The service was good and the MRI was fast. The technologist who helped us introduced herself and walked my son through next steps. The lady who checked us in was great. The lady who checked us out was not as friendly. Perhaps she didn’t get the memo to be nice and caring towards patients! With the exception of the lady at checkout, I would utilize this facility for imaging needs. They have lockers to place your personal belongings in during your procedure. We were also given a CD of all images. We didn’t have to ask for it!

Very quick, efficient, and clean facility. We only waited about 5 minutes before my husband was taken back for his CT scan. They took our insurance without any problems and were pleasant through out the process.

Clean facility, professional staff, prompt service. The waiting area is large and comfortable with a TV and complimentary drinks. X-rays are on a walk-in basis like any imaging center, so you may have to wait if there are others ahead of you. Other imaging, such as MRI&CT scans, require an appointment. My only negative comment is having to fill out the same pile of paperwork every time I come in, even if it’s multiple times within the same week/month. I would highly recommend this place as an RN/NP working in healthcare for 20+ years… I’ve seen it all. This place is pretty good overall.

Waited 45 minutes for them to bring me the drink which I now had to wait another one hour and fifteen minutes to take. No one told me anything until I had to bug them to give me an answer. No one came out to bring me the drink until after I harassed them to give me an answer. Could have been out of here a while ago but need to spend NYE waiting on them to communicate basic process to me.

Very difficult staff. Ultrasound that was done was reporting in error on the size of two kidney stones(not even finding the one we were there to find) resulting in us believing we had an emergency medical issue when in fact it was not. Turns out it was not the right test for which is the doctor’s fault for ordering, however, they could have spoken up and let us know they weren’t seeing things we were there to see. They charged us anyway. We discovered the information was not matching the facts in an x-ray the next day. I complained to them about the discrepancies. I asked for a refund of at least our portion out of pocket only b/c the information in the report was not what it should have been. They proceeded to call the specialist and tell them that we requested a CT scan. We had not requested any such thing. I felt betrayed. They overstepped and were completely out of line in our opinion. The offered the CT scan free. It felt like they wanted to prove something. I followed up with how outraged we were they made this call to the specialist without asking and they made no apologies for violating our patient rights. The specialist was not on file and had not ordered the previous ultrasound. They could have handled this much better. I don’t expect perfection, things happen, mistakes are made, it’s not a huge deal, but this went above and beyond responsible medical care. We never received the refund despite that the CT showed in fact the ultrasound report was proven to have errors. It was only 75 dollars and I felt that was a small request after what we felt they had done.

I want to go on record that this is the most difficult experience I have ever had to try to schedule an X-ray. I have an order in hand from the doctor, yet they cannot take my insurance information and tell me if the xray is covered. Only when I walk in the door am I able to get any information. They will not call the insurance company and get pre approval. Additionally they seemed uninterested in verifying with the MD office how many views are to be made. Honestly, the process was so frustrating I decided to drive from Frisco to Plano to have my X-ray near the Presb Hospital campus, because the hospital system is more helpful. I mean really, who wants to drive all over Collin and Denton County, from imaging provider to imaging provider, to determine who will process your claim through your insurance? What a waste of time!

Hey who loves getting an MRI anyway! I have had several over the years and they are never fun. I hate the loud noise. I am new to Texas and my new doctor set me up for an MRI for my back. Envision was in the same building as his office. I stopped in with my prescription and they set me up for my MRI the next morning. Wow, I am not used to such speedy service. I came in the next morning and they had all the approvals from my insurance company. I was met by the nicest technician who took a real interest in my comfort before and during the procedure. I had never had music available in previous MRIs. She offered me my choice of music from Pandora. What a difference that made! It decreased the noise of the machine and helped pass the time while inside the machine. I was in and out of the office in less than an hour! This place is a bit of a drive from my home and there are other centers closer. If I ever need another MRI I will certainly come back here!

I don’t really know how to write a review for a radiology shop but I can tell you that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and I have no complaints. The prices are better than going to the hospital and the service is likely a lot better.
