Shirley was fantastic and very pleasant to work with. She got my alterations done in a very timely manner and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend her!

One of the most important dresses in any woman’s life is her wedding dress. Although Shirley is a very kind woman and seems to understand this, my experience was sub par.
I got married out of state and needed to ship my dress at least a week before the wedding. I told her this EVERY time I went in for a fitting. During at least two of my appointments she was still finishing what she said she would have done that day. I was constantly having to remind her what we discussed during the previous appointment and when I assumed I was coming in for my last fitting it ended up being my second to last. To make matters worse, I had to travel 45 minutes for ALL 6 fittings! 6! My dress only required a hem and bustle… in my opinion 3 appointments should have been sufficient. She didn’t even have the bustle complete on my last appointment and almost certain it still needed work, but thankfully I have crafty bridesmaids who helped me pull it together on my wedding day!
Her only saving grace was that she was referred to me by Madeleines Bridal. When I hit my breaking point with her it took one phone call and they took over and made everything work. My dress was shipped in time (thanks again to madeleines!) and it did look beautiful on our wedding day… I just feel I could have had the same work done elsewhere and saved myself the frustration.

She is absolutely the best on couture dress and wedding gown etc. She is the sweetest lady that I ever made and she really wants to make u look stunning on your dress. I am so grateful to find her and her work is very delicately stunning. I highly recommend her !!

She is absolutely AMAZING at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed about the most important day! I highly recommend her for any alterations you may need, wedding related or not.

Shirley is an amazing seamstress. She made my wedding dress and I can’t wait to wear it for the big day! She was so patient, sweet, accommodating, and went above and beyond! She created a beautiful dress that matched my vision. I am so thankful for her and strongly recommend her for anyone who wants a special dress made just for you!
