Royal Security

This place is the worst. I wold give them zero stars if Unilocal allowed me to. Their salesman that originally sold us on the system said it was high tech and came with video monitoring. That was a lie it was a crappy camera that took 5 crappy photos a month… and it took us 9 months for them to actually bring us the correct video camera we were promised. The guy that installed the system put a whole in my wall (of a brand new home). Whenever we would call they would send out the same horrible salesman even though we had asked them not too because he was a very dishonest man and never fixed any of the problems. We were told later by a different employee that the reason was because that salesman and dispatch lady were sleeping together. Why do you need to tell a customer this!!! So unprofessional! The biggest issue I have with this company is that the security part is horrible. My alarm keep going off silently so no one knows until either the cops show up or someone starts talking through the intercom. Randomly the door chimes change sounds as well. I feel less safe since we’ve installed the security system. No managers will call me back either, all they want is their money. When I asked to terminate my contract because of their crappy service and the fact their salesman lied to us, I’m told I have to pay the full amount of my contract. My advise for anyone that is thinking about using them, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

While I can’t comment on their services I can say that the sales practices of their employees is less than honest. A gentleman from their agency came by and identified himself as working with FPD. He then attempted a hard sell approach based on telling me that there was a recent home invasion just around the corner last week. Further questioning led to finding out he was in no way associated with law enforcement and his first hand knowledge of a home invasion was found on an app. It should be a crime for folks to try and make a buck by dishonestly playing on fear. And it is definitely not cool to identify yourself as an employee of FPD. Btw I reported him to FPD and the BBB

So far so good. I’ve had this security system for about 7 months now and it seems to do its job. Really gives my family and I piece of mind. Very affordable compared to the competition. Their spokesman Troy was very helpful in setting up the system and their system setup guy did just as good. (Jesus)
