They always seem to be out of something… last time it was beef stew, this time it was Thai tea

Food was pretty good, but the service is subpar. Every time I go there, the short Asian lady with glasses sounds very demanding and like she hates her job. Her accent makes it kind of difficult to understand what she is saying half the time. The prices are $ 8 and up for most food on the menu which I don’t mind paying– but it’s not worth the terrible customer service.

Only giving a one star for the decent food. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Service is less than satisfactory; I have been a regular and they could care less. Also, they do not package togo orders well, I ordered beef noodle soup togo one time and they just gave me noodles with literally no soup. The waiters are not very well mannered and do not care for customer service. I would only recommend this place for a quick eat, nothing more.

Arrived at 8:20 with my date, was greeted by a short asian lady with glasses saying«we close at 8:30.» Although, the sign on the door said 9:00pm. As a frequent client I am very disappointed in the lack of costumer service and tact. We decided to go to Cedars Mediterranean(which also at 9 pm.) Arrived at 8:40 was greeted by a nice employee and said«yes we’re open, our kitchen closes at 9pm.» JUSTLIKETHESIGNSTATED. Thank you Cedars for being flexible and having great service. By the way, ordered the chicken salad and was impressed by the quantity/quality! :) so long chopsticks

When it first opened, this place was a great alternative to the run of the mill Phở Que Huong restaurants. However, the past few experiences have turned us away. The food is good, but for what it is, it is overpriced w/average(at best) service. The past few experiences had me wondering if the servers were trying to upsell dishes to us. Let me put it into perspective — we went to Hutchins BBQ for lunch today and ordered ¼lb brisket, ¼lb ribs, ¼lb jalapeño sausage, 1 jalapeño popper, 2 sides, and 2 drinks for $ 27. Tonight, feeling not overly hungry at all, we ordered shrimp spring rolls, pork spring rolls, 2 cups of won-ton soup; server said they were out of won-ton soup so we ordered 2 bowls of phở. Our bill was $ 29. $ 29 for what amounted to rice noodles in soup or wrapped in rice paper! Another example of upsellmanship — a previous time we were there, they told us that we couldn’t order a small(kid size) bowl of phở unless we also ordered an appetizer. The last straw is the service. If I’m paying that much for dinner, then at least be pleasant and provide decent service. This is quite a bummer because I really love their won-ton soup(only my mom can make it better), but not at their current value and service.

So we actually really like the food here. To be honest, we’ve only ever had the phở but it is delicious. Most of the negative reviews seem to be more on poor service and not for bad food. We haven’t had any negative experiences here for service and the food hasn’t disappointed yet.

We had the dark thigh meat chicken phở and chicken dumplings phở. Both were excellent. Service was fast. Cheap and convenient option for a quick dinner or lunch. We will be visiting again.

I come here often and have always loved it, but today was a different story. My phở had a weird after taste not sure why but I didn’t enjoy it as I usually do. But I thing the icing on the cake was the employee laying in the booth snoring like nobody’s business. Just a thought but maybe you shouldn’t nap in the dinning area. The best part was another employee walked by and heard you’d think he would nudge but NOPE he kept on walking.

This was a hit for the whole family. My wife and I had the bbq pork and shrimp vermicelli(my son took all the shrimp) with fish sauce. It was really, really good. One son had the phở with chicken and my other son wished he had the phở with chicken. The broth on the kids phở was very tasty, but the veggies in his egg roll that came with his meal were too much for him so I had to eat it on his behalf. His loss, it was excellent! My son is now a big fan of this place, and my wife and I are as well. We also had an additional couple orders of egg rolls. The only draw back was that they did not serve beer or wine but you could bring your own. I just like the convenience of not having to lug in a couple of frosties with my meal. We look forward to coming here again.

Who wants some phở? Lunch specials are great, I wish they had more variety to choose from. But their phở is good, fast and friendly service! Remember people it’s family own little place, they are doing great job keeping customers happy :)

I visited this establishment around 2:45 pm one weekday afternoon. The door was locked, but the hours on the door showed that it should be open. I proceeded to try to open the door again. Someone unlocked the door at that time. I asked the man if they were open. He kind of mumbled something, and opened the door to allow me in. As I entered, I noticed like 4 men seated at a booth near the checkout counter. They all looked to be a part of the establishment. A different guy, younger than the others, came over to take my order. There is definitely something sketchy about this place. I would not suggest anyone dine here. I won’t be back.

My friend took me here because I wanted some Asian food badly. I order #138 which is grilled chicken, jasmine rice, and some type of salad. The chicken was very good but everything was mediocre. My friend bought the shrimp fried rice and is was excellent(not enough shrimp)! I will go back if my friend is paying, lol.

Just got to Dallas and checked in our hotel. We were excited to check out this restaurant, but it’s 8:25pm and they are closed. The business hours stated they close at 9pm today. I don’t respect a business that don’t follow their own hours.

When we arrived, we had our hearts set on some vegetarian phở. Sadly, we were informed that they were out of the vegetable broth, so we had to choose something else. Going off a recommendation from our server, we decided on a vegetarian vermicelli noodle bowl. It was topped with fresh veggies, herbs, and peanuts. I used the fish sauce they provided on the side, but my BF had it without, instead opting to only use the various hot sauces on the table. We were extremely satisfied with the food, and the service was friendly and efficient. It was an excellent choice, and we’d go there again in a heartbeat!

It’s phở! We came here around dinner time on New Years Eve and there was a strong aroma of curry. My family doesn’t really like the scent of curry and it kind of bothered our noses! Anyways, we all ordered phở and a plate of Seafood flat noodles. With 3 orders of phở, they only brought one plate of(veggies?) toppings out, and there was only one jalepeno slice. Really? We had to wave them down to get some more. The phở itself has great flavor, but halfway through I ran out of meat :(would’ve been better with more meat. The flat noodle tasted great. The service here is more on the terrible side, as the waiters aren’t attentive and just sit and talk. They gave us the wrong bill and when we waved them down they didn’t say anything. Weird. Also I could have sworn I saw a mouse squeeze past me in the booth! Either that or it was the lighting. Who knows? I could be crazy. Probably won’t come back, I like phở crystal a lot better.

This place is always wonderful. This is one of my favorite places for phở. The service is terrific and the people working here get to know you after a few visits. The place is very clean and well kept. Just a warning, they put cilantro in a lot of the dishes. So, if you are not a fan, ask them to leave it off. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Nice atmosphere, quick service and authentic flavors. I wondered if a place that looks so nice could produce in the kitchen also? I was impressed. Sriracha sauce appears to be homemade and had a bit more bite and slightly less vinegary flavor than the commercial brand

Came here not knowing it was mainly Vietnamese food. It was a good surprise and I was shocked to see how packed it was during lunch. We didn’t have to wait to get seated, but there was steady stream of people coming in and out. This restaurant feels clean, which is part of the appeal. There is a TV which was playing sports when we were there(World Cup), not some Vietnamese soap opera. They have lunch specials that come with an entrée of your choice(out of a preset menu), drink, and either a spring or egg roll. I got the steak phở and it came with a decent amount of meat. The broth was not as oily as some other places and I was satisfied. It could have used a bit more flavor, but again, it was pretty non-fatty(the broth). The service was okay and they were good about refilling our drinks. They were also to give everyone a separate check without being asked. I’d come here again.
