Tacos El Rancho

We stopped at this locale on our way through town on vacation.
It’s a little hole in the wall off the 99 freeway. OMG their food is so good beats any restaurant chain simply because it has that homemade taste and they cook your food to all your specifications.
The restaurant owner speaks Spanish so we had a chance to practice our Spanish. He is a very nice man and was very sweet to my 2 children. He had no problem making their meals to their picky specifications.
We had:
Champurrado drink– my kids loved it, thought it tasted like gingerbread cookies.
Quesadilla
Chicken taquitos
Torta de carne Asada
burrito de carne Asada
The owner always asks what kind of filling/​topping you’d like and whether you want chile or not.
Highly satisfied with the flavor of their food.
Ambiance, if you’ve travelled to Mexico and seen their restaurant décor, it’s very much like that.
Bright color walls, flowery vinyl table covers and an all Mexican music juke box. It’s a very humble working class eatery, don’t expect fancy silverware etc.
If your are ever passing through Fresno and need a quick bite to eat for lunch, this would be a satisfying choice.

Wow. Amazing place. Don’t be fooled by your surroundings… This place has amazing food! Great service, fast, friendly and the food is BOMB!!! Toy won’t be disappointed!
