This used to be my usual breakfast spot for the last ten or so years. The servers are friendly and the food is good, but around Thanksgiving, they started playing the «drive-​time Dumbbells» on the radio – the «all chatter all the time» crew, and I couldn’t stand listening to it. I asked if they’d change back to some all-​music thing and got a noncommittal answer from in person and no reply at all to my email, so now I have breakfast at home, or at Mojo coffee or the Bru House, where the coffee is not quite as good, but the atmosphere is peaceful.
My wife always disliked going here because she said it was «too noisy,» and there is a lot of clatter and things that happen in a busy kitchen, but I can ignore anything, pretty much, except TALKING. The beans are still well-​roasted, and I stop in for them.

I have come here quite a bit and usually the coffee is very good. Employees change a lot, so there is no remembering what you like. Unfortunately, the new owner is not very friendly and has compromised the state of the customers lining up, as it used to be quite crowded! Sometimes the baked goods are dry, other times OK, depending on what you get. Better off going inside to see what there is for the day.

If you live in Fridley, this place is OK. BUT if you are used to coffee shops in the city, this place looks like the coffee shop time forgot. Very dated, no ambiance. Staff friendly and coffee products average.

Best coffee of any chain. I give it 3 stars only because of the terrible «bakery» items. I ordered a muffin through drive thru and received a muffin still in the cellophane (?) and cold! Very disappointing.
Great staff however!

My fiancé Dan and I often go to this location prior to work and we just love it! They know us before we even get to the counter and even while ordering thru the drive thu– they know Dan’s large Iced Mocha with an extra shot of espresso! About a month ago on a terrible morning of everything going wrong, we stopped into the store and purchased $ 7 in coffee drinks. For some reason, to add to the irritation, my card was declined. While I started to think of ways to figure out why this is, the barista said ‘no worries, go ahead and take them. Come back in tomorrow and pay it”. It was very nice of her to do and we of course paid them back right away! The ladies (and men) are so nice and funny, it’s nice to have a cheery attitude from a server! I got a chocolate trouffle for Valentine’s Day, too!

Love them! I’m a casual repeat customer, coming in maybe once or twice a week. The baristas always know I’m the sugar-​free, iced vanilla nirvana lady, which is nice and makes me feel like Norm walking into Cheers. :) They have the best coffee of any of the chains. A million times better than the swill at Starbucks, and even quite a bit better than Caribou, which I do like. It’s by far my favorite location as well. The staff is always friendly and does it right. I drive past 3 Caribous to get here from my house, so that tells you something. It’s worth going out of your way for.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Dunn Bros., after choosing it blindly using from Dunn Bros.’ website. The two employees were SO FRIENDLY, and they were not in the least bit concerned that I was walking in with about 20 minutes until closing time.
The ambiance is lovely — while the shop is a bit smaller than some others, it certainly did not feel that way… probably b/​c it has a great «personality». Which really is a big part of the Dunn Bros. charm.
I even received a free sample of an upcoming iced/​shake/​vanilla/​amazingness coffee drink they’re releasing this summer. The store was immaculate and had great lighting — it would be a great place to study.

My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. It is a smaller location but there are a few table and larger chairs to sit down if you like. Service is always great and if you stop in as much as I do they will have your drink ready by the time you get to the counter. Coffee is roasted in the shop daily so you know it is fresh.
