New chefs and new owners, not what it used to be. Meat quality tastes«questionable?» They need to rotate it better. Also chow mein was greasy and only had 5 – 6 piece of meat in there. Clearly they’re sacrificing quality for more $$ Used to be a regular here but no more, Kung pao house next door has better food and they’re cheaper.

This our new Chinese food place! We had the Teriyaki chicken, chicken fried rice, pot stickers, shrimp tempura, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was fresh and delicious. Employees were friendly. I can’t wait to try the orange chicken next time.

I have been a customer since 2 years and their food was amazing but my order today was DISGUSTING! I believe it is due to the management change! The new food tastes nothing like the old one and the portion size is much smaller!!! Never again!

Unfortunately this place is under new management with an entirely new staff. They still have a long way to go to match the expectations of this restaurant. Unfortunately right now it doesn’t deserve to carry the reputation when it had while under the old management and staff. If you decide to eat here just know that the old reviews do not apply anymore. It’s sad because my wife and I use to love eating here.

I got the Kung Pao 3 delight, shrimp fried rice, honey walnut shrimp and hot and sour soup for my family. The Kung pao was good but had too many water chesnuts(a clear indication of sacrificing quality for profit), the fried rice was just ok, the rice was aged, not very firm and the color was a little off, and a bit mushy, the honey walnut shrimp was mushy, not slightly crisp as it should but the flavor was good. The Hot and sour soup was ok but something off on the flavor, didn’t have the«flavor/contrast punch’ as you expect from this soup and there was an ingredient included that doesn’t belong that I can’t identify. Other problem was the poor value, this was for my family and it should have been enough food and I ordered all FAMILYSIZE but the portions were small. The«family size» was a single serving for me(I’m not overweight and I eat healthy serving sizes) so I didn’t expect 5 pound servings but I estimate the family size was under 15 ounces. Unfortunately, this is a restaurant that cuts on portions and important steps in the cooking process. BUT, the flavors were good. I assume a greedy owner is at work here sacrificing portion sizes for profit. The Family pack for $ 30 at Panda is much more food and tastes good whereas we spent $ 50 here. So there you have it, greedy management taking an otherwise good restaurant in the the crapper. When will some people learn you can’t get away with this in the Unilocal world? Owner, if you respond to this review, telling me you have changed your practices I’ll try again and update this review… until then.

I love this place! It’s made fresh and has great prices. Many times I get it delivered from here. I love that they have brown rice option. I’ve taken many friends there who love to go there with me. I love the tempura shrimp. Only thing I don’t like is the soda machine, it tastes carbonated instead of syrupy. It’s my favorite Chinese food place.

We’ve dined in and ordered to-go. Each experience has been a good one! The food is always delicious and the prices are unbeatable. Plus they prepare the food fairly quickly which is convenient. The hot and sour soup and crab wontons are my favorite!

I usually love eating here. I picked up my orange chicken combo on my way home from work. Half way through my dinner I bit into something really hard and spit out my food to find a piece of glass. I had to throw away the rest of my food for fear of biting into more glass or swallowing small pieces. So disappointed. I would have reviewed this place with 5 stars had this never happened.

I enjoyed the house special fried rice. I ordered it spicy to kick it up a notch. It comes with chicken, beef, shrimp, peas and carrots to make it tasty. The large portion is enough to satisfy two hungry people. Plenty of hot chili sauce and house sauce to make your dish as spicy as you want it.

Ok so driving aimlessly through OC I stumbled upon this Asian gem. That said here’s my experience at KPBBISTRO. So me and my girl have been trying to find good Chinese ever since we moved to Whittier. Needless to say we have been coming up dry. So we decided to venture into OC territory and I’m very happy we did. As soon as I walk in I see a policeman stuffing his face. That’s always a good thing cause police eat out allot you get the gist. Anyway I kindly ask the gentleman at the counter what he recommends for a first timer. He immediately points the Kung Pao Trio I believe that’s what it was called anyhow. My girl wanted to order the pad tai and I advised against it. Immediately the gentleman who could not help over hearing us, said«trust me just because this is not a Thai restaurant does not mean we can’t make the best Pad Thai» Ok Pad Thai it is then. Our food is brought to our table and I could not be more happy with our order. I say this without any hesitation my friends this is the best Kung Pao you will find anywhere! My girls Pad Thai was nice, but my Kung Pao was the star of this show my friends. All the right flavors with all the right textures and I leave doing my happy dance and looking forward to my next visit. Five stars easily for the great customer service and excellent food!

First time here was this past week and I ordered 3 different dishes and eggroll appetizers. It was AWESOME. Food was«bomb.com»: freshly made, very tasty, good portions for a fair price. One of my eggrolls was a bit too cold for comfort in the center — I mentioned it to the staff and they were very courteous and brought out a new order for me. I’ll be back — there just might be hope for good food in Fullerton. P. S. If your ever worried about safety, that should be no concern here — this seems to be the place where the local PD like to go to.

I got the lunch special combo which is $ 9.99 + $ 1.25 for a soup and egg roll. The teriyaki chicken was soggy and doesn’t seem to be cooked as much. Seems oily it could’ve been crunchy by the look of it. The flavor is very very light barely there. The sauce may be the part that makes its seem oily, if the sauce was thicker it’d probably keep the flavor on the chicken rather than a puddle at the bottom. I also got the sweet and sour soup which is great, love it. The egg roll was super crunchy, one of the best! I’d go back for the soup and egg roll. Overall it’s decent.

This is our go-to chinese takeout restaurant. They always arrive on time, the food is always delicious, and they’re super friendly. I obviously recommend it and would go back since it’s our go-to place. Also love that you can order delivery and takeout through Unilocal.Makes things so much easier. I hate talking on the phone. Our personal favorites at my house are: walnut shrimp, cashew chicken, orange peel chicken, eggflower soup, and I forgot the name of the flat noodle with beef and broccoli is called… but I love it. Pad see ew? I donno. I’m pretty sure everything is good. :)

We are new to Fullerton and this was out first Take-Out/Delivery experience in town. After our order was delivered wrong, I called immediately and spoke to the manager Michael. He was amazing, completely turned the whole experience around… We went from angry and hungry to happy and satiated! We will definitely call for delivery again from KPB. They care about the customer experience and are committed to ensuring a positive outcome. Well Done Michael.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. In the beginning the quality of the food was superb. However as time went by the food quality started to deteriorate. I usually get the orange chicken and hot and sour soup so I have a pretty good idea on how their quality has changed. Sometimes it’s too salty, sometimes too soggy etc. So as time went by I started to eat here less. After a year hiatus from this place I decided to come back for another try. I was really craving for some good hot and sour soup. The best in the area was from 369 on Euclid by the 5 freeway, but they closed down. Anyways I walk in and to my surprise the owner, who used to man the place in the beginning years, is now back in the front lines. I ordered the usual, orange chicken with hour and sour soup. And yes, it was as good as it was in the beginning. Was it because the owner was there to supervise? Very likely. So if the owner is there, she’s a nice lady with short hair, then yes this place is 4 stars for the price and taste. If she’s not there my experience has been between a 2 and 3.

I had a craving for some Chinese food and this place always pops up as a near me that delivers so I figured why not and it has good reviews. I’ll have to admit, I expected a 2 item combo type place that’s been sitting under heat lamps all day but this place is definitely not that. They make your order fresh, which is a plus! I ordered the chow mien with chicken and the portion was huge! Lots of flavor, I didn’t have to add any soy sauce just chili to give it a kick. It seemed a little on the pricey side but with big portions and if you’re sharing it probably wont be so bad. I’ll definitely try them again and take advantage that they deliver.

Tried this restaurant out over the weekend for the first time… on a Sunday. The hours on Unilocal stated they opened at 10:30 which was perfect as it was about 10:25 and we were hungry. The hours on the window were changed to 11am, but the door was open so we went in. Nope, they open at 11. We sat outside for a half hour talking, and went back in at 11 when they opened. The cashier was friendly, and we took a few minutes to order. I couldnt decide what I wanted. Ended up with two lunch specials, both with Orange Peel Chicken and an order of Chicken Chow Mein to share. I was not a fan of the Orange Peel Chicken. The potstickers that came with the combo were really good! The Chicken Chow Mein was fantastic. It had SO much flavor!!! The total of lunch was over $ 30 which seemed quite excessive to me. Next time I will try another dish with the lunch special or just get the Chicken Chow Mein.
