Olney BBQ

Need more veggies available to order for sides! I love the pulled pork here! They also have several bbq sauces available for you to pick from. Someday I will have to try the ribs but right now I’m too hooked on the pork!

Who would know that fantastic BBQ could be served out of an Airpark office strip?
The food: Burgers, BBQ pork and brisket, Gyros, Turkey burgers and Hamburgers, Hot-​Dogs.
I so far have had both BBQ selections as well as both burgers, all of which were great. At an affordable range of $ 7.00 to $ 9.00 per selection (Depending on sides), this has become a Go-​To lunch destination for us here at the office.
The pork and brisket are smoked overnight right outside the café in a giant smoker trailer.
I assure doubters that the meats are not «Left overs» and are cooked on site specifically for lunch service. My band practices in my very shop up the street and I have smelled it smoking late at night… MMMMMMMM.
Freddy and his staff (Carrie, Madi, and Nic) are super cool and polite. I have yet to have a bad experience with anyone or an menu item.

Friendly staff, delicious food! They were very good about accommodating any food allergies I had. The owner also seemed interested in learning about my allergies so as to provide better service in future. So good I hired them to cater my wedding!

If you don’t like vinegar then don’t use the vinegar sauce, duh. The sauce as well as the BBQ are as good as you will find anywhere around here and better than most in North Carolina. I took a North Carolina friend yesterday and he agreed the pulled pork is very good. This place should be much more crowded, just off the beaten track thank goodness. If near the airport, go here sometime, you will not be disappointed unless you really don’t know what is good. Oh, the collards are super as well!

Totally agree with S.L. I thought the very same thing re: the pulled pork being leftovers. Also his vinegar based ‘sauce’ is way too vinegary! Not going back or using this service if I ever need catered bbq.

The owner is a great guy. Very friendly.
The meat they use just sits out on the counter. If you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the lid that goes on the foil tray, and see the date that it was cooked on. The meat that is used seems to be left overs from the catering business they have. I’ve seen meat being used that’s over a week old. It’s also always microwaved to order.
This is not fresh BBQ. It’s week old meat being tossed into a microwave.
I’m a big BBQ fan. I get tired of going to BBQ places when they’re all half assed, and micro wave their food. Blue Ribbon down the street does the same thing.
