I hardly ever write reviews but I’m hoping the owner of this deli d sees this. I go to deli d a lot for sandwiches and I seriously cannot remember the last time this location got my sandwich right. Every single time they get my order wrong. We ya e even ordered sandwiches at my office and every time they get someone’s order wrong. Today was the last time I will be visiting this location. Mind you I ordered online so how hard is it to get a sandwich right? You guys are going to looker a lot more loyal customers if you do not fix this problem because I know several people who feel the exact way I do.

So I think the manager at the store at the time here makes a huge difference. 3 weeks ago there was a lady manager who burnt the bread, and added onions and wax peppers when I clearly said not to. However today there is an older gentleman manager and my sandwich was amazing and exactly how I ordered it! It was soooo good. So I guess it’s a hit and miss, but worth trying again :)

I was skeptical of this place at first, but after seeing my order face to face my first impressions were… «wow, these sandwiches are nicely wrapped and look tasty.» I was surprised that my sandwich didn’t completely fall apart while I was eating it unlike what happened at that ‘other sandwich place’. There are a variety of sandwiches to choose from which is nice (there is also a vege-​sandwich). The large size is actually two medium sandwiches so beware if you have a small stomach. ;) I’ll definitely be dropping by again.

Today, I ate the most delicious barbecue sandwich. The sauce was very tasty and they were quite generous with it as well as the chicken. It really hit the spot! Deli delicious sure does give you your monies worth for the quantity of the ingredients they give. The quality of their sandwich is also top notch. I have been eating at deli delicious for over 13 years and I love it!

This location is notorious for messing up your order. Every. Single. Time. Without fail. I only go back out of desperation because it’s so close to my work. Just make sure you check your order.

Not bad… not great. It’s ok! For me personally, they need to serve french fries like other locations :) the #21 needs more flavor… salt and pepper would make this sandwich better. They just slap everything together. Nice people and quick service experience!

I was really looking forward to a sandwich. I have eaten at this location in the past and considered it a good consistent sandwich. But today… Man, it was a customer service nightmare. I don’t like raw onions, I order a #9 no onions or wax peppers. My sandwich had onions. After one bite I sent it back. The guy making the sandwich said” it doesn’t have onions give it back” I said «it does I know what onions taste like» he rolled his eyes and told someone to make another sandwich. This one had onions too. Clearly the problem was the lettuce (located next to the onions) had onions draped into them. The manager cannot take suggestion or criticism when I said «maybe you should move the onions over a few spaces» she rolled her eyes and walked away. I won’t eat there any time soon again bad guest service! They deserve the 1 star.

What a terrible experience. I went to
Order my sandwiches and when I got to the sides, they didn’t have any soups, potato and/​or macaroni salad. They said that they never carry them… Only chips. Then we ordered a green salad and they did not have blue cheese dressing. I couldn’t believe it. I asked them if they just opened and they said no. What horrible service. I asked the lady to inform her manager to put a notice up to inform customers of what items they don’t carry before anyone orders.

I really like the staff here everyone is always friendly and their sandwiches are always great! This location is really close to my office and I would frequent more except it does take a bit for your order at lunch time. I would give them 5 stars if they were a little faster :)

Friendly staff, tons of sandwich choices. Lunch hours are really busy, just be prepared for it. I usually go with the #26. Don’t listen to the «babies» in some of these reviews either. And please don’t compare a mom and pop deli to a chain. A mom and pop deli or store will usually always beat a chain, that’s not the point. Compare apples to apples.

Deli Delicious is a pretty decent sandwich place. It’s a little pricey for what you get but the sandwiches are really good. I’ve never had a problem with the service at this location. They’ve always been friendly and quick.

The sandwiches are great but you pay more for the quality. Trying to call an order for pickup is terrible. I called four times letting it ring for at least a minute each and no one ever picked up. Why offer this service if you are going to ignore the phone?

I really don’t know what other people are expecting or what kinds of ‘flavor’ they are looking for in a sandwich but Deli Delicious has great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. The sandwiches available vary, so there are lots of options. The bread, produce, meat and cheese used in the sandwiches is great, especially compared to subway. The bread is always fresh, and can be toasted. The service is always friendly, and I have never had an issue on waiting for a sandwich. They do have pick up orders, so that may delay any dine in orders, but its not that big of a deal because the sandwiches are being made, FRESH. I eat here on a regular basis, and will continue to do so.

Due to a recent experience, the health department had to come out and do an inspection at this location. It turned out the employees weren’t washing their hands properly before preparing food. In many cases, the same person who took money/​credit cards then went and prepared your food.
I’m sure they’re going to receive regular inspections from now on but I will no longer be returning here.

I don’t see how these Deli Delicious locations got best deli awards in Fresno, because I went there and the sandwich tasted blah. It wasn’t any different from what I could get elsewhere. The price was outrageous for what I got. Another deli sandwich place has just as fresh of ingredients as Deli Delicious does, and costs much less. I seriously thought while walking in that this place would be comparable to a deli like Piemonte’s. Deli Delicious may have developed an upscale image, but the taste and value sure is much to be desired. It seriously needs its own flavors to distinguish it from others.
Update:
I would like to have the pricing lower by $ 1 to $ 2 would be about right. I have recently gotten the Live Discounts Card (search for it on Google) and it gives a free soda or chips when buying the small sub ($ 5.99). So when using this discount card, it makes it a better value.

Still waiting for my sandwich (its been over 10 minutes) 4 men working, 4 tables being occupied by patrons eating. Ridiculous… never coming to this one again, these guys work at a snails pace.
