Skimp portions, even for a mini bowl. It’s like thy counted the pieces of chicken they literally put one layer of beef/chicken and there was a hair in it. I asked for onions, twice. Guess what– no onions. What’s sad is I ordered a regular chicken bowl for my fiancé with double meat and it looks like a regular portion of meat. Idk if the owner is some skimp ass Chinese dude or what, but quality is definitely a negative here.

If I could give this flame broiler zero stars, I would. The employees are unprofessional and unfriendly. They also give extremely small amounts of food compared to other flame broilers I’ve been to. Never will I come here again.

Worst service ever… First they gave me my drink with the lid half open and spilled all over my car, no sauce unless you ask for it and the worst thing is that they don’t give you forks. I Called them and ask for a manager there’s no manager on site and the girl that answered the phone all she said is «what happened…

I have been to numerous Flame Broiler locations over the years and this has by far been one of the worst in terms of both quality and service. I have been past this location a lot and the fact that they have a drive thru is cool(although I did not use it) but something just seems off here. Every Flame Broiler I have ever been to has taken several minutes for a bowl to be put together but not here. No more than 1 minute after ordering my food was prepared and bagged and when I looked at it the chicken to rice ratio was way off and the chicken itself was dry as a bone. The door clearly states that they use the Fivestar card program here but when I pulled my card out and presented it to the young lady working the front she had no clue what it was and simply told me this is not something they do(despite the 4×4 logo on the door). Our order was correct so I will give them some credit for that however for a to go order they gave us no utensils, napkins or anything of the sort. Perhaps at this location you have to grab this yourself but I am of the persuasion that these should be put in the bag with the food without question. As I dove into my chicken bowl I had three chicken bones and a large piece of skin which is odd when they preach on all of their signs that they use no skin in their chicken. The quality of the chicken was lacking even after adding several magic sauce(still taste great) to the top and the rice was one giant clump. I am a Flame Broiler fan and perhaps they simply had an off day or new people working but this left little desire to ever return to this location. I will stick with the one near Center Street in Anaheim for my Flame Broiler fix going forward.

I’m writing this review while I am still waiting in the drive through. I’ve been to quite a few flame broilers but this is by far the worst one. We ordered two regular chicken bowls and the amount of chicken is less then what you would put in a mini bowl. When we tried to go in to complain but the cashier made us go back in the drive through and wait in line again. When we told her how small it is her reply was that they only need to give 5 ounces and it was clearly the correct amount. She blamed it on the size of the bowl saying since the new bowls are bigger it makes the portions look small. I will never come back to this location

I enjoy Flame Broiler 2 – 5 times/month, but this is my first and only time trying this location. It’s cool that there’s a drive thru, as this is a converted Walgreens, but the lady working gave priority to the drive thru customers, asking us to wait until she took a couple more drive up orders. The portions were by far more meager than any FB I’ve ever tried, only filling both my bowl and my wife’s bowls 2/3, instead of packed full like all other FBs I’ve ever tried… but they charged the same full price as all other FBs. The serving dishes are the same size everywhere so that customers can count on the same experience, and serving sizes across different locations. I guess that corporate FB doesn’t enforce much control over franchise owners. I was pleased that my [small portion] beef was nicely cooked, trimmed, and gristle free! Also, the super staticky blaring radio station playing was opposite of the desired dining ambiance most people would like.

They must be worried about my waistline! Portions are smaller than other locations. Quality of the food is good no complaints about that. Service could be better but that is adequate as well.

I am a big fan of chicken bowls and I look into details whether the chicken is dry or how good the sauce is, etc. Let me just start by saying that I love Flamebroilers teriyaki(magic) and hot sauce(red). But the reason why it’s not a five star business is because they are shady with their portions and chicken is dry compared to OTHER Flamebroilers. I come here at least twice a week and they don’t hook it up with the portions. If I’m going to pay $ 6.90 for the works bowl then they better work for it and hook it up! But nah they don’t. Only best thing about this spot is the drive-thru. Very convenient. That’s the only reason why I stop by here. But if you have time go to the one on Chapman/Raymond. They give you portions worth your money.

When it comes to rice bowls, this place is nothing special. My family and I would pretty much go here when ever a coupon showed up in the mail. The food, itself, is simply not worth it otherwise. There are plenty of other places near by including, but not limited to, Okazuya that has superior rice bowls. Anyhow, they don’t take coupons anymore, so any reason to come here is now gone.

This location has a really great and friendly staff. Drive thru is super convenient too and they have great priced chicken and beef bowls! My order also came out really quickly and the bowl tastes great! Way healthier than most fast food places!

Awesome chicken and rice bowls. I wish they were bigger bigger bigger though. A chicken bowl with a big giant drink is $ 8. That’s not too shabby in my book. The only bad thin I can think of is that they play KOST103.5 here and I am currently listening to Kelly Clarkson… the food is still good though

This spot has been thru remodeling, new ownership and staff but has always provided good service and food. This is my go to Flame Broiler and don’t even go to the one by my house because it is not good! My order is usually the same which is a chicken veggie bowl with white meat and no onions. It’s a must to get a side of jalapeños to make every bite work. My bowls are always packed with chicken and great soft veggies loving the cabbage. It is a $ 1 more for white meat but they do give u enough. I’ve never received any burnt chicken either. The service has always been friendly. The place is clean and open. I like the high tables to eat and to watch the traffic go by outside. It’s one of my work lunch spots!

Convenient and quick, better for me than having something cheesy but just run of the mill. This location is sometimes hit and miss but lately seems to be getting better. We get takeout since we are so close and we order ahead without issues. Drive thru service is a smidge spotty. I personally don’t like the beef and always get the white meat chicken. If you are in the area and want a chicken bowl, this is a great option.

Love that they have a drive thru. Service was Terrible a couple months ago. They have this girl who I have been seeing in drive thru who is so nice. They also have a 5 star card where you could get a free bowl.

Flame Broiler is quick and delicious! The drive through is a little confusing to figure out which way to drive, but I’ll know for next time! I like how you can get brown rice easily. Definitely get extra sauce!

4.5 stars Fast and reliable service, satisfying portions and ALLYOUCANTAKE sauces(unlike the one on Valleyview). Make sure you look out for coupons in the mail like $ 1 off of any bowl or plate or get a bowl free with a purchase of a bowl or plate and 2 drinks. Call ahead because it takes time to carefully discharge the sauces in the containers. Love the jalapenos mixed together with the chicken or beef and rice. Try it!
