Windsor Cleaners

These people are unbelievable! After being a faithful customer for over 5 years, they still treat you like garbage! I bought a new sweater for $ 49.50 about a month ago and brought it to Windsor Cleaners before wearing it. They completely ruined the sweater by using a chemical which bleached the color out of it. I took the sweater back to them and asked them to pay for it. The owner lied and said she wasn’t the owner, screamed at me that the sweater wasn’t new and refused to do anything about it. I left my info for the «owner» and never heard from them. I returned today, a week later, only to find out I was dealing with the owner all along. Now the sweater is on sale and they want to give me $ 29.95 for it!!! Bottom line they would rather lose a long time customer over a lousy $ 20.00 then to just make it right! Go to Apple cleaners across from Lakeforest Mall in the Exxon, their prices are way better and your clothes are finished when promised. You will also always be greeted with a smile!

I give this one star not because of service but because of price. I did not get my clothes cleaned here because the price was 3 times more than my usual dry cleaning place. I wanted to give this place a fair try because it had a Unilocal deal and they had a good review and boasted same day cleaning.
I went in, the gentleman at the counter was aware of the Unilocal deal, which was cool. He counted how many items I had, which were 10 items. Nothing extraordinary, no suede or leather or silk or comforters or wool or tailoring. Just 3 dresses, 1 skirt, 2 shirts, 2 blazers, 1 pant, and 1 sweater. To the tune of $ 75. With the Unilocal coupon. I politely let the gentleman know that I would not be using their services and asked for my items back. He went to ask an associate if he could negotiate. She said no, the price was fair because I had 3 dresses (?!). I asked for my clothes and they complied.
I promptly drove to my usual dry cleaners and for all 10 items, $ 20.
Sorry Windsor, I really wanted to try you guys out.

Great service, professional non-​chemical cleaning, and affordable rates. My husband and I love this dry cleaners and we highly recommend it.
