I’d go zero but Unilocal only allows 1 star to prove the worst experience imaginable. We came here, played some pool, had a decent night until the lady bartender gave us a hard time for playing music that was offered on their jukebox. We came back the next night, she refused to serve us for being «drunk» because we again played the music we like, danced to it, and dancing to music, «appears to be drunk» This was after we had consumed not a single beverage. I’ve never been so judged by the staff at any establishment, for my passions and taste. Frankly at this point, I’m thankful they refused us, as I’d rather not give them the $.75 for a even a single game of pool.

With so many negative Unilocal reviews you would think the owner would consider some changes in this place. We frequent Friday Harbor and will no longer visit Herbs tavern. We actually walked out this weekend after waiting for 20 minutes at a table to never be acknowledged and another ten minutes at the bar to be treated the same. So sad that a pretty cool bar could go downhill this far. Come on owners. Friday harbor deserves to be seen better than this!

Came here last night and had a great time. Nice, talkative, and funny staff. Great drinks. Clean, good atmosphere. Didn’t get a chance to try food here but I will next time!

I am tourist in Friday harbour this weekend and I waited in line to order my drink. My bartender gave me my beers over flowing (no big deal) but I asked for a napkin and he said ok but never got me one. I shrugged it off. Not 5 minutes later I am sitting at the bar with a friend and we decide to try out luck on a pull tab. I asked for $ 1 on bowl 7 and he just looks at me and says, «we don’t have time for that.» EVEN THOUGH on the backs of every bartenders shirt says, «Pull My Tab.» False advertisment?
Either way, the bar is fun, music good but I think they should find a guy with a little more patience and respect for his customers who are basically paying his wages.

This spot was recommended to us by our bike rental company, but it’s definitely not our flavor. I think you have to be a local/​regular in order for the bartender to chat with you at all beyond «What can I get you?»
I sort of make a habit out of befriending the person preparing my drinks and have never found myself so unsuccessful! Add in that my glass had a chip in the rim, and I’d pass on this place since there are other far better options.

This pub has a pool table and plenty of tv’s to watch sports while having food and drinks. It has a local, corner bar feel to it. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable. It’s located just blocks from the ferry so it’s a convenient option before catching the ferry boat. I would stop in again if I was in town.

Cod fish and chips, Cobb salad and seafood platter are all good. It appears that they have a bit of a shortage of help, but we really didn’t wait long. I thought the fish and chip was better than most places throughout the US.
