Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club

So unfortunate that this is the closest pool and tennis to us. We long left the tennis program do to some really shady behavior of the staff and now drive to Bethesda for tennis. The pool is a whole other story. After multiple complaints of the lifeguards using comet to scrub the pool during the busy swim times literally next to my children is disturbing enough. Not sure of the brain surgeon behind that decision. But the woman in charge of swimming, Pam is truly a special piece of work. She is rude, obnoxious, and will literally put all her crap on your table, despite EVERY OTHER TABLE being open, and will hold meetings and when confronted on her intrusion into your personal space will laugh at you and tell you yeah that’s what we do. How fun for the paying member to have to deal with when trying to relax at the pool. It’s a pretty poorly run place, but sadly it’s where we are stuck. Don’t join if you have any other viable option or you will just be really irritated. But if you’d like to work on your passive aggressive skills, by all means you will get a lot of practice.
