a good selection of wines from around the country and the world. They even have a designated section for organic wines. The craft beer selection continues to expand. Once you get to know the clerks, they are happy to make recommendations.

Set far back of the sad, aging strip mall, next to a Jerry’s sub, and the Fitness First not too far away, there the store stood. As I pulled up, desperate for a bottle of wine — any bottle of wine, I eyed the fading red«Beer and Wine» sign, and again doubt crept into my mind. Plastered with garish neon signs for Yueng-ling, and Budwiser beer, I knew that I had hit rock-bottom. My trendy image-conscience little soul couldn’t continence buying beer at such a pathetic place, let alone wine! Yet… yet, how can I show up at the dinner party without a bottle of Shiraz in hand? With yuppy-angst in my heart, I walk in. And was confronted with tightly packed rows and rows of wines! Wines from all over the world! I was overwhelmed by Coppolas, and Yellow Tail and Fat Bastards, and Red Bicyclettes… all of the basics any good yuppy needs to gain entry into any pretentious dinner party. I was saved!!! Although the outside of this dinky little beer and wine doesn’t look promising — the selection of wines inside is tremendous!!! I suppose that old adage«don’t judge a wine store by it’s store front» is true.
