I have been to this location a couple times since the Lake City location closed down, and they have been very helpful so far. I always purchase their 2 year warranties, and they are a lifesaver! The staff has always been friendly to me, but it seems they have a little trouble getting to every customer when they are overly busy, which is understandable.

To bad we have to have like the crappiest radio shack I’ve ever been to in our town. No clue how this place stays in business. Parking isn’t the greatest. But it is ‘The Shack’ and they do carry things that you can’t find elsewhere to repair your electric things that break at home. I would have given the 3 stars we it not for the absolutely crappy, awesome, smart ass service I got the last time I was in there.

I went here to get a new AC adapter for a speaker and it was possibly one of the WORST customer service experiences I’ve ever had… definitely at a radioshack. We walked into the store and were not greeted by either of the two ladies working there; they had cell phone customers at their desks but they saw us walk in and could have at least said; welcome we will be with you as soon as possible. Instead we got nothing. We wandered around for about 10 mins until we finally found what we were looking for… which was right next to the checkout counter. It took another 5 mins of staring at the wall for one of the women to look up and ask us something. She gave us about two mins and went right back to her conversation. It wouldn’t bother me that they were both busy with customers and that I had to wait for them to be finished if they weren’t dragging their feet with them so much. They were carrying on casual conversations with them, taking their information easy as you please… ASIFTHEREWEREN’T EIGHTOTHERPEOPLEINTHESTOREWHOALLNEEDEDASSISTANCE. After trying several of the plugs and obvisouly struggling with making them work, and due to the utter lack of any help, I decided to buy batteries for the speaker since it’s a wireless. I then waited another 10 mins for them to finish with their cell phone customers(who were still the same ones from when we walked in). I put the batteries down, said screw it I’m outta here, and walked out. Not a word from the two ladies at the desk. Another couple walked in and were waiting around for a while until the man inquired if they had the 199.00XBOX. One girl looked up and said, «I have no idea», and then completely ignored him. WTF??? I don’t have too many instances where I left a store so mad and disappointed, but this definitely ranks up in my top three worst customer service experiences ever. GOTOANOTHERRADIOSHACKANDSAVEYOURSELFTHEHASSLE. This one obviously doesn’t care about your business.
