staff is very neutral, they do not engage customers, in fact you cannot even tell if they are employees as they do not wear red mango uniforms. currently they are have a rating of «B» from the health department. i walked up to counter, i was not greeted, person behind counter mumble something and I gave him my order. i didn’t see anyone using gloves or hair nets when they go into the fruit buffet to scoop up the topping for each yogurt. the windows at the front of the store were so dirty I could see smudges. tables were clean but the counter were the register is located seem worn out and outdated. i been coming to this store for a few years and staff has changed very often. its a shame because they have a very good product but this specific store lacks consistency and cleanliness.

This place is filthy. The restroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, no usable soap. The sight of it made me physically ill. Imagine the filth on the hands of the employees.

The worst customer service. This red mango location is to open at 11am. Time passed and it was already 11:08am. Is the store open? NO. Finally the employees come in to open at 11:10am. I follow in after them and the male employee lets me know that they are not open yet. I ask how long it’ll take and he says 20 minutes.
If you are the opening shift employees, shouldn’t they have arrive prior to 11AM and set up the store so that everything would be ready by 11AM for the customers? The factor of the employees attitudes also didn’t help. I’ve never seen such laziness at a store.

Terrible customer service. Everything is perfectly fine except customer service.
Oh mann. The workers here are all lazy, rude, unfriendly except for the manager.
Some girl was rolling her eyes while taking A customer order who were infront of us.
The one in steinway has better service and its clean. Staff are cool and friendly.

Terrible customer service. The person working there was on the phone the whole time and didn’t even speak to me or greet anyone.
I asked a question which went unanswered because she didn’t even hear me over her headphones.
Will not go here again — no wonder the place was completely empty.

I come here probably twice a month or so. The yogurt is good, but they always have the same three to four flavors, even when new ones are being advertised on the walls. The smoothies aren’t that great, doesn’t taste like anything special and I don’t think the blenders work very well, there are always big chunks left over.
I think my biggest issue is the place itself. It is HOT in there. Doesn’t matter if it’s 90 degrees outside, you walk in there and there is no air-conditioning at all. I’ve walked right out a couple of times because there’s no way you can stand in there and order. If you do decide to stay, the seating is limited and crammed together.
For the yogurt itself is give 3.5 stars, but everything else takes the overall to two.

This red mango location is the best! Whenever we want red mango, we come here! The staff is always friendly and they are generous with the portions. They have no problem giving you tasting of the different flavors and is patient for you to make up your mind. My favorite is the berry parfait!

So I feel a little silly leaving a review for a chain since you’d expect them to all be the same, but this location is pretty stand-out. We will drive out of our way to go to this location (past Fresh Meadows and Bell Blvd) because they consistently offer new flavors that I’ve never had before. Taro is always winner and tonight I just had their new Pistachio flavor. Staff comes out all the time from behind the counter to greet us and offer us samples and flavor recommendations. Parking is abundant in the back and it’s easy to get to as well.

I just stopped by red mango to grab some yogurt. And upon arrival I was met with a long line, which isn’t that bad … I thought my experience would be bad because this red mango is known for the bad customer service and bad environment but luckily this time I was served by a worker named Johnathan. Not only is he fast and efficient but talks with a proper tone towards me and the customer after me … I observed that both him and his co worker both are hard workers and make a great representation of the store and I truly feel different about this store now.

New to the area and wanted to try out some Froyo! I wish I could love this place because I love Froyo so much and go to Pinkberry every time I’m in NYC, that place is amazing.
This place is not. Only a few flavors, all pretty boring, and not too many toppings. At least they have mochi. I only got 6 toppings and my total was way over what I would ever pay at Pinkberry for a good sized cup of Froyo mixed with a good variety of flavors and topped to the brim with toppings. Also, one of my toppings was still frozen, the Strawberries, which really made them taste bad. The yogurt it self was fine but lacking.
Customer service was fine, the guy was nice to me and that’s the only reason this place gets two stars, hah!

Although the girl was very sweet, how can they not have the basic fruit? The mango looked old and pineapple was Def from. a can, I know fresh from. a can lol… tables were also observed in being dirty. AND I JUST SAW A HAIR ON THE BOTTOM OF MY PARFAIT???

Normally this place is great, but today I went inside to relax and charge my phone. I was going to get something, but decided on waiting a bit to see if my friends were gonna get something also. One of the workers there is a fucking dick. Some Asian dude with glasses (yeah not really specific but fuck it), nigga basically kicks us out, says some shit like «being disrespectful, using our electricity» etc. yeah I get that I should’ve probably bought something first, but this nigga ain’t never greet us the moment we walked in, he Deadass just sitting down on his phone. Do your fuckin job man and let a nigga take some time to decide if he wanna eat some fuckin yogurt. Don’t decide to do your job by being rude as fuck and kick us out without letting me decide if Ima get something.

They have a lot of choices never a really long line. Place is frequented with college kids, prices are decent, good parking and shopping nearby. The staff is friendly and accommodating and they’re very clean. Not enough sitting area and no WiFi otherwise, gold stars across the board.

I came here a couple times since it is nearby STJ as well as the amc theater.
Everytime I went, it was busy but the staff were so helpful and friendly. They were attentive and asked me if I wanted to try a couple of the flavors before I actually bought to froyo. Although it isn’t self-serve like the other red mango stores, it doesn’t really bother me as much. They don’t have mochi (boo!) but they have mini gummy bears + strawberries which I love.
I once took my nephew and one of the staff was really nice to him which I appreciate. That one time I went at 11AM, and we were the only customers there. My nephew went up to the cashier and showed the staff his lego car. My nephew was thrilled because he showed much interest to him, which I give much kudos to! (Thanks!)
There is PLENTY of parking and it is also right next door to starbucks!
