Love the décor, sat at the bar, friendly service. Had appetizers and cold Strawberry Abita. Will come back to try their burgers…

Finance spotted this tikihut looking awesome establishment, after a romp through the Strand. Short story — Great atmosphere, fair prices, patio music/​smoking & most of all, AMAZING HAMBURGERS & FRENCH FRIES! We would drive in from Houston for just for their grub. We are still having flashbacks of flavor… They are a must stop to chill & refill.
The only (& I hate to complain) suggestion I have is that the dude with the mad guitar skills & great voice, choose some island groovy songs, instead of a slew of depressing songs. It was harshing my burger buzz. ugh.

**Best boiled shrimp hands down! Whoever is cooking in that kitchen knows exactly what they are doing! Best meal I’ve had since I left Louisiana and will gladly be back ASAP! Chocolate cake was also good if you’re in the mood for a light fluffy moist cake with creamy layers. Cute place — wear your flip flops and order something with coconut– nice fun beach vibe. ***Boiled shrimp was phenomenal!!***

Food, environment & décor was great! Service not so much. The waitress with the blue hair was a bad waitress she forgot orders, repeatedly told how much «she sucked at her job and at least she was honest about it» too much drama to deal with when all you want is a delicious burger after a great day at the beach.
Management did comp and provide desert for the trouble. Probably a great restaurant on a normal day.

I been here a few times. Make sure to ask about their specials. You can feed your face for cheap and the lone stars for 1.75 are some of the best prices on the island. The bartender’s are attentive. The wikki buger is awesome. Make sure to try to Nacos are some of the best I have had on the island.

Went last week and loved it. It is a great spot to visit with friends and have a burger. Service was great also.

This was a neat place on the island. It’s a burger place. Don’t expect anything else, but me and my group all tried four different burgers and they were all amazing.

Solid 4 star for galveston. Off the seawall and all the touristy areas. I have to say that a server giving a 3 star review for the inability to split checks is silly. What kind of server shows up to make servers lives hard?
Anyways, the rotisserie chicken salad sandwich was fantastic but the burger with the bacon in it, pineapples and jalapeño on it was delicious. Fries were good and the boudin bills were okay. Chips and salsa needs more salsa.

A friend and I checked it out the first time and had the largest CRAWFISH!
this place is perfect for any occasion and the servers are superb!
Only reason the place isn’t five stars is because I haven’t tried anything else on their menu yet and have only eaten lunch there… I will review again on Saturday!

Okay, so they dropped down a star for me. I still love the atmosphere and the people … But for dinner I had horrible service — I’ve been to this restaurant 5 times now and I usually go during lunch …
The server we had was flustered (I am a server, I’m not going too hard on this review for that reason). I am going hard on it because the server (though everyone was helping him and we were being patient) continued to mess up by not putting in orders to not splitting the bill correctly… We had to remind him three times of an order to put in, I didn’t mind any of those mistakes at first… But he didn’t even try to get it fixed …
But as I said … I will only be going during lunch hours, the servers seem to be more aware of their guests, and for the place to be as small as it is, the sections were not large (he probably had 3 tables)…
For example, if I get crawfish I expect all of my fixings to be on the table along with it (roll of paper towels, and a bucket)… I was upset at how bad this guy sucked because he seemed nice… But it wasn’t even enough .
Sorry huli huli, I won’t be there for dinner but save me a place at lunch !

Super cute place decorated and painted in a tiki theme. Really nice staff that makes you feel at home.

Great crawfish at a great price. I took one of my employees since he had been driving me nuts for four days and he still can’t stop talking about it. I’ll be back when I come back every 6 weeks. It’s nice to find a «regular» place to go that’s anything but «regular».
You can spend hours starting at the murals on the walls and floors. This place is going to be HUGE in Galveston, I’m not even from here but see it coming.

This place is really cute and well put together. A local Galveston artist did all of the murals and it’s amazing to look at while you’re eating. I ordered the nachos which were not the best ever, but I also had a bite of my boyfriend’s Hawaiian burger and some fries and they were great. Go for the ambiance & fun appetizer/​happy hour atmosphere!

The owners of this place have got it RIGHT! Went for a late lunch yesterday and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Attention to detail from the food, the drinks and especially the décor. I ordered the Waikiki burger with smoked Gouda, grilled pineapple and jalapeños and sliced avocado. I don’t know how they could have made it better because it was perfect. In fact the meat was bigger than the bread! The French fries too were delicious and the portions are huge. BF got the Bonzai bacon burger, the bacon is ground up with the hamburger meat, covered in Swiss cheese, grilled pineapple, grilled jalapeños and sliced red onion. He said that was the best burger he has had since moving here. I agree. We each had a margarita, nice size and perfect. The service was fast and friendly. We sat outside because it was such a pretty day, but the tropical theme continues on inside, and you feel like you are sitting on the beach. They even have paintings on the floor. Galveston has needed a place like this! Highly recommend this charming «beach hut». Just wish they had a West End Huli Huli Hut.

Had lunch here, good service, I tried the veggie burger, I have to say it was one of the best I’ve had, and the fries where also good.

Open for breakfast now and named the Huli Huli Hut. Great service, good food and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
