This review is because of horrible customer service. I just called to check if they deliver to my area since I live two blocks and two streets away but the online won’t verify my address. The girl on the phone with mediocre customer service tell me they stop AT my street(the street my backyard faces). I explain to her that basically if my house was facing the opposite direction they would deliver to me but since it doesn’t I can’t have my order delivered? So she asks if I want to make a delivery order which I tell her yes but I need to look at the menu and call back and she says ok to which I now assume she’s going to take care of me. I get my order call back and she and her manager decide«I’m sorry, you’re JUST outside our delivery area, we can’t deliver to you». Unbelievable.

These people make an incredibly fast sandwich. It’s always fresh it always tastes better than I imagined it would.

Live 1.4 miles away and won’t deliver, thought that was the whole point of Jimmy Johns, no wonder they claim lightning fast delivery, must only deliver on their own block.

I am feeling very mixed writing my review and here is why. I am a loyal JJ fan. My husband and I order for delivery almost weekly and the food is always up to par and the delivery is quick. I even have a regular guy who delivers to us, he is tall, lean and always friendly. The other day when I went in I was really disappointed in treatment of an employee. Sure my sandwich was great but loyalty to a place is more than just a great sandwich. So if all you care about is food then stop reading here-The food is tasty. On 5÷29÷16 at around 12:15pm I went in and I got to experience the manager, now I am assuming he was the manager, shorter and a little heavy, yell at and belittle an employee(another male, a little heavy, around 5“6) right in front of me. Now, perhaps this employee has a habit of standing around, overall isn’t the best, but I don’t think it is at all okay to speak to an employee, on stage, in front of customers and other team members the way he did. He spoke so familiar with this employee I thought he was perhaps his son. It was the way he yelled, through clinched teeth«what are you just standing around for?!? I said to wash your hands and help with the sandwiches why are you standing around?!?» I heard this manager speak to this employee like he was worthless more than once. Now again, perhaps this employee stands around often but that is something you deal with off stage. I have worked management in food service and retail and I know that sometimes you reach the end of your rope but all that did was make the manager look bad. I also want to say that I could instantly tell the employee’s demeanor change after he was reprimanded. Overall I was very disappointed. Sure my sandwich was tasty but my heart was broken at how a manager can treat an employee. There was another couple enjoying there sandwiches and another female employee behind the counter who also observed this action. I regret not saying something at the time because I really was upset by it but perhaps someone will read my review.

I went there a few years back when that location first opened was not impressed at all. Just went again recently because co workers and friends say its good so I gave it another shot. I don’t know what they are ordering that is so good its just another subway type place nothing impressive. Would only go there again if the only other choice for a sandwich is Subway.

The #9(Italian nightclub sandwich) is amazing. The bread is baked fresh daily and really soft. The sandwich has a good mix of flavors and really taste like a true Italian blend of species. My husband always adds the avocado spread to his sandwiches and he loves it! This is a really good place to eat when you want something quick without the hassle. The staff has always been very attentive and professional and make the sandwiches so quick. Love stopping by here for dinner after a long day at work.

Our office ordered the lunch boxes as our Christmas lunch. I had ordered the #8 Billy Club. The sandwich came as a sub, not a club. Also, there was too much mayo, and I ended up trying unsuccesfully to scrape it off. I had to search for the dijon mustard. After trying to remove all the excess mayo, I lost my appetite and did not eat the sandwich. Very disappointing experience.

The sandwiches are ok. Just have to watch you don’t ask for a lot of mayo because even if you ask you a little they will but a lot. The good thing about this place is that if you want a sandwich they will make it fast and take it to your home. When they say fast they mean it. They are always nice just wish the food was a little better.

Disappointed. Been to a JJ in Los Angeles and the quality and service was night and day different. There was one slice of turkey on our slim cut in half. I think you’re missing something.

Jimmy mediocre. Ok sandwich, nothing to write home about. Subway is cheaper and better. Chips were the best part.

As far as sandwiches go JJ’s is just«meh» I feel their sandwiches are bland and the bread is mediocre. BUT they’re the only sandwich place that does delivery in my area and the delivery is very fast. I think the longest I’ve waited for my order was 15 min. Usually I get it in less than 10 min. They have their own chips which are amazing. 5 stars for the delivery service. 2 stars for the food.

Wasn’t impressed at all. Really disappointed, but had to try it bc my parents like it. Compared to amazing and fulfilling sandwiches at places like Geno’s and Piemonte’s, this was underwhelming. Then was reminded that the owner of the company is a big game hunter, SO yeah won’t be coming here ever again. On a positive note, the bread was ok(that’s the 1 star).

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! My first time to this place and I was really disappointed. Ordered the #10 bootlegger club(turkey and roast beef), I added mustard and cheese. They informed me that they only have Dijon mustard and provolone cheese. I was fine with the provolone cheese but had never had Dijon mustard before, horrible mistake, it was disgusting! I also asked for salt and pepper on my sandwich and they said they didn’t have any. The only thing good about this place was the bread. Customer service was horrible, girl who took my order was rude, I asked for napkins and the girl behind the counter pointed to them and I was motioned to grab my own. I won’t be coming back to this place! Who only has Dijon mustard?! Wtf!

I have eaten at this Jimmy John’s 4 times now and I’m completely amazed at that consistency and perfection of their establishment! Employees: Hands down their customer service is by far the best that I have ever had at a sandwich shop! Courteous, friendly and actually happy to greet you.5 Stars in its self. Restaurant: Fun, hip, and welcoming; especially the restrooms(lol). Tons of funny decorative art all over the establishment. The restrooms are the best. There is approximately 20 or so different tiles illustrating different type of urine poses. Too funny. See pictures… Both restaurant and restrooms spotless. Food: I always get the Bootlegger with chips and drink. The Bootlegger comes on wheat bread and considered a Giant Club Sandwich. Its delicious. It has various types of peanuts or walnuts in it(Yum)! Lettuce, turkey breast, roast beef and real Mayo. Past four experiences were exactly like the first. The soda fountain has crushed ice and is perfect for crunching on later :) Best in Class –5 Stars!

I was impressed at how clean this store was. I was not impressed with the service, or the sandwich. Not greeted, just asked if I was ready to order the moment I entered the store(I was the only person in the place at 11AM). It took me a minute to decide, which seemed to annoy the employee. I ordered a sandwich for my husband(#9 Italian Night Club) and a low-carb(lettuce wrapped) #4 Turkey Tom. We ordered these to go, and didn’t open them until we got home. My husband’s sandwich looked good. His only complaint was the heavy amount of mayo. My lettuce wrap, on the other hand, was basically 2 cups of mayo with 3 small slices of tomato, and four skinny slices of turkey. I wiped most of the mayo off with a napkin. I was really disappointed. I should have ordered it with extra veggies. The problem is that it’s not a see-through counter, so you basically are handed a wrapped sandwich and have no input on how it’s made. Maybe it was just a stupid assumption on my part, but when someone orders a lettuce-wrapped turkey sandwich, I would think they are trying to eat on the healthy side, and would limit the mayo content or ask about it. But was all know what happens when you ‘assume’.

I finally got around to eating here a few weeks ago with my husband the sandwich lover. Here’s what I liked about the place: It’s light, bright, airy, full of fun décor, the staff greets you promptly and cheerfully, and the time span between ordering and delivery is outstanding. As good as that sounds you’re probably perplexed about my low rating. I’ll explain. What I didn’t like: I’m the first one to say that most places give out way too much food. By no means am I a skinny person but I tend to either leave behind or take home about half of what I’m served every time I go out to eat depending on how well it will keep. Having said that, I walked into Jimmy Johns feeling only a bit hungry but my husband was starving so there we were. They made me a tuna fish sandwich exactly as the menu describes(I made no omissions or substitutions) and when I finished it, I was STILL hungry. Remember, I was not starving when I walked in. I normally can’t finish a similar sandwich at other sandwich shops, but here, it was so miserly I felt like I’d had a tuna fish canapé. If not for the bread, I doubt I’d have felt any sense of satiety whatsoever. The flavor was good so I won’t warn you off on that account, but for the price, I felt insulted. 2.5 is the best rating I can offer under the circumstances. I’m not likely to take another shot here given the many options I have to eat sandwiches at places that never disappoint.
