need negative stars, we used to live down the street and go there often on weekends we made a special trip there last Sat and will not be back. Waited 10 to 15 minutes for our drinks after we had ordered and when we asked the waitress she said«is it was our pleasure to have her serve us»! Well I could not believe it so we got up and walked out but not before talking to the manager. Then the waitress said she did not say that and with that I asked my girlfriend to come back in and she confirmed it with the manager but she just apologized and said she would talk to her staff. The place used to be packed on weekends but it was fairly empty and that should have been a clue. So again we will not be back«ever»

4 years after my previous review I decided to give this LePeep another shot. I’m sad to say that nothing has improved. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast, and my wife had the Waffle combo breakfast. 1) The«Peasant Potatoes» on both our plates were mealy, not crunchy, and under-seasoned. 2) My wife’s waffle was not warm enough to melt butter, so I assume it was made prior to our arrival and not when she ordered it. 3) My Chicken Fried steak tasted more like day old shoe leather. I don’t know how you can make something that’s covered in gravy have that flavor, but somehow they managed it.(Oh, and as I noted in my previous review, the«Hawg Wild Sausage Gravy» had not one bit of sausage in it) Though I did not summon a manager, one did come by and comp the cost of my plate. I do appreciate that very much. However, not enough to recommend this restaurant to others or to ever come back myself.

Just had one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. Food took 35 minutes to be delivered. …cold. Countless tables came after our party of 5 and we’re gone by time our food came! Waiter tried to be friendly but his ultimate lack of tip was either due to our lost order or the kitchen. To top it off he said they’d comp bill and cashiers said no and we’re very snobby about it. Wasn’t expecting free but nothing off bill and an attitude certainly not appreciated. Have been here in past with average results on food and service but will never go back after this. Seems like«kids» run this restaurant. Do not go here uless you want to wait 30 minutes for your order and have cold peasant potatoes!

I can not review the food since we never made it pass the lobby. Upon arrival we were told there was a 20 – 30 min wait for a party of 2, PERFECT! wrong!!. After patiently waiting for an hour we inquired about wait time. That’s when we noticed that our name was moved 10 or so parties behind the CALLINS, the irony was that we were one of 3 couples waiting and 2 empty tables waiting for CALLINS, apparently they rather have empty tables than serve customers.

The food was edible, but it was not what we ordered. Our food took a long time to arrive as we were told there was a large party upfront ahead of us. No big deal since it was a Saturday morning. When it did arrive it wasn’t the food we ordered. The waitress looked at it and said I don’t know what happened I put in the right order. No apology or manager to come out to help correct it. We won’t be back

This is my first time to write a review, ever. I normally don’t do this but I really felt like this place deserved some praise. So here goes. My husband and I have been here twice. Last week was my first time to eat here and I enjoyed my food so much that I had to come back. I ordered a Salmon Eggs Benedict. He ordered a Monte Cristo crêpe. We both get our food at the same time except our waitress looks at mine and asks me if I feel like the egg is cooked too hard. So I take my fork and poke it, per her instructions, and no yoke is coming out. I tell her«yes, the eggs are overcooked» and she whisks my plate away, apologizing, saying that she will see to it that my eggs are better next time. I really don’t have too long to wait. The second time she brings my plate, it definitely looks better. I yet again pick up my fork, slice through it and like a volcano, the yokes oozes and flows all over the salmon steak. That first bite, I taste the egg, cream cheese, salmon, and the English muffin it’s been sitting on. Oh happy day, my tastes buds were sure enjoying themselves! In the past when I’ve had to send my plate back, it’s come back a little drier and crispier from going back on the grill or having to sit underneath that heating lamp. I assumed the same might’ve happened about my salmon being too dry but this wasn’t the case at all! Instead, I cut into my salmon and it flaked so beautifully, I really didn’t need a knife. I continue my meal until I’ve only left a little bit of my oven-baked potatoes. Josh and I are so full and satisfied by the time we pay our check. Oh! The entire reason for this review. My two impressions of this visit: one when my husband and I walked in, Monica the host, welcomed us back and recognized us right away by greeting us with our names. No telling how many people that she had seen in a week’s time and she remembers us straight away! So we walk to our car and I turn the car on for Josh and tell him I want to find out our waitress’ name. I go back in and ask and am told that her name is Amanda. I make sure to let Monica know how impressed I am of her, that I’ve never had anyone treat me like Amanda did. It turns out that she is the head cook who obviously has an eye to look for when a meal is less than perfect. Well Amanda and Monica, I’m hoping that you will be reading this and know that Josh and I WILL be back and will also recommend this place to others! So I bet my review was pretty wordy, huh? Sorry. Like I said I normally don’t do this and so this is my very first review but I actually enjoyed writing this and if I ever come across people like Monica and Amanda, I will for sure write another one!

The crêpe was small and soggy and not much Nutella. The bacon was too greasy. The service was great but I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Worst service ever!!! Totally ignored by 3 different seating hosts. One guy wouldn’t even make eye contact as my husband stood waiting to give his name and then turned and walked off.

We tried it today and the food was great, the service was outstanding. My kids tried 2 different things and my daughter loved the crazy face pancakes. My wife had an omelet which she said was terrific, I had biscuits and gravy with 2 sunny side up eggs and my eggs where right that means a lot. Also the restaurant was clean and staff where all friendly, we will be back soon

The best biscuits and gravy we’ve ever had. They crisped the edge in the oil from the sausage. Breakfast enchiladas on the winter menu were sensational. Our waiter Brandon was so attentive and cheerful. Just the best breakfast we have had in a long time.

We come here at least couple times a month. Mostly for breakfast and some lunches. Food is always good, service can vary depends on who serves you. But the hostess is this young kid with the face like he party all night and then hangover greets(not really) people at the restaurant. Please take into consideration this review and get someone who is actually smiling and greeting your guest instead of grumpy and ignorant face who doesn’t even say hi or anything…

We have eaten at this particular location several times and we always have a nice experience. The staff is very efficient and always super nice. One of my favorite dishes is the Sweetie Pie Skillet… So good! They also have a great waffle combo. The pricing is pretty average for this area; about $ 10 a person. It always appears to be very clean which is a must for me. PS. We have had Chris serve us several times and he is awesome! :)

Stop by and see Chris H.(great server if you can get him)! The food is pretty good. Try the Farmer’s Benedict or any of the skillets. Skip the peasant potatoes. The specialty pancakes are usually a pretty solid choice. Overall the prices are reasonable, and you have the added bonus of not smelling like breakfast all day after eating here. :)

I eat at the Irving and Denton le peep all the time and the people at those locations are super friendly and awesome. This location. Not so much. I asked for salsa from a waitress that wasn’t ours and she came back 10 minutes later and when we were done with our food and said we didn’t need anymore she seemed irritated #sorrynotsorry sorry Le peep Frisco, I’ll stick to my home locations. Kthanks.

Hadn’t been here in awhile. Went here today for breakfast. My husband had the plate with sausage patties, eggs, and pancakes. The sausage patties had plastic still in the outside, and was cooked with it on. I told The waitress where she said she would bring us another and she did not. I also had to speak to a Manger about it. Where she only took HALF off. For plastic cooked into a sausage. The waffles and pancakes were good. White lightening didn’t taste all to fresh. Prob going to stick to Pancake house from now on.

If you are really hungry for some stale cubes of potatoes with some cold onions, cold ham, and cold mushrooms sprinkled on top then come here and order the gypsy skillet. Be prepared to pay over $ 10 and then sit in a hot restaurant while you eat. When you become thirsty then you have a tiny water glass to drink from which you can refill from a dingy water carafe. McDonalds would have been better, faster, cooler, friendlier, much more tasty and I greatly dislike McDonalds!!! Save your time and money for a different place. If you enjoy over paying for well below average food, then this is your place.

Wait was 20 – 30 minutes. There seem to be open tables, but they were slow in seating. When we were seated our server Kalindi cheerful greeted us. She was awesome & and made the wait worth it.

I’ve only been here a couple times and it was before I ventured into good foods. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and was mildly disappointed. There were no tomatoes included(?) so I had a little brought to me(3 slices for 2.75 $ is absolutely nuts?!). When I broke open the eggs they were like a mix of poached and hard boiled. The sauce was not prominent as far as taste goes. My step mom had over medium eggs that were made over hard and my dad had over easy made over medium. My dads French toast was also very mushy he said. The potatoes were fine. Everything was generally fine except the stuff stated above. It’s generally good when we go but maybe the cook was new or something

So it was $ 3 off Benedicts on this Monday so we thought, why not? You would think since it was a special for the day they would be able to cook the eggs right but no; we were served hot hard boiled eggs. Sent those back and they sent out some fresh eggs on what we believe to be the old bread and the eggs were still overcooked but not as bad as the first time. So that was interesting. Not happy but $ 3 off right? We will probably not be going back because it took 30 minutes from our initial order to have our breakfast placed in front of us and who has time for that?

Had the crew with me that all have dietary restrictions. Everyone found something they could eat. Pancakes are huge and pretty darn good. All the eggs were cooked correctly and the bacon was just right. Only problem was the breakfast for one of us was to be a gluten free one and the person caught it before she ate it, it was not. They redid it, but look at your order before you start if you have problems.

I came here because I brought a deal through groupon. As soon as we were sat, they took our drink orders right away. They have this large bowl full of dreamers: half and half, vanilla and hazelnut for my coffee. The food didn’t take long at all to come out. While we were waiting, the waitress kept checking on us and didn’t make us feel like we were invisible. I ordered the French toast combo. The French toast was a bit soggy and it was too simple. There wasn’t anything special about the sausage or scrambled eggs. Their potatoes were cooked differently compared to most places I have been too. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned. My brother ordered the chicken fried steak. Perfect. The batter was cooked to perfection, the meat was nice and moist. The gravy was spectacular. Overall, I would love to come here again. I am glad I had my groupon though otherwise, it’s a bit pricey.
