In Gainesville for the day and stayed here! Never been in hotel where you can literally here the next rooms conversation without them yelling, not to mention you could hear the person above you walking around. How about installation/sound proofing! Last stay here if you want a good nights sleep! I could have dealt with it if it was a football weekend!!! But it was a Tuesday night!

I had a wonderful stay for one night on October 22, 2015. The hotel was in a great location and convenient to Gainesville and I-4. Jon at the front desk was able to get me in the perfect room for my short stay. Fitness room was well maintained and elliptical machine provided a nice work out. Tried a late night snack at the bistro and was very impressed with the shrimp potstickers(thanks again to Jon, this time for the recommendation on the Bistro menu). Great stay and will be back next time I am in Gainseville.

This is my first time staying here and I’m pretty happy with my stay. I original booked for one night. I come up here to go to Shands. I ended up needing a room for 2 nights. I called from my hospital bed to book the extra night .no problem even assured me it would be the same room. The rooms are clean beds aren’t bad. Staff is nice. I would pass on the Bistro. I tried it twice both times were a waste of money. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Not to far from the hospital and shopping isn’t far.

Clean, bed is comfy… No q-tips where the hell are the q-tips. Starbucks downstairs was magical. Tiny tiny gym but doable. Comfy bed. That was golden. Oh and no safe in the room… So I had to take my million dollars with me.

This was just your typical Courtyard. The room was clean. I wish they offered free breakfast in the mornings at Courtyards.

Nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Beds were cozy, room was clean. Great gym that was empty every time I was in it. All state of the art equipment. That alone is worth admission price. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby every morning and it was really good coffee. Overall, no complaints.

Location was very convenient. It’s close to the highways; plenty of eateries bear by; as well as shopping if you happen to for got anything. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious with a nice TV. Plenty of channels for viewing pleasure. Only drawback was that the heater/AC unit is a bit loud.

Easy access to I-75 and to Archer Road the main road to the University of Florida. Check in was very smooth and the receptionist(very friendly) already had our reservation printed out, and had a welcome bag with water and maps ready for us. The room was a two-doubles(family of 4) and easily fit the roll-a-way that we asked for. The room was equipped with free WiFi, a college fridge and a microwave. The beds were very comfortable and there were enough pillows for everyone. The pool is out door; not huge but a nice chill out, cool down spot. But once kids come in it does get loud. Lots of eating places within a mile of the hotel; a Publix and their liquor store are across the street; everything from Arby’s and other fast foods to decent family restaurants and Bentos(see my review). They have snacks, wine and beer for sale(I drove over to Publix). We did not make it up to check out the breakfast. We enjoyed it as a family. We would definitely would come back.

Clean, very spacious room. Very friendly staff at check-in(at 8pm) and at check-out in the morning. Nice little spread for breakfast included and was fully stocked. Drawback was that the floors are thin and you can hear the people above your room walking, just like the people below you can hear you walking. But the best part of this place is that they had, easily, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Not just in a hotel. EVER. Wanted to steal it. Found out it’s a tempurpedic and the wife & I are planning on purchasing one now. Great for gamedays or just stopping through, a solid hotel.

We have had great experiences at Marriot Courtyard hotels in the past, but this one was just awful. Service was rude and un-accomodating right from the start. You have to hit a wall buzzer just to get in to the place. We were not happy with our room and wanted to upgrade, but they refused to change the reservation because we made our reservation«online». We always make our reservations online, but I had never heard this excuse before. It turns out, that we had already paid more for our basic room than the upgraded suite would cost(at the local prices) and the manager was not able to figure out how to make the computer give us the suite(or some such nonsense). She was completely unapologetic and had a very sassy immature attitude. At 5:30AM(yes!), the housekeeping started cleaning the room above ours. Vacuuming and talking loudly and pushing furniture and pounding around like elephants. We got out or earplugs, but still couldn’t block out the noise. We finally called the front desk around 6:30 and they said they would go up «to check on it». After that, the talking and vacuuming stopped, but the pounding continued to keep us awake. The bathtub in our bathroom had some strange gray and pink stains and the floor tiles were showing obvious soiling. Would not recommend.
