Kristen makes a wax feel like a massage. Ok, well, as close to a massage as a wax could ever possibly be! She’s friendly, personable, sweet, fast, thorough, and she has reasonable fees. I’ve never been disappointed!

This is not really a review of the salon, which was busy and pleasant. That’s all I know about it. Went there to see someone I’d been referred to, Jerry Dayton, not realizing he just rents a chair there. I have no idea how good or bad a stylist he may be, because from the first phone call to before the first cut, he was so relentlessly rude and unpleasant, that I finally got out of the chair, threw the wrap at him, called him a really not-​nice name and left. What I meant to say to him was: You are an arrogant, ridiculous, rude prick. You’re a hairdresser in FRESNO pulling down 30 bucks a head for god sake. Get OVER yourself.

I LOVE GILBERT!!! He is the absolute best hair stylists if you want your hair curled! He has curled my hair for me so many times. I have a lot of fine hair which makes it very thick & he can style it to perfection. I always get compliments when he curls my hair. He has also blown it straight before which also always looks fab. He’s very friendly & will always ask how you want your look & suggest what he thinks will look the best on you. Not to mention his shampoos are sooooooooo relaxing & wonderful. If I could get my hair done all the time with him I would! I’ve never gotten my hair colored by him but I have seen his work & it’s beautiful.
If you’re in need for a new stylist or want someone who you’re going to be happy with, I highly suggest Gilbert Navarro.

Reyna G is the best!!! She’s more than a stylist, she’s a magician!!! Everyone go see this kindhearted talented beautiful stylist!!! No one in town has her skills… Make an appt now!!!

Love this salon and especially Florencio!!! My hair turned out PERFECT exactly the change I was looking for. I will definitely be back & highly recommend Florencio, he takes his time with you to make sure your hair turns out perfect. :) The décor and ambience is very pretty too!

A wonderful person named Ms. Zep helped me and she really cared about her clients and she really is wonderful.

Rita Rios is the best. I first received a cut from her years ago, when she was at a different salon, and I received several compliments from strangers asking where I’d had my cut. I have family in Fresno, and needing a cut I decided to look her up again this spring. My cut was phenomenal! She gave me an a-​line, asymetrical cut that was trendy and flattered my face. There are so many stylists in LA, and I’ve tried so many of them, but I’ve never been as happy with a cut here as I have been with one from Rita. What else can I say? She is worth the trip up from LA!

Terrible. Some of the stylists aren’t even employees of Fringe they just rent a chair and only accept cash or check. This would have been helpful to know when booking my appt. the receptionist was rude and not helpful. The stylist used her own products which was a huge disappointment because I was looking fwd to the davines line being used but ended up with bed head products. I’m really unhappy with the end result and for $ 140 I should be thrilled but not the case. Please don’t waste your time or money. the salon has is its ambience and that’s it.

I haven’t done very many Unilocal reviews, however I have to say Rita Rios here at The Fringe Salon is amazing! I travel over 2.5 hours every two weeks for my haircut and today I was running a little late. I was able to contact Rita and she told me no please be safe on the road and she will be waiting for me. Please note it was near closing time for her and I am sure she had better things to do with her time on a Friday night. I am huge on customer service and the service she provides is what keeps me coming back time and time again! Thank you Rita for being so amazing!

This was amy first visit to Fringe Salon. I followed Rita Rios there. The salon itself is beautiful. I was so glad to be able to see Rita there. She is truly the best! She actually listens to what you want and knows what will work best for you. I trust her with my hair completely and that’s saying alot. Her cuts always grow out great! I travel quite a distance to see her so it’s not that often but my hair always still looks great even a few months later. Go see Rita, you won’t be disappointed!

What a fun and chic salon! My bridal party and I worked with hair stylists Zepur Andelian and Talar Sarian last fall. Both were fantastic! Our hair styles were intricate, modern, yet classic. Zep knew from the beginning what would work well for me and when I showed her pictures of what I had in mind, she made suggestions that captured the concept in my pictures but also complemented my features. She focused primarily on my hair and made sure the design would last through the night! I especially loved the careful arranged curls in my up-​do. Talar did my MOHs hair. She loved it so much, she took several pictures from various angles so she can ask for the same do when attending other special events. Special thanks to both Zep and Talar for helping my girls and I look and feel great on my wedding day!
