I am very sad that I can not recommend this nail salon for gel or shellac manicures. The technician WILL damage your nails. I had made the mistake of trying to remove gel myself and damaged my nails in the process. I went to Nail Boutique intending to get a shellac manicure in hopes it would protect my nails as the damaged areas grew out. When I mentioned that there was a little gel still left on the nails, the technician pulled out a file and proceeded to sand the gel off my nails. The first coat of shellac went on bumpy and uneven in color. Rather than soaking the shellac off with cotton and tin foil, the technician sanded off an entire layer of shellac from my 10 nails. She also sanded away some of my skin in an attempt to get it all off. My skin was tender for two days. My nails now are so weak that I am unable to do a lot of things without them bending. I can not even unclasp my watch band because the nail will bend.

Awful. I asked for a «Special Pedicure» and a regular manicure, and both were horrible. The special pedicure was supposed to come with a foot scrub and 10 minute massage. Apparently, this meant three quick strokes for each heel with a callus remover followed by 10 minutes of a woman applying lotion to my legs. I can put lotion on myself. I was really looking forward to the foot massage and this was a huge disappointment. My manicure was probably worse. I don’t know how this woman screwed up a simple manicure, but it was so bad I took the nail polish off and re-polished my nails myself. The total came out to be $ 45 but I would have gladly paid more for better service. I don’t recommend this place at all. I tipped 15% because I’ve never tipped lower, but now I wish I had.
