Great place for pizza… probably the bext pizza I have ever had. We ordered ours with pepperoni and extra cheese.
Service was great… we will be back. :)

I agree with Wendy M’s. review… they could have the best pizza around, but that sauce is awful, almost in edible. If they would step up their sauce game and add a regular or better yet, a regular and a spicy, they would be the toast of the town. The crust is excellent and the pepperoni is better than the norm, but the sauce needs some serious attention. Tom — time to put on the chef’s cap and whip up a couple new sauces.

We have had pizza from here several times. Pizza is very good and has a sweet flavor to it. Owner and staff are very very nice. Much better service than other local restaurants.

Could be decent, close to home pizza. Sauce is to sweet for a pizza. If you like an extremely sweet sauce, this place is for you!

Fun place, good pizza and they were super nice to our kids.
I probably wouldn’t come back with the whole family, as it’s a noisy place, but would definitely go back with my wife.

A great little bar with fantastic food. Their wings are smoked and tasty beyond description. The pizza is also fantastic I don’t know what kind of cheese they use, but it is fantastic. The Italian sub is the best I have had by far. There is some type of cheese baked on top of the bun that makes it fantastic. Worth the drive to try it out don’t miss it! The folks who work here are super friendly and round out a fantastic experience. Well worth the drive.

I grew up in Napa California and spent half my life in California and Hawaii. I have also been blessed to be able to travel the world. I now live in Delaware Ohio and have lived in Columbus for two years. I have had a bad taste in my mouth with the respect to food in Ohio. I am now a Realtor here In Ohio and an associate brought me in for the first time today and I almost fell over because for the first time since I have been here I got great service good energy an Italian sub that was amazing and the best wings! It’s not about being the best food in the world it’s about the love they put into their food and shows how easy it it is to make something fresh and that actually tastes great. and beyond reasonably priced! Thanks you guy I will definitely be back!

Great smoked wings in BBQ sauce and incredible pizza. Can’t wait to come back and dine on the patio.

So I’ve never been to Galena & I went to hear my gf’s friend play there. I had no real expectations for the place. From the outside, it looked like a lot of other bars in the country. But then we pulled around the back and I saw the smoker.
Found out that they smoke their wings so I had to order those. I tried the mild & the bbq. The mild is definitely more of a medium and the smokey flavor came out really well. The bbq was also good and could still taste some of the smoke. I could have done with a bit less sauce but very good wings overall. I would definitely recommend them.
We also had a pepperoni pizza. It all comes down to the sauce. If you like a sweeter sauce, you’ll really like this pizza. If not, I think you’ll still enjoy it as the crust and pepperoni was very good.
The beer selection was decent. Living down in Clintonville with 100+ different drafts within a mile of you is hard to compete with. But they would have something for everyone.
Finally, the management and wait staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! However they seemed pretty short staffed and we had to wave them down quite a bit. But they never seemed stressed or bothered by that.
Overall, it’s a really good place for wings, beer, & pizza and if it wasn’t 40 mins away, I’d definitely go back.

Food and atmosphere great there, but our service was terrible. Our waitress did not check back with us. Took almost an hour to get a sub. More of a beer place. Had 2 different red wines & they tasted really bitter like they’ d been open awhile. If they’d work on those things, they’d have something.

Really enjoyed the pizza. The sauce was a little sweet for my liking but the rest of the pizza was great. We also split an Italian sub. It was better than the other close pizza spots. We will def try again soon.

The best smoked wings and yummy pizza! Great little hang out near Alum Creek. I think we will be regulars.

Was looking for a different Pizza place on Saturday night. Saw the one review and decided to try with my wife and daughter. We decided to try an Italian sub, some wings and a Pepperoni pizza. The sub was fantastic. The bun was excellent and had the addition of cheese melted on top. The wings being smoked were fantastic. We did not want dip them in any sauce. The Pizza had a great crust on it. The sauce was very good and had a very good amount of pepperoni on it. We plan on taking our neighbors the next time we go up there. So glad we decided to stop in and check it out. Great service from Chris and Tom. Everyone needs to try this place.

The pizza and wings are AMAZING! This hidden gem is a very small restaurant/​full bar (9 tables and 10– 15 bar seats) with a very small menu (pizza, wings, a salad, Italian sub and ham and cheese sub), but I must say their pizza is INCREDIBLE and the wings are fantastic! The pizza has a unique sweet sauce that blends perfectly with the plentiful cheese, hand-​tossed crust and perfect pepperoni topping! Seriously, this is my new favorite pizza (and I have eaten pizza just about everywhere)! The wings are unique as well. They are smoked for hours so they have a smoked taste that blends very well with the delicious hot sauce! Very delicious! We highly recommend you try their pizza and wings and see for yourself! Our friends that live near Tavern at The Creek tried their pizza and wings (and Italian sub) last night and they agreed and will be purchasing many more pizzas and wings in the future!
