Wildrose was recommended to me from the Fresno County Guardian office when my father passed away last month. I live in Washington and my uncle lives in Wisconsin so it was very difficult to get down to Fresno. My father wanted to be cremated and I found out since I had a sibling that he as well had to sign off on the paper work and that I had 30 days to get my father out of the coroners office. Ranee helped me through all the steps she was the go between for my brother and I who I don’t speak to and she got him to sign off on the cremation since he as well knew that was what my father wanted. His only request was to get ½ of the remains which I agreed to. Ranee also helped me be able to get my father’s military papers and help me make the arrangements @ Tahoma National Cemetery to have my father’s service and his remains buried there. I felt he needed to be honored for what he had done in the Korean War and Ranee made that happen. She made all the arrangements and walked me through each step of what I needed to do. I would recommend Wildrose to anyone in the Fresno area they are very helpful and really go out of there way to help you through this difficult time.

We used Wild Rose for my dad. They were beyond helpful with everything we needed to do — even helping with life insurance claims and letting us know what else we needed to do business-wise(we were clueless). They took a huge burden off of our shoulders. We also held the funeral service there and it went perfectly. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I have used Wild Rose for the needs of both my mother and my sister, as well as some relatives and at least four friends. I have found the staff each time to be human, helping my family through each loss. Their function was not just to sell us something, as the funeral home we used for my father, but to help us through the entire experience each time. At a time such as a death of a loved one, I want to be treated as a person, not just a customer. Wild Rose does just that…

When my father died in 2007, my family went to Wild Rose to arrange for services. During our meeting with the funeral director, he asked if my father was a veteran. We said that yes, he served in the Army, at which point the funeral director said, «Your father did more for this country than Clinton ever did.» I was still very overcome with grief for my father, and did not complain or respond then. In my state of grief and mourning I was met not with sympathy and kindness, but with fucking POLITICALCRACKSINREFERENCETOTHEDEATHOFMYFATHER. No matter what your political beliefs are, using the recent death of your customer’s family members is completely off limits. I still regret not pulling my business from this funeral home, but grief is an extremely vulnerable state, and I was still shocked that this had even happened. So, in summary, if you are looking for someone to make political swipes using your dead family members as fodder, go to Wild Rose funeral chapel.
