Nerds We Can Fix That

I’m useless at work without my computer. With overwhelming amount of work to be done for this particular week my computer went kaput! Being already behind I had to get this computer fixed, and FAST. After browsing the Unilocal ads, marking off the ones with fake reviews (come on guys, we can usually tell!) I started calling. Nerds We Can Fix (I like that name!) was the first I was able to contact.
A friendly guy named Derrick answered who promised if it could not be fixed that day, it would be ready by next morning. Nice to hear because the business I had called just before said it would take at least a few days to get fixed — but I need it now!
Derrick came to my home, ran some CDs which didn’t work. I already thought it was a hardware problem from research I did online. Though I’m glad Derrick tried every possibility before recommending we switch out the hard drives.
Took the computer with him and had it ready the next day. Unfortunately not all files were saved but he took it back to the shop and tried to recover the additional files. Was semi successful though fortunately I had an older backup. Being unable to recovering the files were not so much their error, rather the hard drive was too damaged.
My experience with Derrick and Nerds We Can Fix It was great. From the service, turn around, and not to mention the price which was cheaper than most the other folks I called.
Great job Derrick! Now I know who to call for my crazy computer conundrums.

If your looking for something better than the geek squad, this is the business for you. I called Dave and talked to him about some problems with my laptop and Pc. He was very informative and explained some ways to fix the problems. He came and picked up both units and gave me a 24 – 48 hour turn around time. Definitely beats waiting a week or even more for the geek squad! He also delivered the units back to me and added a few upgrades in as well.
Great service and great prices! Will refer and use again!
