My girls were told to do burpees, push-​ups and sit ups by the director because they couldn’t hold a passé for 41 seconds. They are 7&9, dance should build you up, give you confidence, discipline. I was truly sad that my girls had to experience this kind of treatment. We never went back.

You will not find a dance studio like Kapa anywhere else. Mrs. Tanya, the owner, really cares about all the girls (and boys) who go there. She shows them all ways to feel beautiful and graceful. She knows not all of her dancers will be prima ballerinas one day but that’s not her goal. The goal is for all children to LOVE DANCE. To express themselves and to push themselves to their highest potential. Dancing with Kapa has given my daughter self-​esteem and loving friendships.
