This was one of those mall food court places, what can I say? People I work with love these foods, so we always end up at the mall for lunch. Even though they say Texas Barbecue Factory on the banner, the people working in the back are actually Chinese and most likely own by one as well.
I got a sausage combo, and to my surprise was not crappy at all for mall food. The sausages were nicely done and juicy on the inside along with a bit of spiciness in them. The corn and greens were both fresh with nice color. Staffs were friendly, and they are probably one of the better choices in this Lakeforest mall food court.

This is one of the stalls in the food court at Lakeforest Mall. I have always particularly liked two of the items that Texas Barbecue prepares: the ribs and the sausage. Unfortunately, the Wheaton Mall location closed a while ago (apparently, they had a fire, and although they at first indicated they planned to re-​open, they never did) and the White Flint location does not have the sausage I like so much. But today I happened to get up to Lakeforest Mall — I don’t often get out that far, but I needed to go there today — and I saw the location in the food court there did have the sausage. It was just as good as always. I just wish they’d reopened at Wheaton Mall.
