutes. Wings are the bomb here! I do think papa johns is kind of pricey for what seem to be more comparable to dominos type pizza. My honey rather skip this place and go to pizza hut. No parking at this spot… its on union turnpike. They deliver and they take credit card. *TIP– they have online only deals, so make sure you send your order in thru there website. *TIP #2– there’s an awsum liquor store across the street, great wine selection!(just saying)

Woh! Four stars for a restaurant chain? You got that right! I’m not saying that PJ’s pizza is the epitome for true New York pizza because well, we all know that chain restaurants crank out products like an assembly line. There’s a formula(‘recipe’) for everything they make, down to the T. There’s no ‘eye-balling’ amounts, though one would surely find plus or minus of toppings when pies arrived, depending on the generosity of the ‘chefs’(probably high school-age employees) in the kitchen. But I must congratulate this location because the staff is friendly and helpful. I placed an order online, but decided to make some changes immediately, so I called up and they were willing to accomodate my needs. I opted for carry out and the pizza was ready when I arrived. There was service with a smile. I was almost made to believe that the staff is happy to be there(maybe so). The pizza is as expected — generic crust, imitation cheese, dry pepperoni slices and canned pineapple bits. The slices will fill you up, just don’t expect any nirvana moments. But when factoring in convenience, good customer service, and hot foods, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, a la Aristotle.

I’ve never actually been inside this establishment. I’ve only ordered online, with the order fulfilled by this location. The service is quick and the food is delivered hot! It is easy to order online and you can expect your delivery within 30 – 45 mins. While the food is probably not the healthiest for you, it tastes delicious, especially with the garlic butter dipping sauce! Certainly a guilty pleasure :)

their pizza tastes wayyy better than dominos. it’s thicker too, than the thin slices you get from local pop shops. ive been ordering from dominos and ordering from papa johns reminded me why pizza is awesome. plus delivery is on time and delivery guy is courteous too.

The delivery is on time, plus you get garlic sauce and pepper on the side, you won’t get that from dominos or pizza hot.

Better deals and pizza then Dominos. This place is horrible for pick up because they always forget things or get the order wrong. They got my dads order wrong last time, so we got a free extra pizza so that’s a plus! A crazy homeless lady also started yelling at me today when I came with my lovely bf to pick up a pizza on the way home. It is highly suggested that you order a pizza online as to avoid traffic, smelly homeless ladies, and noticing they forgot something after you get home.

It’s hard to review pizza-chain store because the taste of pizza is all same. So I will try to review on other points. The taste of the pizza is a bit better than the Dominos. People don’t usually eat the side of pizza, but they give you garlic sauce so that you can dip your bread and eat it. Nice touch! Plus, pickled pepper! Delivery! Way faster than the Dominos. It took only 30 minutes! Dominos? Usually 50 — over 1 hr! I can’t wait for 1 hr to eat pizza! The website is better too! You can fill in the tip field when you order online, so you don’t have to calculate tip when your delivery driver got to your place. Dominos out! Papa Johns is now my pizza delivery place!
