Best beer in town by a large margin and your best bet for good local bands. An exceedingly warm welcome awaits you at the door where they check IDs and collect cover if you want to see the bands. They generally have no issue letting you skip cover charge if you are simply there for the beers. Tip: only one bar but you can venture up three steps hidden in the back to enjoy outdoor seating. no view and barely any lights, but nice to be outside

Kick. Ass. Place. A friend of mine always used to call Dante’s «the cultural hub of Frostburg» and as pretentious as that sounded, he was kind of right. The bartenders are casual and conversational(one googled every mixed drink my friend asked for but still made them) and the food is preposterously good. I would never have expected this level of quality. The live music is mostly ace but the cover is never outrageous and the stage sometimes hosts poetry slams from the local college. Oh, and there’s a pool table.

Definitely some of the best food in Frostburg. There is local art, a pool and ping pong table and they often have live music. Also, half price martinis on mondays

We were trying to eat dinner here when three non-paying customers barged in and started playing ping pong rather violently just inches from where we were seated. The ball landed in my boyfriend’s dinner. Twice. The food here wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I’d ever come here again. The bartender seemed more interested in bullshitting with the old men at the bar than providing actual service.

I’m not a big barfly, but I’m kinda in love with Dante’s. I certainly did not expect to find such a gem in a town like Frostburg, but I was pleased nonetheless. Maybe it’s just because I’d ingested an unethical amount of libations on both of my visits there, but the patrons, bartenders and doormen have all been exceptionally friendly and chatty. I dig the live music, the back patio is a plus(who doesn’t like drunkenly star-gazing?!), and the art on the walls is always fun to look at. I’ve yet to try any tasties off the menu, but I’ll certainly update if I happen to snack there in the future. Oh! And best part of Dante’s? Drink specials! I was shocked on both of my visits at how low my tab was, and by the selection available.

The outdoor patio is the best feature! I haven’t tried the food but it looks good and is constantly changing to the fresh stuff of the season. I always have a blast when I’m here. Great beer selection. Great specials. One thing that sucks is there’s ALWAYS a line for the bathroom. Many a friends have either pissed themselves there waiting or had to run to another bar. Great place to see live music.

Not a bad dive of a bar. They had $ 2.50– 3 Yuengling Drafts with a few other on tap options. I came here for a show(Cotton Jones) which was pretty good. The bar area can get a little crowded and give one very little walking room. The bartenders were good and efficient. I did enjoy the sound and atmosphere here. I would check this place out for a show. They have decent bathrooms which is nice(still only one stall). They also have a pool table and a few places to sit and lean against during the show.

Cheap beer and good music(sometimes). What else could you ask for?
