We’ve had air vent issues in one of our bedrooms and, without fully investigating, another HVAC company told us it was simply an air return/​end of the line issue. We were not convinced this was the problem and had Atlantic Coastal come out for a second opinion. The owner, Jamie, came out and helped us to discover that the flex venting in our ceiling was partially collapsed and needed to be replaced. We were quoted a fair price and we were able to schedule the work for the next week. Once again, Jamie came out to do the work himself and, upon discovering that the work was not as involved and would not take as long as originally thought, charged us less than originally quoted. After their work, the airflow was significantly better! Jamie and his assistant worked quickly and were very clean… wearing shoe covers and leaving the room cleaner than when they started! After quite a few recent bad contractor experiences, it was very refreshing to work with such a responsive and honest company! We will definitely keep Atlantic Coastal in mind for our future HVAC needs.

We’ve used Atlantic Coastal for several quite different projects over the past year, including installing a Fujitsu mini-​split system in a new addition to our house, duct work for a new dryer install, and installation and duct work for a new overhead kitchen vent. Having dealt with dozens of contractors of all kinds in the past, I’ve found Jamie and his crew to be one of the most responsive and customer service-​oriented, in addition to doing great work overall. There are very few contractors I could honestly recommend, but Atlantic Coastal is one that I’d be more than happy to. We have been extremely satisfied with their work.

Jamie Carmen (owner) is happy to help you learn about your system and how it works. He has always offered several options where appropriate when we’ve needed service. I felt confident when we had our heat pump replaced recently that his company offered a fair price and would do a good job with the install.
