I’m biased. This is my old Kung-Fu School and therefore, I love it. It’s been a while since I’ve practiced but my Sifu taught me well enough to remember most of what I remembered from when I was high school and I’m now in my mid-20s, that says something about their teaching, correct? What I really love about the school is that there is a variety of things that you can do. The base of school is grounded in Longfist Kung-Fu. However, they also teach mantis, hung gar and northern shaolin styles as you advance. Also, you are taught chin na techniques which are used in Chinese Police training. If you’re interested in something else, you can try out kickboxing. Do not do this if you’re looking for the typical and trendy«aerobic kickboxing». Sifu will not take it easy on you, guy or girl, young or old. He will train you as he trains everyone else. I appreciate this, you may not. However, he gets results as he has trained many kickboxing champions at his gym. Finally, there is the Lion Dance and Performance team. You’ll learn exotic weapons(chain whip, horsecutter, etc) and be taught all the elements of a traditional Chinese Lion Dance. It’s definitely a lot of fun and if you put in enough effort you will be rewarded by being able to travel the central valley during Chinese New Year and perform at various shops and stores to bless them for the new year. I have many fond memories of learning Kung-Fu with Sifu Cho and if you’re interested in a different type of martial arts experience then I certainly recommend you take classes here. And if you have a kid, you’re child will be in class with the mother of yours truly!
