Came here with 3 others. I was the first to order my food(Pollo a la plancha, everyone else ordered tacos and quesadillas). The other people I was with picked up their food within five minutes of ordering. They called various numbers in an unconsecutive order, I waited patiently. I stood up because i was going to complain to the cashier, then magically they called my number. I waited literally 20 minutes to get my food! I picked it up took it to my table(apparently they don’t service tables anymore). I decided not to complain to the cashier and began eating, then I realized my food was cold. Aside from that, the people I was with had to wait for me since they had already finished eating(I basically didn’t eat after all). I seriously believe they forgot about the order because someone after me who ordered an entrée plate picked it up before I picked up mines. I had not been to this location in years and I must say I can now recall why. I’m surprised of their slowness because it wasn’t very busy, that’s the reason we decided to stop(originally we drove by the one on Belmont and it was extremely busy, and we wanted to avoid the wait… so much for that).

The best tacos and ceviche de camaron in Fresno! I have taken so many of my friends here because of the service, low prices and amazing food. One late night my usual cashier was able to get me samples of every protein they have. I am able go attempt to learn new words in Spanish while I’m there. I highly recommend the adabova, asada, pollo and suadero tacos as well as my cerviche. You can ask for a side of queso fresca and they go amazing on tacos. Growing up in Modesto my whole life, there was no where here in Fresno that could compare to the amazing Mexican food and taco trucks we had. This place for sure fills my void from back home. I could never go anywhere else! Plus they’re open late!

This place absolutely rocked. Make sure you at least try the carne asada tacos. Some of the best I’ve had, which is saying something for a former Central Valley local! Really cheap and great quality. The order came out fairly quickly too. Please check this place out! You won’t regret it. It’s also pretty close to Tower, which is nice.

If you’re sick of Taco Bell tacos and are looking for something more authentic and better quality, look no farther than Tacos Tijuana! I try to make at least few trips over to this place a month and it is always worth the drive. They have a great variety on their menu to choose from but I can’t seem to stray away from the carne asada tacos, always so satisfying! This place definitely deserves 5 stars!

Taco’s & Mariscos Tijuana is an awesome establishment. It was late at night and we were looking for a late night restaurant other than fast food. So after deciding to stop here, we were surprised at how many people and families were eating here at such a late hour. The line for ordering food took about 10 minutes, but the other customers were friendly and conversation made it seem faster. We ordered Tacos, tacos, and tacos. All carne asada with different toppings. The order was ready rather fast, but a word of advice… know your basic numbers in Spanish, because that is how the orders are called. The tacos were flavorful, but the only let down, was the size of them; they were smaller than expected. Overall, this place is terrific. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly employees and customers.

This joint is SO busy and with reason. We had a quesadilla w/Asada, tacos de asada, and a Asada burrito banado en chile verde. Everything was really really good. Heres the breakdown: good salsas, tons of meat that was perfectly seasoned, delicious chile verde, friendly staff, and just a great set-up!

I don’t know what the big hype is about. The asada tacos I ordered, the meat was flavor less. Waitress were all over the place. Order took forever. Then they mixed up my order and gave my tacos to someone else. Not going there again waste of time and money.

This restaurant sparked my love for shrimp tacos! I love coming to eat here at night after I get off of work. They have really good asada tacos and their salsas meet my hotness expectations. I love the atmosphere and the good food. Been a regular costumer for about 3+ years I love this place!

My second time here. I don’t remember what I got the first time, but this time I got the Tostada Mixta. It’s ceviche with shrimp, octopus, imitation crab, cucumber and tomato. It wasn’t bad as I ate it all. The imitation crab flavor kind of overpowered the overall seafood flavor for me. I could have done with out it and had more octopus or shrimp or even real crab(but that’d make it more expensive). It comes topped with avocado slices, two tostada shells and a few wedges of lime, which I liberally squeezed all over. That helped bring out the flavors. Towards the end I started putting some Tapatío on it and that really made it taste better. I wish I’d used it from the beginning.

Worst fucken experience EVER!!! It was very crowded which is fine but the cashiers didn’t know wtf they were doing! They began hand writing the numbers for each order which were then duplicated with other people’s orders! We ordered at 140pm and by 240pm we still hadn’t got our food! Finally got up to complain and they were claiming that the numbers got mixed up which is NOT my problem! I expected my money back and they made a huge deal about it! They said I can only have 50% for a problem they fucken caused not me! In the end about half of the people that were with us got their food and half didn’t! The person in charge called the«owner» and had him speak to me! I said I wanted the people with me to have their food plus all of our money back for the ridiculous long assss wait. He refused! Even tho we spent almost $ 80 there. In the end by 3pm I never got any of my order. Finally got my money back and my friends got 50% back. It was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my whole life! DON’T WASTEYOURTIME! GO to the one on BELMONTINSTEAD!

They have 3 locations open, 2 in Fresno and the other 1 I forgot… I do love their tacos very much but can’t give them 5 stars because no alcohol at this location and tortillas aren’t handmade. The meat and salsa is what makes this place shine tho. If u ever come here late night, expect a line and quite some wait time for ur food. But at least it’s an option for u come late night hunger cravings. Instead of driving around searching for a street taco stand that might or might not still be there at 1am or so.

I been a loyal customer since I was 15 years old Today 9 years later I return to find this restaurant a total disappointed There chips were so flavorless, tacos do not feel rich in flavor like they used to Horchata which I used to claim was the best in Fresno today was the most sour flavorless powder water I ever taste !! I’m very dissapointed right now You guys were once the best what happen ???

«Wow.» Has it been so long that I’ve forgotten what a 5-star taco tastes like? I’m coming out of a long retirement from this god forsaken site just to add to the already fucked up field of mediocre reviewing that is Unilocal.People have shitty views, straight up. Maybe I’m one of them? Naw, dawg. Check my taco list… I got this. This place is exactly what a taqueria should be. Walk up service. Big menu. Salsa bar. Chips included. They bring you your food. And of course, BOMBTACOS. Testing the waters, a friend and I ordered 4 tacos: 2 asada &2 adobada(btw, wtf is up with adobada here in fresno? shit is everywhere). Asada: These tasty little morsels are what I’m talking about. They use the smaller tortilla, about 4 in wide, which are greased up on the grill. The actual asada is cooked exactly how I like em… fully cooked bits of juicy, greasy asada that were cooked as soon as I ordered them. I wish I took pictures of them, but I stopped doing that about 3 years ago. Tacos came with cilantro and onions only. The lady who brings you the food also brings guacamole salsa and salsa verde, which I but on both after tasting them. They have a salsa bar, too. So you can control the amount of salsa you want on your taco. Seriously, why doesn’t every place do this? I hate when mother fuckers screw up my tacos by putting too much or too little salsa or onion or cilantro. Adobada: These were good. I prefer al pastor, but this is a nice alternative. Not juicy bits of pork like some adobada i’ve had in my life. But if I ever came back, I think I’d stick with the asada. After destroying these two tacos, ended up ordering two more and a cheese quesadilla. Get this, the quesadilla actually came with real guacamole. Chunky and unseasoned. Gotta love that. Seriously, if you’re in the mood for tacos and are in the area or are driving on the 99, take the Ventura exit, head east, and find yourself experiencing one my new favorite joints in Fresno.

On a camping trip over Memorial Day weekend, our group got SUPER hyped about«road takis”– tacos on the drive home. As we were approaching Fresno, we decided that would be the place to stop, and searched for a taqueria open at 2 pm on a Monday(on a holiday, no less). Taco’s & Mariscos Tijuana fit the bill, and it was perfect. The location is totally unassuming, but the interior is fun and festive, with loads of seating. And when our food was delivered, everyone in our group who got tacos raved about them. I got a mix of shrimp and fish tacos, and I can confidently recommend both of them, with a slight preference for the shrimp. Perfectly cooked and even more perfectly seasoned. And if you have the room, give the guac a try– it’s just the right balance of lime-y and salt-y! Five stars for exceeding our expectations for tacos which we had been obsessing over for three days in the woods!
