Andy is a very very nice and helpful guy. For the price it’s definitely worth getting lessons from him. He has a mini driving range and putting area set up in the backyard where you will learn and practice. The thing I liked about him the most is that he will examine your form and really try to figure out what you are doing wrong so he can try to correct right away. Then, he also has tricks to pinpoint problem areas and to make them better.

Update: I have been going back to Andy for additional lessons off and on for over a year and a half. When I go for a period of time without playing or feel like I need to review basics or pick up new tips, I return to Andy because I always improve after each lesson. He constantly looks for new ideas to help his students and enjoys sharing a variety of resources with us for at-​home practice. He is a great instructor and even better person! I highly recommend him for any beginner as well as any experienced golfer who would like to sharpen his/​her skills.

I’ve taken a few lessons from Andy and will continue to do so. He is kind and calm and very knowledgeable in golf. He is genuine and will take the time to improve your skills even if it means time is up. I’m pretty much a beginner and my technique has improved a ton since i’ve had just 2 lessons with him. His pricing is great, considering how expensive golf lessons can be these days. Another benefit is that he teaches at a private location where he has personally created a mini course in his backyard. No interruptions or judgement. I absolutely recommend Andy!

My wife and I decided to take lessons with Andy after he gave us a few pointers at West End. We were both beginners who enjoyed playing, but definitely needed some direction. Not only did Andy improve our game drastically, he showed us how to critique each other, making sure we keep improving. Andy is a genuinely good guy, a great teacher, and a new friend.
