Stop by to drop off some antelope for peppers sticks and get told that they’re too busy and not accepting any wild game. OK, well business must be good enough to turn money away… took my business elsewhere and will not be back. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they do make a good product… when they’re not too busy.

Shop at Costco folks! Meat is over priced, service is just methodical unless your a good ol boy. I used to buy my pellets for my pellet bar b que smoker my wife bought me from there for my anniversary. Workers & owners were never particularly friendly but we try to support our local businesses. Once Costco started selling the smokers & pellets they carried, they changed companies and bad mouth the old company saying the pellets were full of bad chemicals. They were upset that the pellet bar b que pit company was selling the same models at Costco for less and all of a sudden after years of selling that product, it was now the devil! I believe in great quality meat! I am a carnivore! But if I’m gonna lay down big bucks for a steak, prime rib or rib roast, at least make me feel good about shopping with you! At least pretend like u like me, even if you don’t!

I love in Stockton but I seen this place on Unilocal and decided to come try it out. They have choice Meats and the beef jerky sticks are so good! Also is very clean! They also accept ebt snap which is a huge plus! You won’t be disappointed come check it out

First time — picked up the Santa Maria tri-​tip, Jalapeño Cheddar sausage, and Dees’ own beef sticks.
Grilled the sausage last night and the tri-​tip tonight. Fantastic! I shall return…

My boss at work told me about Dees Meats. I work in Stockton and live in Woodbridge. It was worth the drive. I can get a tri-​tip any place, but not like this. I got a wine and garlic tri-​tip that was unbelievable in flavor and one of that was so tender it melted in my mouth. I will be taking this short drive as much as I can. The place is clean and comfortable. Bob made me feel like I was an old customer even though it was my first visit. But not my last!

I have seen Dee’s Meats advertised in the Pennysaver for literally years. I have been meaning to check it out for a long time and yesterday, I finally went. How stupid am I for not having gone sooner?!? I cannot say enough good things about this place, and I don’t want to gush, so here is a list of reasons why I am in love with Dee’s and why I will return again and again AND bring friends:

The only con I found was the teeny tiny parking lot, but whatever! I would park in a field a walk a mile if I had to just to get Dee’s Meats!

Burgundy pepper tri tip is amazing. The others are great as well, but burgundy is the best. I buy them and take them into work for people regularly (Galt is a drive for some folks). The marinated chicken is good, but not my favorite. The marinade sometimes changes the texture of the chicken too much. Still good, but I go for tri tip.

I have been coming to this local jewel for years. I have purchased a few of the package deals, many Burgandy marinated skirt steaks (cut ‘em up for tacos, you’ll be amazed), and bacon. Sometimes I have them cut ¾″ thick «bacon steaks» and cook ‘em on the BBQ.
Always helpful family and staff have taken care of whatever I wanted. I actually go here more since the Raley’s opened because I am in the neighborhood more often.
By the way, the bacon prices are better than Raley’s, and the quality is 10x better!

What a pleasure to stop by and pick up hamburger patties or a Tri-​tip on the way home, to throw on the BBQ.

Great place to get meat. i go to a place in lockford but if i don’t go there i come here to get meat. the price of things is great compared to some places and i do have to say their jerky is amazing to have.

I must add to my previous review. Since the last one, I have grilled a Wine and garlic Tri tip and the Mojito Chicken breast.
Both were fabulous, and not because I cooked them, but because Dees Meats started out with a great quality meat. Neither of the marinated meats were too salty or tough texture.
Both had the perfect amount of marinade, so you would actually taste the meat. Next up, Ribs.

This is an old fashioned meat market if I have ever seen one. And I don’t mean a place where bro’s hit on ho’s.
This place had a great selection of meats for all the BBQers out there. The package deals are hard to beat. I bought one last summer (Bob’s to be specific) for a large BBQ and had plenty left over for the rest of the season. Dee’s has award winning jerky and their buffalo wings win best of show in my book.
If you have a dog, don’t forget to ask for a bag of bones for the pup. They’re cheap and Fido will love you forever!
