Horrible food and horrible service. Young Latina girl with braces was very rude and paid no attention to our table. Only one other patron in the restaurant and they tried accusing them of not paying for their meal and took a back and forth amongst employees to realize they did in fact pay already.

Stay away!!! Eggs were scrambled on the grill so they were in little pieces and they were over cooked. Pancakes were tough around the edges which tells me that they made them earlier in the day. And the French toast had runny goop in the middle, probably raw egg. We only took two bites out of that garbage and we got the hell out of there. We didn’t even pay and neither should you.

Came in to try the place out and it was okay. I order mad the«Kountry Scramble» and I got the«Pancake sandwich» from the kids meal for my son. The scramble was ok(nothing special about it but it tasted pretty good). The service was okay and the food came out in about 15 minutes. The tables are really sticky, they should fix that. The prices are fair too. I’d go back if I was in the area and wanted breakfast food.

I really wish I had checked into Unilocal before coming to this location, I have been going to BJs for years but never this location. I assumed it would be good as I’ve never been disappointed coming to BJS. I should have known the moment we walked through the door to just turn out and leave, the server brought us to our sticky table(so disgusting) didn’t say ill be right with you or anything. After almost 10 minutes and him walking right past us back and forth helping the other people, I had said lets just leave and the lady cleaning the table next to us said what can I get you to drink so I felt stuck. We ordered our drinks, my daughter looks forward to the chocolate milk because the other location puts whip and sprinkles. Here they didn’t of course. The waiter finally comes to take our order & put the notepad on our table and just starts writing(very unfriendly) the food took a while and was not hot when it came out. The pancakes are so thin, nothing like the other locations. All around we were just disgusted and disappointed. Then they have family come in and they are all friendly to them even the cooks come out and they are all talking in Spanish, they don’t once come by and ask how everything is. DONOTEATHERE! It’s awful

Place is filthy. Food was bout as good as if id gone to mcdonalds. The waiter, a young kid was actually ruined it all for me. He made no eye contact and when, mumbled the entire time, and when we asked him to repeat what he just said he got very bent out of shape and yelled what he had said again. Seriously??? Dont go here. Its horrible!!!

You can go to the bathroom to wash your hands but as soon as you sit back down in your booth you think you’ll have to go wash your hands again

For a few years now, I had been wanting to try this place but they always close early so I never had the chance until today. The décor was ok, since I came on 4th of July they decorated a few of the booths. The booth we were sat at, I immediately noticed how sticky it was. It was like a residue or just syrup that wasnt cleaned off correctly off the table. The menu was pretty average for breakfast. Omelets, pancakes, and scrambled eggs. Not a surprise. The service was poor. A young boy in perhaps his mid teens did not greet us or anything really. He just dropped off the menus and left. I was so excited to try this place. I did not refer to the previous Unilocal reviews. Big mistake. I am not kidding. Every poor star rating review, was right. From the poor service to the bland food and to the chit chatting of the employees… which we would later understand that they are all related and perhaps parents run the restaurant and the kids serve. The food was flavorless. I was just eating flour with cheap syrup on top. The biscuits and gravy were disgusting. To top it off, I will not return. This is located in an amazing part in Fresno but the restaurant is not living up to it’s potential.

Has been a while since we have been to this location and what a shock. As you walk up the front glass door is broken and they did not even have it taped up, covered or anything. We noticed there were very few customers which was red flag one. The décor is ???, they were playing music from the eighties and some R&B. a very rude Hispanic lady rudely seats us at a sticky table. We went to clear the stuff out of the way and there was a very nasty basket of little containers from dollar tree(I know, I bought a pack of them for my shop) with what must be jelly. When I went to move the basket, the basket stuck to my fingers it was so dirty and had to pull my hand off. I saw the containers had stuff all over them and just looked gross. We should of left then but regretfully we stayed. The same rude lady came up and was just rude, and not just to us, she was very loud and rude to everyone. By how she was twitching, doing her mouth, constantly messing with her nose, and just how she was acting was screaming meth user. We proceed to order and we made sure to order nothing that required jelly. I got the sausage and eggs with biscuit and grave since Bj’s always had good ones. My wife order the French toast with an extra egg(total of 3 eggs) and extra crispy hash browns. I was just looking around and saw signs posted above the booths saying«all food orders are final and no money will be refunded». That was another red flag and we should of hit the door but no, we stuck around. As we wait for our food we keep hearing the rude waitress yelling to the person cooking repeatedly. I got my food first which looked ok, but she forgot my biscuits and gravy. When she did bring it out to me it wasn’t biscuits and gravy, it was a muffin looking thing(you can tell it was cooked in a cup cake pan). It was really dense and the gravy was not what I remembered from BJ’s, it was blah. Then my wife’s food finally came out and the waitress just plopped the plate on the table and walked off. My wife’s «extra crispy» hash browns were not even cook all the way and had barely any browning on them. Her three eggs she ordered they brought out one egg. And her three slices of French toast were sad, very very sad looking. They were scrawny, one piece was the butt end and all three pieces were burnt on one side that they tried to hide by putting burnt side down. The bread looked like dollar tree bread. My wife had to get up and look for the«waitress» to complain and she looked baffled and was to busy twitching and messing with her nose to listen. She took the plate and said she would fix it and then proceeds to start yelling to the«cook» that the lady wants another egg and her has brown cooked more. Well the plate came back and they had put another egg on her plate but the hash brown were not fixed and there now was two eggs, what happened to the third egg. My wife told the waitress again and before she grabbed the plate my wife held the plate and said no, I’ll just keep it this way. I don’t want to wait another ten min for an egg. The waitress grumbled something as she walked off and went back yelling at the chef again. We ate only a small portion of the food and just decided to pay and leave. When we went to pay they tried to charge for the three eggs which the wife got only two. When the wife pointed it out the lady did not know what to do, and explained how bad the meal was we got no discount, no apology, and she did not even respond about it. She just kept trying to figure out our ticket until She had to call the loud, rude and twitchy waitress over to explain. After about five min I just said I would pay just to get out of there. This is the first time I can ever remember not leaving a tip. We got into the car and the wife called a different location and she got the number to the owners of Bj’s to complain. Come to find out they had franchised out the Blackstone location and get complaints constantly about it. We drove by this location weeks after and the front door is still broken and not dealt with at all. So apparently they don’t care about the safety’s of the customer.

Horrible service! Waited over 1.5hours for my food… Many customers walked out and didn’t wait for the food… Waitress even said thank you for waiting, since we had waited the longest for the food… Never again will I step into this restaurant

Every employee here must hate there job, didn’t see one smile, and everyone was rude. Service was horrible and for a place that boasts biscuits and gravy they were not very good. Save yourself some time and aggravation and go somewhere else. Worst experience ever!!!

Oh my god!!! $ 30 plus dollars for two? One omelette basic, she my wife asked for no hash browns or toast, charged full price, coffee, mine veg omelette, hash browns, I asked for sourdough toast butter side, my wife was horrified by the oily taste of hers, mine was good on the inside, but the cheap white cheese used on top was horrible, stringy, chepo. My toast and I am used to two large pieces cut in half, was two small ends, felt and tasted as it was heated in an oven, no toasting. Coffee was good, but the little containers of jelly and God knows what else it was, would not trust someone had already used. This place used to be top tier, I think someone has taken this place over and probably cutting corners to save money. As you can see I am not a complainer as per my other posts, but when I get spanked for that much dough for a zero star breakfast I feel cheated. The bathrooms were very clean, but I think a total and full remodel, meaning take everything out of this flintstone era place, burn it, and start fresh, and bring in a hostess and bring in Sandy from Jus Joe’s in Clovis to run it!

I came here with my mother she has never been here before and was craving breakfast. As we entered we were greeted by a little Latina lady who scurried us to a table and gave us menus with oatmeal and syrup on them. I ordered raspberry tea my mother ordered coffee. As we got our drinks my mothers coffee cup had lipstick all over it it was disgusting. We ordered our meal and it tasted like it came from a box. How do you mess up bisquits and gravy? The food tasted horrible. We will never be coming back here. We got a bill just shy of $ 24 and we barley ate anything. Save your money, this place has gone downhill. It’s a shame.

It appears this BJ’s is under new management or may have been sold to another owner. It has totally changed for the worse. Gone is the hustle and bustle of a busy greasy spoon. In its place is an older hispanic lady who is possibly the least friendly«hostess» I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. I won’t go into all the things that were wrong with our last two visits. If you don’t believe me and you need convincing, just take a peek back at the kitchen area before you sit down. I guarantee that’ll be enough to make you want to leave. No professional restaurant kitchen looks like that. It didn’t used to be this way. This place is now being run so poorly it’ll become a liability for what remains of the other BJ’s locations.

BJ’s is probably my favorite breakfast little chain in town. This location is closest to my house so it has become my new regular location. On their good days, this place deserves 5⁄5 — no question about it. The food is so freaking good, the service is fast. But sometimes(and more frequently I’ve noticed) there’s a different cook back there and the wait staff all look at you like you’re stupid. The other day this lady snapped her fingers in my face to tell me to hold on. I think that’s a little too on the kountry charm for me.

WHY, O WHY did I fail to check Unilocal first! Never again. I’m giving it two stars because I actually ate the meal and kept it down. See Photo attached of Huevos Rancheros con Agua(unappetizing watery residue not readily absorbed by Cowboy Potatoes. Real Cowboys would’ve lynched this cook long since. Bare wood tabletops have an unsettling sticky finish to them reminiscent of spilled imitation maple syrup.

Bad service, ok food. Despite waiting 20 minutes to have our order taken(and the restaurant was less than half full), there was a giant chunk of plastic in my omelet. No wonder there is a sign in every booth stating«no refunds on food». They were very attentive about refilling coffee. Then, after being brought a box for our leftovers, it was 20 minutes and we hadn’t gotten a bill. And we couldn’t find any wait staff to ask for one. The patrons at various booths were all discussing the same thing. So we went up to the register and asked for our tab. We stood another 10 full minutes at the register while the cashier was off looking for our server! A line amassed behind us while we waited to be attended to. The constant clattering of plates in the kitchen was louder than I’ve ever experienced. And a poster at the register advertises bringing your mom in for«Mother’s Day 2009»… 5 years ago!!! Bad experience all together.

1. Worst customer service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Server looked unhappy and tired. 1. THEREWAS A BABYCOCKROACHINMYOMELETTE. My meal should have been comp’ed but instead was re-cooked. 2. Took a long time to get our drinks(another table seated after us got their FOOD before we got our BEVERAGES). 3. We asked to move to another table(we were seated in front of the bathroom door) and were told there was no where else to go, even though there were two visible empty tables and an entire wing of the restaurant available. 4. While I was paying my bill, the server walked away from me without excusing herself and did not return. In the middle of a transaction. 5. My friend’s hamburger patty was tasteless, unseasoned and not grilled. She said it looked like it was boiled in water. I’ve worked in customer service for years and years and am usually very forgiving… this was unforgiveable and I will NEVER come back to this BJ’s KK. The location on Cedar/Herndon is waaaaaaaay better in every way.

Had to Waite over 40 min. for our food and they served three other tables that came after us. I had a vegetarian omelet and a ham&cheese omelet. Never brought me my gravy for my biscuits and gravy. Should have taken 20 – 25 min max.

This place was so bad that Im sitting here at the table writing this review as I eat their food. The food was plain. It cost $ 10 for 3 pieces of french toast and an egg and some sausage. Other places charge this and you get potatoes and toast and what not. The service sucked. Waitress was rude. Dropped off the bill without saying anything probably 5 mins after she brought the food. Found fuzzy lint on my eggs which i avoided… my bf loves biscuits and gravy and took one bite and left it alone with disgust… Also it was just two small biscuits… You can go to Black Bear Diner and get 4 big bomb biscuits for 99 cents! brough refils over while on the phone arguing with some sort of family member… do not come here waste of time money and gross food… blaahhhhhhhh.
