Valley Perennials Florist and Greenhouse

This place was perfect for my wedding. I looked in to some other places but they wanted me to send pictures and did not want to discuss different ideas. Becky was great at helping us come up with some beautiful flower arrangements and even showed us some examples. Their prices are also very reasonable. They were very prompt and courteous. It’s not easy planning a wedding from out of state but Becky always responded to me right away via phone or e-​mail. I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone for floral needs.

Every year It’s our first stop for seasonal hanging baskets and garden succulents. The suggested arrangements /​mixes greatly enhance the gardens we’ve established since moving to the Territories. Tomato and herb plants are of good quality.

I like to say that in school I majored in missing the obvious, but I’d forgotten all about this spot right in the middle of town for flowers and garden supplies. Valley Perennials has a marvelous array of plants, flowers, shrubs, garden décor and small vegetable plants. One of the best things is the 4-​packs of annuals, herbs and vegetables for $ 1.60. And these are not tiny plants, but well on their way to adolescence in most cases. Often the small 4-​pack plants do not transplant well or survive. In any case, you can get enough of these for mixed containers or the garden without breaking the bank. It’s an especially good deal on something like basil where elsewhere you might pay double or more for four plants. After all, you can’t be too thin, or too rich or have to much basil now, can you? Valley perennials is a fun place just to browse everyday, and to find lots of strong healthy plants for your garden.

They did the most spectacular job on all my flowers for the wedding. I told them that I have very avant garde taste and gave them pictures of what I liked and they did more than I ever imagined!!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

As stated previously, planning a wedding far away is not easy. Thanks to Becky, she made it a fantastic and helpful experience. Becky was very flexible with assisting us in our flower arrangements when she already had weddings booked for the same day (luckily we did not need too much done.) thank you Becky for the BEAUTIFUL bouquets! It looked just like I had dreamed. Very much recommended

We just used Valley Perennials for our wedding in July. Becky was such a pleasure to work with, and she really made all of the flowers gorgeous! We wanted a rustic wild flower look for the wedding, and she went above and beyond to make that happen. She even found matching ribbon and twine to use for the bouquets to go with the theme! I would highly recommend using them for any of your events! The price was right, the service was outstanding, and Becky is truly a pleasure to work with!

I was ordering flowers for Mother’s Day today when I realized that I never wrote a review for Valley Perennials!
They did the flowers for my wedding in September 2009. I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about Becky and the staff at Valley! My flowers were gorgeous and budget friendly. I brought them lots of pictures of what I was looking for and they were able to create exactly what I wanted. The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and flowers for my cake were stunning! All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The flowers were delivered to my venue on time with no issues. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Valley Perennials for any event and even just to send a loved one a bouquet — I continue to use them every year to send my mom flowers for Mother’s Day!

We were on our way to see our dear aunt had who just gotten out of the hospital and thought we would bring her some flowers. We stopped by Valley Perennials and they made a gorgeous flower arrangement in a pretty vase while we waited. They were so accommodating and really made something special on the fly. We also ended up with a very unique piece of yard art from their gift shop. We would recommend them and use them again without hesitation.

Planning a destination wedding is not an easy task even if the «destination» is only 3 hours from Chicago.
We had our summer wedding in Galena and was given the name of Valley Perennials as an option for flowers. I am big into research so I took to the internet to find reviews, pictures, etc. After finding it hard to gather information about Galena business I took a chance on Valley Perennials based on the pictures on their website.
I could not have made a better decision. It is a family run business that is down to earth and really understands what it means to have a wedding budget. I met with one of the owners Becky and discussed my vision, and with her guidance everything was stunning. She captured the look and feel of the wedding and left people amazed with the flowers. She even takes it that extra mile with her special touches.
I had no idea what to expect when it came to the cost of flowers but I found Valley Perennials to be really reasonable. Becky even gave me options with different price points to make sure I was comfortable with the budget.
This place is a must for any bride planning a wedding in the Galena area!
