Wow so I don’t even know where to begin. My 30^th bday is coming up so I decided to get my nails done. Saw that they had great reviews so I went in… It took 3 hours to do my pedicure and it cost me 40 bucks… Eric started on my nails but I walked out. Paid for my pedicure because Vicki did a good job. All I wanted was a French tip. I’m beside myself because Eric told me he was a professional and he knows lol my nails look like there separate from my finger, from the side they go up like there lifting. I’m so disappointed I do t even know what to right… Never going back that’s for sure

I looooove the service you receive when you get your nails done at Captivate. Eric is so kind, and their staff is just as respectful as they can be! I felt so comfortable, and the prices are just right. I usually get my nails done by my house in Diamond Bar, but when I have break from class in Fullerton, I would rather go here. I asked for coffin shaped nails and Eric shaped them soooo beautifully and at the perfect length. I’m going back tomorrow to get my pedicure done, and I’m so excited for the turnout. Def worth giving their spot a chance. It’s small but cozy, and they’re clean. Five stars for sure.

I recently moved to Fullerton because I started school at CSUF and I needed a new nail salon. After seeing the reviews I decided to check Captivate out myself and I’ve enjoyed my visit every single time. Regardless of who helps me, every one of the manicurists are super nice, friendly, as well as very gentle and my manicures and pedicures come out flawless every time. They’re fast, but my nails always look very clean afterwards and I always get exactly what I asked for. I feel very at home at this salon, and I know I’ll be coming back as long as I’m in Fullerton.

Captivate nails is by far the best nail salon for gel acrylics. I can only say acrylics because that is the only service I’ve had done here but WOW! Such a great experience every time. I’m never concerned that my expectations won’t be met.
I have had Eric as a technician all three times, and I don’t think I even want to try anyone else out. He has done a perfect job across the board. Not only does Eric do great nails, but the entire staff has a great attitude and they are all welcoming and very helpful. The salon is super clean and open too. You don’t leave the place in fear that they may have used dirty tools on you. I had no idea what to expect. Since I’m not from Fullerton, I trusted the Unilocalosphere to guide me to a good place and it 100% did.
Their weekend hours are amazing. Not a lot of nail salons are open at 9am on a Saturday. This place is going to be my go to every time I need my nails done no question!

Don’t waste your time and money coming here. So disappointing. Other places with cheaper prices do even better than here. I got fungus not too long after coming here.

I’ve come here 3 times. It sounds a bit odd, but you know I like your work when I’ve returned a second time. Especially with nails, I’m super picky! In the last year I’ve probably been to over 30 nail salons. Not because I’ve wanted to, but because I’ve struggled with finding the right one!
Here’s my situation. My middle finger goes right on my left hand and my middle finger goes left on my right hand. This usually propels the nail salons to do the most bizarre version of a zig zag twisted nail. Never fails. They always say «it’s straight», yet it’s clearly not. Here at Captivate, they rock! Nails are perfect every time. Well, at least the last 3 times.
The husband and wife that work here A+! Usually guys are rough and not as gentle. Not here! A++++!
My nails never break. Though I prefer gel, They last even 3 weeks with length. This girl doesn’t shy away from length!
The chairs are clean and they use a different water bag every time they start a new pedicure.
Bottom line, I can’t say enough good things about this nail salon! I Will keep coming back.

The lady I got was ok but she got my nail shape wrong despite my showing her a very clear photo. She just assumed I wanted a coffin shape? She did the same thing when she glued the sticker. She assumed I wanted ring when I said middle and I noticed too late.
***ALSO AN ACRYLIC SET WITH GEL AND FRENCH TIPS = $ 49 and they said they didn’t charge for the sticker. That’s way over what I usually pay. They said that just the gel costs an extra $ 17? Oh well. Now I know.

Been 2 weeks since getting a full set and they still look great! Haven’t lifted at all and Im rough on my nails! Highly recommend Eric!

Literally my first time here, and I am absolutely so satisfied with my nails! I got coffin (or ballerina) acrylic shaped nails and a matching pedicure. The color is spiced berry or spice berry (478) with a matte top coat. Anyways, the male who did my hands did an amazing job, so did the woman who did my pedicure. Ahh! I’m loving them. Totally ready for fall.

I am so happy with the service and my nails. I have never felt so comfortable and have never felt so satisfied with the way my nails came out. I came to get a regular full set Color And Pedi and at other salons i am usually pressure to get GEL, but not here. Lynn was amazing and the foot massage i received was great. Will definitely be coming back again. Service is amazing and prices as well:)

Had a pretty good experience with getting a gel manicure and my nails turned out pretty well! This is a great place to go to. My gel manicure was $ 25, so it’s not too bad.

This will be the last time I come here. They overcharged me on my waxing even though I’ve been there multiple times. I would never recommend this place because I think it was a rip off.

My friend and I had an appointment at 3. We were immediately seated after picking our color. The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful with nice smelling lotion. We were given complementary water bottles. My experience was okay, despite getting cut by the finger nail clipper, my nails came out nice. I had gotten the regular manicure for $ 12.
My friend on the other hand (hehe…get the pun) didn’t had the experience she expected. They didn’t shape her nails right and her nails chipped immediately after drying. They kept persuading us to get gel. My friend felt like she threw money down the drain.

I stumbled upon this place after school (I go to CSUF) and Lynn is amazing she does a wonderful job! This is gonna be the new spot I go to. She is super friendly and kept a full conversation going with me and styled my nails the exact way I like them and they turned out so amazing! She got the shape of my nails perfect. I highly recommend going to this place and they are fairly priced too! Thanks Lynn for being amazing at what you do :)

I NEVER leave reviews. In fact this is my first review I’ve written on Unilocal,and this place deserves its 5-​Star rating. If you’re looking for a nail salon, this is the ONLY place you should go to. No joke. It’s right between the 99cents on Chapman & State College.
I’m VERY picky with nail salons. I loved that the staff didn’t pressure me to get gel nails, or get acrylics unlike other nail salons. I got a simple pedicure and that was exactly what I wanted, no extra costs. I told them what I wanted and got exactly what I wanted. The pricing is great, it only cost me $ 15, but I left a generous tip because they’re all incredibly kind, funny, and have great hospitality.
In normal nail salons I feel very uncomfortable and I feel like I’m being judged by the staff. However, the second I walked into Captivating Nail Salon I felt very at home and welcome. The staff is beyond my expectations and they are genuinely kind and good hearted people.

First time to Captivate since under the new ownership. I am very pleased with my new set as well as the customer service provided. Everyone is friendly and was offered a water. Eric did my nails & they are exactly the way I like them (I’m usually very picky with the shape). Would definitely recommend this nail salon.
