Garden Party Florist

As the mother of the bride-​Jean was extremely difficult to work with. She did not communicate in a professional manner, I had requested pictures of the center pieces and bridesmaids bouquets that she never supplied. She had her facts confused as to our discussions, (I do not believe she kept proper records of our conversations, maybe she had us confused with other clients? Who knows, I sent her pictures of how we wanted the arch and aisle decorated, and her replica was EXTREMELY poorly made! I even had family members comment on how AWFUL the arch looked it was pathetic! My daughter was embarrassed for her bridesmaids with the cheap, silly looking bouquets. And the mothers were to have purse corsages not the cheap wrist ones she provided.
Incredibly disappointing, for what she was paid, three times the amount of any quotes we received, but she came so highly recommended!
Wish I could show the pictures of what we asked her for (especially the arch) and what she actually did, it was PATHETIC. Terrible listener, it was obvious she only wanted the money.

We had a wedding on a budget, meaning we were limited on how much we could spend. Jean did an absolutely awesome job!

I got married in September 2014 — I love Jean and don’t know what I would have done without her doing the flowers for my wedding. She is a pro and just has an energy about her — after I met with her for two hours in June, I knew everything was going to be taken care of. Such a relief when I had a million other things on my to do list! She worked with my budget, was easy to get ahold of whenever I had questions, and really pushed me to discover what I wanted, to make every aspect of the day personal & beautiful for me & my husband. I hope all of my friends get married in Galena so I can recommend Jean :)

I recently got married in Galena and used Garden Party Florist. What a disappointment! We spent over $ 7000 in flowers that were brown, wilted and almost dead. It was so embarrasing.
Do not be fooled. this woman has NO idea what she is doing. I would not recommend.
