If you don’t eat sushi, then don’t go here. Everyone in my fam says the sushi is good and they always go here, and I used to always go, but the non sushi food blows. We actually waited an hour for them to seat us, only for then to take us to outside dining where we were the only guests… waited to be seated in an empty outside cold patio. I went here cause I always give multiple chances and the the whole fam likes the sushi. To my suprise it actually got worse. I got beef and broccoli, or should I say water chessnut an carrot meal. More than half of the ingredients were chessnuts and carrota. I wish I took pictures for you gus. But don’t worry it was garbage.

Sunkist roll is my addiction. Also, have had consistently better experiences here the last few times, and even while they were super busy! The sushi chefs are great, very personable and the sushi is amazing. Wasn’t in today but the last time I was in I was given a small token of appreciation for being so patient when they were in the weeds. I appreciated being appreciated. Will be back soon for some more Sunkist roll!

The food was good but was way overpriced. The place is not sanitary, my dishes/silverware was always still alittle dirty. The waiters/waitresses are attentive but reek of cigarettes/smoke. The hosts are nice. The managers are never on sight. Every time I asked to speak to the manager because of an issue with my dish, my waiter/waitress could never find them. Overall, its not worth visiting.

Krystal did a wonderful job with our big group! Definitely worth the wait for the service she provided. Good all star too!

I used to come at least twice a month. Especially for Sunday Brunch… But the sushi/sashimi stopped being fresh… Even for weekday and weekend dinner times!!! Actually it was so warm I asked the waiter to put my order in the freezer until my mom’s food arrived… Gross. I will not be back to eat. Maybe just to drink. It’s a shame because the wait staff is so nice… :/

I took my wife for a Valentine’s lunch and the food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the surf and turf, fried rice, calamari, and lobster roll and my wife is still talking about how great the food was. We will definitely be going back soon. The only negative thing was the wait. It took 60 minutes for us to be seated. Took my wife back on 2−28−16 and the service and food was bad! I don’t know what happened. We were in shock of the drastic change. The food tasted different. The rice was way too salty. The ladies at the front desk were rude. We were so disappointed.

First off, BOTTOMLESSMIMOSAS. 3 different juices(but the chop suey is clearly the best choice). I’ve been to a lot of all you can eat sushi places, this one takes the cake. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate everyone and the sushi/sashimi is fresh and delicious. I’d recommend this place to anyone. For 25 bucks you this deal is a steal. Great ambiance/music too!

We came here for lunch because kopan ramen was having kitchen maintenance. it ended up a big mistake… I ordered their lunch combo salmon and mixed tempura and let me tell you that was the worst salmon and tempura I have ever had… the batter on tempura was thick and sweet. Honestly, I had better tempura at AYCE places. Salmon teriyaki was soaked with the heavy sweet teriyaki sauce and you can tell it’s Korean owned by the way they heavily use sesame seeds on everyhting. Besides food being mediocre their service is mediocre too. We had to ask bus boy for refills and other stuff because the server was no where to be found. Oh, they also don’t give you change back… our bill was $ 29.69 and we gave them $ 40 they gave us back only $ 10 and no change… whaaat? When we asked they said they don’t give change back. .why?! Because they said it’s their corporation rules! Its not a big deal 0.31 cents for us but what is a big deal is they just rob your change day in and day out… by the end of the day they make a lot $$$ from your change. Never going back even if kopan is closed

They discontinue the all you can eat. Came in today I was told they only have regular dining now I mentioned their website still has the AYCE ad. The girl said they don’t have control over that. What??? So who dies then??? I drove from Santa Ana to Fullerton for this. NOTCOMINGBACK. What a waist of time.

There’s nothing special about this place. I work close by. I went here for lunch once. It took 40 mins for my food to come and it wasn’t that busy at that time. They had probably around 3 – 4 tables including us.

My family and I came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday and although it’s a run-of-the-mil teppanyaki restaurant, we all enjoyed ourselves — food and experience. One thing was noticeable — they had more entrée selection. Not to mention, by the time you get to your main dish, you’ll be almost full from your soup, salad and veggies. You’ll certainly have leftovers and barely(or no) room for dessert.

Their sushi is aight. I would recommend the popcorn lobster sushi :) But this place is so worth the experience for the tempanyaki grill show! Come here with a group of your fav peeps or your fambam because they know how to pump up a party mood.

Tonight, I visited Chomp not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their rolls. My parents ordered a Chinese Chicken Salad thinking it’d be a nice little appetizer, but it turned out to be a GIANT salad bowl. The rolls were also generous in size. Surprisingly, the Caterpillar Roll(a common roll you can find at most sushi places) was my favorite, with the Sushi Blossom(assorted fish wrapped imitation crab) was a close second. At the end, they even gave us a small fruit salad. While the price is slightly high for sushi, I enjoyed the food and would recommend others to give it a try.

So I love coming to this place when I come visit from Florida. The menu has so much to choose from and it all looks so delicious I want it all. The place is located in downtown Fullerton and is great for all party sizes. We were a group of 9. Seeing that we were a large group I thought the wait would be long, but the sat us after ten minutes. We were seated outside which even in cold weather is perfect, because they have the patio covered and have heaters. Now to the food, we ordered calamari, stuffed mushrooms and edamame. The calamari wasn’t anything to rave aboot and the mushrooms I really didn’t care for. I think the sauce just didn’t go. The edamame were good, but you can’t go wrong with that. For dinner I ordered the pacific roll, which has salmon and spicy tuna and is to die for delicious! The fish was fresh and nicely presented. We also ordered the tornado roll, which when you read the description you’re going to be like«what the heck? hash brown on sushi???» But let me tell you, that combination is amazing. It’s cute too because at the end of the roll they do a hash brown swirl that looks like a little tornado. So I highly recommend those two rolls. The service, unfortunately, was my only«ehhh» if you will. Not to say that our server wasn’t nice, but he seemed overwhelmed and getting the food took a little while longer than expected. Also a couple of things that went with the meals were missing and we had to ask. Overall though, despite the fact our server seemed flustered, I can say he did a decent job and I will forever come back to this place seeing this to me was an isolated experience that’s why I’ll give it four stars instead of three.

Happy Hour all day Monday! I frequent this restaurant about 2 to 3 times per month. I enjoy it during dinner time. If you come after 10:00 pm-you get a bunch of loud drunk people who not only can’t hold their drink-they can’t hold their voices down either. Massive loud shouting, and the gong going off-makes for a chaotic atmosphere. The food is good, and the server go out of their way to provide a pleasant dinning experience. I love the fried rice with chicken with a side of CA rolls.

If you like your sashimi accompanied by the lyricism of Sir Mix-a-lot, you’ll love Chomp. Chomp appears to have been some kind of club back in its hay day. All grown up, it’s now a pretty good sushi spot! The décor is odd: lots of recessed pillars, oversized booths, mirrors, and strobe/party lights. Music is a little loud and the choice is odd(90’s hits which are half the the catchy) Really enjoyed the pacific roll(California roll + salmon) and the zen roll. Good stuff. Wasabi was a bit weaksauce though. Service was ehh pretty good. They did their best despite seeming understaffed. Would come back again.
