I’ve been coming to Big’s since I found this place when I worked across the street, very cool and divey bar, great bar food, beer is super cheap $ 5 on the pints!!! And of course the servers are super friendly! Went here this past Sunday to watch my Broncos tear up the Patriots!!! Good times!!!

This is one of our regular hang outs. The place is really not much to look at. It’s one of the older bars in Fullerton with huge televisions on the wall and probably could use a fresh coat of paint and some renovations but I just like coming here. The servers are very friendly, the drinks are strong and the food is good. It’s a bar but you can still carry out a nice conversation with your friends without having to yell at the top of your lungs. Drinks-wise, we usually like coming at happy hour(5p to 7p I think) because their large pint of beer is like $ 5 or $ 6. I love their appetizers too. My favorites are: onion rings, garlic butter chicken wings, flat bread pizza and their sliders. Their cheesecake is also good. Great place to go to when you just want to grab a drink with your friends and unwind after a hard day at work. :-)

It’s Always a good time at Bigs. Met up with friends last night and enjoyed my favorite happy hour app. the ahi tostada. One of the few bars that a woman can feel comfortable in the setting. The staff and owners make the patrons feel like they are in an episode of Cheers. They have a superior happy hour drinks and food every week day. Build your own yummy burger Monday, Taco Tuesday(esto sabe muy Rico), Wing Wed., fish special Thursday. If you like sports, this bar is guaranteed to have your fav. Also, the best Karoeke Tuesday nights. All ages go here. They have gourmet quality food with sports bar pricing. You wanna go where everybody knows your name. Cheers!

Decided to give this place a try. It is right near campus and so here goes. Came on a karaōke night, figuring i would get a beer and some food while listening to some karaōke singers giving their best… i arrived at 930pm and expected it to be 30 minutes into karaōke but apparently the 9pm start time was a loose schedule. Waitress was very nice and two bartenders were real lookers… got a $ 3.00 pint of craft beer… atmosphere of the bar is a little nicer than a dive bar actually pretty cool feeling. The crowd looked to be between 22 and 55 with a good mixture of ages to be honest… around 10pm the karaōke started… for 10.95 ibgot a pretty good steak with potato shrimp and vegetables… pretty tought to beat the pricing here… the karaōke itself was pretty lame. The KJ was not very motivating did not encourage people to sing and seem to be just going through the motions. The song selection was surprisingly not very good.

This review is just for tonight, ¼/16. I have been a frequent customer of Bigs in Fullerton. I usually come on Monday nights for the 3 $ pints and 5 $ burgers. Tonight, Beth? Gave horrible service. I assume that’s her name since that was on the receipt and she never introduced herself to us at all at any point during service. The night started fine. I arrived at 7:30 pm with my girlfriend and my friends gradually joined me as the night progressed. At a full party of 7, she had accommodated us in a way that was very hospitable. However, once one of us decided to leave, she went ahead and proceeded to print all of our checks individually and gave us our bills one by one. It was fine I guess, but I wasn’t done drinking and eating and would have been more than happy to keep ordering. However, we couldn’t help but feel like she was rushing us. As a server at a restaurant at the Disneyland resort, I completely understand how it feels to have one last table for the night, and feel anxious to want to close out so you could leave for the night. But at no point did she ever communicate this to us, and she did nothing but hover our table. We had two people in our party who were still eating their 5 $ build your own burger and we’re still drinking their pints, and she still had the nerve to ask if our checks were ready for cash out. For this reason, I can’t help but leave a one star review. If you do happen to get the gentleman with the longer hair, or the other gentleman with the short hair behind the bar to serve you, then you have nothing to worry about since they give amazing service. But for Beth, if your name is actually Beth since I wouldn’t know, just be prepared to feel rushed.

Ah okay so I have finally found my new spot ! Lol been here on a few different occasions mainly Tuesday’s for their bomb happy hour & karaōke. Food is awesome and can’t go wrong with their prices. Better than DTF where it’s over crowded and over priced. Chill spot to bring a group of friends play some pool throw some back & embarrass yourself in front of the mic. Only thing that caught me off guard was that I met with a group of friends and somehow my bill was with theirs so they included gratuity, had asked if I can get mine separate but guess it takes too much time anyway it definitely added to the bill if I knew that I wouldn’t have tipped so much at the bar lol but now I know and it won’t stop me from comin back !

Just celebrated my 40th birthday here. We reserved a private room in advance, no deposit required. The room has a pool table, plenty of TVs, and lots of seating. Our server was great, she checked up on us frequently during our 6 hour long stay. The grub is typical gastropub fare, but they do it well. I had a big, delicious burger on a brioche bun, crunchy tater tots and some meaty nachos. They have quite a few beers on draft, and they make a mean vodka tonic. In a word, recommended.

Been here many times. Actually too many times. Great place to get a beer after work or if you are in the Cal State Fullerton area. Big’s has drink specials almost every night of the week. Their late night happy hour is really good for beers. Not a fan of the food.

Anyone that knows me knows I love me a good bar with cheap drinks and good eats and that is exactly what you get here. I generally come through this joint during the week for their awesome specials($ 3 u call it pints/$ 5 build yer own burger Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, etc.) and hang out for fun stuff like Karaōke or just to hang out with friends. Been coming here for years now and though all the other stuff is great, it’s the staff that makes the joint run like clockwork and worth coming back to. Chris, one of the main cats there who seems like he’s always there and always working hard, makes sure yer taken care of, handling whatever needs to be done and makes you feel welcome. He, along with the rest of the staff, are there holding it down and doing an awesome job making Big’s a cool spot to hang at.

Regular here for years. Still get bad attitude from some staff and was told don’t come back. Why? Because I expected to pay the price of the special POSTED on the wall? If the price has changed, change it. That’s the law; I was just saying. Then, they get nasty, and the bus boy gets hostile, dramatically ripping the sign from the wall. Even when the customer is RIGHT, they will inform you that you’re wrong. Promise you this: my 12 years in the service business, you’d get exactly what is posted and I’d be happy to give it to you. I was ALWAYS there for my guests. RocK-HERO Entertainment totally rules, though! Tuesday and Thursday, they kill it! Sing what you want; and music videos galore! Long live Tony and Joyce.

After a midterm, I went here to enjoy breakfast with some of my classmates. This place really is a bar-y bar, but I was glad that they had an extensive breakfast menu. Their breakfast dishes looked like too much for me to handle, so I asked for two waffles(I love me some waffles). It wasn’t on the menu, but they still made it for me, which was awesome. Other than breakfast, the rest of the menu has pretty standard bar food, and beer and cocktails of course. It was pretty quiet in the late morning, but I assume it gets more busy at night. I would come back again for breakfast after a midterm(haha) or better yet a drink. I should have gotten a drink, huh. Overall, it’s a cool bar near CSUF. Thanks!

It’s after softball games, whether win or loss, when we arrive here. Sometimes we come in with buzzed excitement. Others with less enthusiasm. Regardless, coming here for drinks and food are a good time. Deco: 3 stars Big’s doubles up as both a bar with a restaurant and joint liquor store adjacent to it. The place is colored darkly with alcohol adverts and big sports’ event posters lacquered on the walls. Big screens filled with different games light up the interior and the tables are both large and small accommodating the different types of company entering. The space is large though the set up of tables and floor levels make it seem smaller than it actually is. Still, it’s sizeable for a party of 2 or a party of 15. Service: 3 stars The service is middle of the pack with timely service though nothing special. The aesthetics of the servers do have a high curve and getting the right one could lead to interesting quips with good looking people. Food: 3 stars The food is standard bar fare with a bit of intrigue. Their flautas are well sized and dressed to the nines. The burgers are customized meaning you only have yourself to blame for underachieved burgers. The fries are seasoned nicely and the potato skins are loaded and huge. Overall the flavors will quelch any hunger spoiling your belly but as far as elevating your expectations for bar cuisine, it’ll simply be a blip. Beers: 4 stars This place has a healthy variety of different brews to satiate your thirst and with an actual great number of them falling into the happy hour menu you can drink a kaleidoscope of beers for a great price. From Guiness to Kona Island Brewing Company you have some golden ales and lagers to look forward to. Pricing: 4 stars Throughout the week Big’s has plenty of specials going on throughout the day such as $ 5 burgers on Mondays or happy hour from 3PM — 7PM Monday — Friday or 10PM — 12AM every night. Conclusion Big’s is a bar that boasts a great selection of foods and brews without breaking your bank. It can host many or as few friends you’d like and also has good looking people serving you. Big’s is a bar that hovers around the 3 – 4 star rating. What’ll really make the experience great will be who you come with and the mood you’re in. Just make sure you’re ready to eat and have a good time. Go Big or go home… but drive safely following the rules of the road please.

Big’s is a bar/restaurant on State college, just south of Champan ave in Fullerton. I have come here for a couple of client meetings, and it’s perfect for what I am looking for! Something that is decent with decent prices, I’m not always looking to spend 40 – 50 to eat out. I strongly recommend coming during their happy hour; you can eat and drink and spend $ 10 – 15. Of course the menu is basic for a happy hour, nachos, wings, etc. I recommend trying out the Tuna tostadas; they use a decent sushi grade tuna with some sriracha sauce that isn’t bad at all! They also have good beer specials if that is your thing. The service was good – college waiters and waitresses, everyone was friendly, and they brought the food and drinks out fast. While I wouldn’t come here for a traditional dinner, this is a good location if you are meeting someone real quick, or if you are looking for a place to go while watching the game.

Super solid Bar & Grill. Parking’s abundant because it’s in Fullerton. It was also my first time here. Met up a friend for an overdue dinner. on Mondays they have«make your own burger» for $ 5 with 3 dollar beers(great selection of domestic and import). On Tuesdays, they have taco tuesdays(taco for a dollar). I know all this because my friend was raving about this place when I got there. Décor is your standard sports bar & grill. Booths, tables, and bar seats galore. TVs everywhere so we got to watch March Madness and NBA which were great. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. She recommended that we try the Fried Mac n Cheese balls, which sounded pretty amazing. We ordered our own burgers(my friend got the regular black angus beef patty w hamburger buns, lettuce, green chili, onions, pepper jack, and fries & I got back angus beef patty w sourdough buns, lettuce, green chili, pepper jack, and jalapeño). The Fried Mac n Cheese balls were pretty good, filled with cheesy mac n cheese inside. The serving size is 4 and it definitely whet our appetite for what’s to come. Our burgers were super solid too and the price, you just can’t beat. My only gripe was my sourdough bread; it was bit on the stale side, and it could not hold my burger. I ended up having a very messy eating experience(which I didn’t mind at all). The patty was cooked well and big enough. All the condiments inside were solid as well. Overall, I think this is a great place, and the $ 3 beer? that’s just awesome.
